Tim you continue to amaze me! Your creativity and skill level seams to grow weekly! Thanks for everything you do, your concern for the environment with using reclaimed materials. Your love of creating . The responsibility you feel for your family, your business, your planet and your desire to teach and share. Thanks man!
The Jambulance needs a 120dB musical horn that plays rock ring tones. Here are some examples, "Alright Now", "Low Rider", "Panama", "Good Times, Bad Times", "The Ocean", etc. You get the picture. I'm sure other viewers can contribute here, I've only had one cup of coffee on this Sunday Morning. Thanks for the video. Keep on Rockin' in the Free World my good man.
Always great to see the progress of the van build keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Tim and Vance make on great videos can't wait to see updates
Holey mother of moo cow, man...👀 So much going on, so many new additions, so many great sponsors, so much subscriber support...👌🏾 I'm truely stoked for you, mate, everything is coming together and falling into place, awesome! 👍🏾
Oh, you mean volume 73? It was within arm's reach as I watched. The truck is awesome. Please consider participating in Crimson Guitars' Great Guitar Build-Along. You can join the actual competition, or just build a guitar and put up videos. So many people started building and publishing on their own in response to the original competition, that they decided to give the unofficial entrants an opportunity to have their own, parallel competition, with rules and prizes and whatnot. A lot more people are just building. So much creativity has been unleashed, but only 1 person I know of is using reclaimed materials, an old church pew. I would love to see what you could bring.
my whole channel is full of weird and wacky guitars! I didn't have time to do anything for that. I have two instrument build videos coming out soon (one is the new DIY bass kits) that I could easily tag one for the contest but that feels disengenuous - and I'm just not a competetive person :)
The carpet is a great addition. Glad you were able to find a company to work with that shares your ideals. Trash bass still sounds great, especially through that sweet amp. Thanks for sharing!
The truck is looking great Tim! Can't wait to see it up close & in person. Great Bass version of "Fly Me To The Moon", which is where I think you are heading with that truck! Way to go.....👍👍😉😉👏👏
Hey Tim! LOVE your videos, and the JAMBULANCE!!! For your PA, have you considered using a high power car stereo amp? A lot smaller, and runs on 12v ... Just plug a mixer in and go! You could even go with built in speakers to remove setup and teardown every time...
Nice again Tim. I actually always feel very motivated after watching your videos. Thank you for that. 👍🏻 Btw, for these stairs on the back, I would try to find a way to secure it to the truck. It's a bit to easy now to move it around. Seems a bit unsafe.
they are temporary until I make Izzy's idea, which will be attached to the stage. These are far from optimal, but also heavy as hell and sit still better than expected.
Heya Tim, great to see the truck looking so awesome. It's been saved from the rust heap and I doubt you could have got anything better by buying new - factoring in character, satisfaction and functionality.
Coming along nicely. Would like to see a hand rail for the back steps. Also it will define where the steps are actually at so people cannot step of of stage while using steps ,like missing the first top step if you know what I mean? JMO.Thanks for the content.
I can't wait to see the folding stairs you have designed with Izzy. Just the though of it sounds like it will be awesome! Have fun with your time off doing that special baseball game or whatever it is being called these days ;)
Wow! An ad right over your voice at 1m 45s!! I thought RUclips’s algorithms were supposed to select ‘appropriate’ points 🤬 The Vans the man. Looking great Tim.
13:27 *that "wacko" is totally biting your style!* you should get your lawyer to send a cease-and-desist letter. the truck is really looking awesome, and your "trash" bass sounds so nice on that dope amp. finally, that "narwhal labs" makerspace looks so amazing!...wish they had stuff like that around here in dc (theoretically they do, but even before coronavirus, when i checked in january to work on my tiny-home-in-truck, THEY ARE NEVER OPEN. like 4 hours a week or something, at super weird times).
lol. Next week's vid will show more of Narwhal. It's a well put together place. Not sure how often they will be open when they can be open, but yea, it's difficult to keep the doors open on a brick and mortar biz. that's why I'm shoving mine in to the back of a truck :)
@@timsway ruclips.net/video/kScd4L55xRg/видео.html it's a little long (30 minutes, and apparently you cannot de-monetize videos anymore so no idea if there's ads :/ ) but i'd *love* your HONEST opinion if you get a chance to take a gander sometime. :) lol, i loved building it, LOVE living in it, and everyone i've shown it to has thought it was cool...but wtf do we know? ;) peace
love to hear that bass amp put through a work out :) have u given any thought to the acoustics of the back of the truck? somebody that does that sort of thing might give u some ideas about how to get the best sound out in a gig situation?
Oh yes, acoustics were a part of the process, but basically just to deaden the sound and soften the corners as much as possible like a recording studio, without wasting too much space. So when a bunch of people are trying guitars it doesn't sound like a bad day at at a Guitar Center :) The bench cushions are the final piece that will act as traps, too.
I know, I know! I don't think I could ever make the van ADA compliant as it's just not wide enough to drive a wheelchair between the built-ins, so unfortunately the truck will never be fully accessible. However with the stage open you can see it pretty well from the ground and, of course, I'm more than happy to bring anything out of the truck and hand it to people who can't get in to see. On a side note, I've had some discussions about making guitars designed for people with disabilities, too, which I hope will come to fruition.
I've dreamt of owning one of these for a long time. Most of their stuff is a little more traditional now, but still super small and lightweight: www.pjbworld.com/cms/ They're in to lots of little speakers over big woofers and have it down.
You're way out of your league, Tim. Lol! In all seriousness, everything looks great, Tim. I hope you're able to expand your business with this new venture. :)

Consider affixing some vertical pipe (grab handles) along both sides of the front door for people to hold onto as they step up into the truck.

like how you thank them for their help, not give them a stupid shout out.
How about this as a slogan for the truck: "This van is rocking!"
You know, as a play on "don't come knocking..."
I Thought about doing something like that with lettering, but then I thought about explaining it to my son...
@@timsway Just give him a shirt that says "This Vance is rocking too!"

The bass amp sounds great Tim, I’m currently building one to be compact but sound faithful to the tone. Have you got a link please?
