This is awesome, Howard! The tool keeps getting better and better. However, I wanted to ask what happened with the animated GIF and video support feature? According to the Adobe forum that feature was started in March 2019, but we still haven't seen it released. What's the hold up on that?
This is still something the team is exploring, but there are two things holding it back. 1, priorities - the team shifted a few things in 2020. 2, performance - videos/GIFs have the possibility to bring performance down. They want to make sure it doesn't suffer.

PS, I'm not sure if this is what we're going for so I thought I would ask. I do videography and noticed your evil angle. Head facing straight on, and camera above eye line and you looking "Up" into camera make the mood feel Evil and give the vibes of a psychopath. If this is what were you going for sorry to bother you otherwise if it wasn't you can simply just lower the camera to or below eye line or tilt the head back a bit. Either way, thank you again.
I activated a vertical scroll group and a horizontal scroll group; however, when I try to use the desktop preview, none of the items move in either direction. What am I doing wrong? I have a PC with Windows 10 by the way.
HAHAHAHA this is great, I just removed 10 screens with auto-animations for this feature. Ugghh I wish I am reading and watching updates. Now I just subscribed to learn more latest techniques
Not really thought through this new feature (Windows)!!!: - no chance to scroll with mouse at all (dragging) - mouse scroll wheel only supports vertical scrolling, horizontal and panning not possible, only chance to use this feature if you own a touch display - no chance to add scrollbars

@@HowardPinsky Thanks for your reply - I did have an older version even though it said in creative cloud app it was up to date. So I reinstalled the cc app and adobe xd and now I'm able to make scroll groups :D
Can anyone help me with this. I am currently using Adobe XD version 15.0 on my MacBook but I haven't got the new update yet with these features mentioned in the video above. How can I fix this problem? Thanks in regards for the help! MT_Designs
If you're that far back and don't see available updates, I would recommend uninstalling the Creative Cloud app and reinstalling it. There must be something preventing you from reaching the servers.
For guys using Windows, it is different: 1.Highlight the header text that you want have lowered when you scroll down, then click on vertical scroll on the right. 2. Ensure you tick the 'fix position when scrolling' box Click on preview and BINGO!!!
What operating system are you running? I used a trackpad to record this video. One of our PMs also suggested holding "Shift" while trying to scroll. Additional fixes are in the works.

I've tried locking and grouping but when you scroll on the image the pin just stays in one place and doesn't move around with the image. Sorry if this is a totally basic question. I'm learning :)

PLEASE address jumping to a certain position on a page from another page. Please. It's basic navigation. We should be able to have a menu item link to the section of the page where its content is housed. Please address this, please!
@@HowardPinsky It's a shame to release such major improvements and they actually exist in the PC version but don't work. Working demos are always shown on a Mac. And we have to wait for a fix?! Don't you have testers doing their jobs before a release?
@@nikolayzagorov9306 Completely agree. It's really frustrating as a costumer. If you're going to release an update as important as this one, you should make sure ALL users have FULL access to it once it is live, not just the ones that happen to work with a Mac.

@@HowardPinsky After alot of log in and out etc the CC installer finally gave me access to the XD upgrade, however horizontal scroll group doesn't work on Windows. Only the vertical. I've tried on two different installments. Do wish Adobe would test XD cross platforms before releasing. It should be obvious but when asking the forum the response is always "it SHOULD work on Windows too."

Double check to make sure XD is up to date. A fix was released a while back for Windows. Clicking + Dragging should allow you to scroll.

Make sure XD is at least version 30. If not, check for updates again.

Howard Pinsky so I need to uninstall creative cloud but in order to do that I need to delete all of my current apps like XD from my pc. Is that right?

am I being stupid, but when I set the areas for vertical & horizontal it doesn't scroll at all???
