Thank you, so much, LINDA MARGETTS. I disliked nothing and delighted in everything. My wife and I earned Master of Sacred Music degrees at Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio, before it was, sadly, discontinued. We studied organ with Frederick Jackisch, composition with Jan Bender, harpsichord with Trudy Faber, choral lit. and conducting techniques, managing liturgical worship planning, as well as vocal lit. and technique with an emphasis in pedagogy. The LUTHERAN traditions of Bach, Martin Luther, and many others was certainly part of the two-year curriculum. Your two pieces from the Lutheran repertoire were very much appreciated in this program. I would very much appreciate knowing how I might obtain a copy of Clay Christiansen's patriotic setting of "My Country 'Tis of Thee." It is often somewhat difficult to locate and learn such a piece for the several Patriotic services and recitals we organists are invited to share in. Once more, Linda, it is always a joy to hear you bring music to life. Thank you for your 9-11-2020 program which was full of hope and promise from hymn texts inspired by scriptures.
