I wish they would rework the support weapons where teammates could assist WITHOUT having their own backpack - it would have you team up and use a bunch of ammo to take out a large threat quickly, which would make it more of a 'support' weapon that is meant to 'support' with specific situations and go through ammo quickly doing it. Haven’t seen any players asking for OP weapons, we just don’t want every weapon to have very limited ammo and only be reliable against 1/4 of the enemies. We all just want all weapons to be reliable, not be starving for ammo 100% of the time and not be stuck depending on stratagems that have big CD’s when spawn rates are super fast.
I have long wondered why they don't have passive skills granted by either rank or activity. It would make sense to muhrealism If I heal a fellow helldivers 200 times, I am granted an additional stim on drop in, or increase the amount I get from supply boxes by 1. If my 150 leveled diver handled weapons better than a level 1 cadet & my reload time and recticle sway went down a % or few every 5 or 10 levels. if I team reload another diver 200 times, I'm allowed to have 1 supply box on my guy on drop in, or maybe an extra mag for all weapons If I kill 200 enemies in one mission with grenades, I'm allowed to carry an additional grenade or get another one on resupply. If I killed 500 enemies in one mission with my secondary, I'm allowed to dual wield that secondary. (Maybe not, but dude. Bet it brings back more players than the last update) It would promote mechanics AH likes while giving us things we like. There are a lot of weapons that fall off at higher difficulties, but an additional mag or two and a little quicker reload and a little less sway would move them up a tier while still keeping the core weapon early on in the game. *if I drowned 80 times I'm granted floaties.
i want to believe they're telling the truth here, i want helldivers to be my main game i play, so im hoping the changes make it fun enough to bring my friends back to it, because so far they dont even want to reinstall it and i cant blame em
Something tells me we're gonna get one really cool update where they buff a bunch of cool weapons, only to see that everything including the newly released warbond is nerfed once again. Or even worse, hear that we don't care about realism and change ammo to a bullet count system instead of per-magazine and say "See! We're listening!". I can see them sniffing their farts so much that they'll actually do it. If not out of stupidity, out of spite.
I agree. They do follow that pattern all too much. If they REALLY cared about metas, they should make more metas instead of less. Give us firepower, not artificial struggles.
@@Chickensea10 Even Payday 3 is looking good. And when they nerfed a really good perk that the community liked they reversed it in three days. 7:17 big important note on the rag doll with water “elements”. If your on an ice planet and you stand on ice, sometimes blasts that rag doll you can push you under the solid ice as if it’s water, usually it’s not a problem but the last time it happened to me it glitched me under the map fully, locked me in, and then I got shot through it by a swarm of bots we were fighting. Mind you I had good cover, it’s just the concussive blast pushed me wildly. I’m also not a fan of going into a small coma because I dove out of the way of a tank shot but I hit my shoulder on a rock that sat slightly at a 45° angle, and then get stepped on by a scout strider.
If they fixed everything in the entire game tonight. Space marines is still coming out, so what’s your point? Space marines isn’t live service, in a year, will you be playing space marines or helldivers?
@@Sammy-xi3cf In some cases absolutely. But looking at the clips the marines look awesome and the oponents like crap without soul or logic. Enemies standing around waiting for a cool execution is fun once or twice. After a while it is just stupid.
@misterdoy1e I swear man these Unfairrowhead shills are almost as bad as Bethesda fanboys that just see no wrong. The only thing they ever pay attention to is the game itself. They deserve it.
I get the charger rework. Seemingly they're designed like you're supposed to dodge them and attack their rear, but the best way to deal with them is to attack them head-on with heavy weapons and strategems. Bit odd
They also have an insane turn rate, while charging and while standing still. If you stun one and try to flank to behind it, it’ll turn to look at you WHILE stunned so it entirely forces you to knock off its leg armor or blow its head off.
(I'm dyslexic and don't usually comment so bear with me lol) I think the reason this game is so popular is not only because of the crazy big explorations and the power fantasy but also the moment to moment gameplay. The "mill sim" like futures is why there are a lot of nuanced decision making in the combat. That is a big part of what makes this game fun and challenging imo. I hear a lot of people suggesting that there should only be buffing to weapons and NO nerfing. I know nerfing doesn't feel grate, but at some point that becomes a problem to if you make all the guns strong. It will effect the hole concept of stratagems and support weapons, they are there to make you feel strong. If they make primary weapons to strong, then i think stratagems become less impactfull. One can argue that they should just buff the stratagems in that case. But then it can end up being to easy and you can't just keep adding enemies to compensate because at some point there is a limit to what the game can handle. All the decision making in what to pick as a loadout and teamwork gets thrown out the window. I don't think the devs want a game where everyone is self reliant... they want people to work together. For me the game is still fun because I play with my team and try goofy loadouts and not only whats "meta". And people complaining that the weapons are to bad if you play on 9 or 10 difficulty is a bit strange to me. I think the point of those difficulties is to actually test players and have them cooperate to be successful, bring different synergistic loadouts and not trying to be a one man army. It fits the theme of the game, we are expendable as helldivers and not meant to be "ALL POWERFULL" alone, but together we strong idk. Sure there can do better with balance and fixing and so on, but i think it's wrong to claim that they don't know why there game is fun and popular. They have worked on it for 8 years and have an understanding of game design, if they didn't this game would not be this popular or exist in the first place. I think we should be careful to wish for only BUFF BUFF BUFF and NEVER nerf. It might be fun in the beginning, but will be detrimental to the longevity of the game and it's replayability because of lack of meaningful challenge.
I tried suggesting armor comes off with sustained damage and was called dumb for it my suggestion was light armor pen can eventually break through med and med armor pen eventually through heavy.
Proof will be in the pudding, we have heard this song & dance before. Two months mark, if things have not shifted from this 'realistic mil-sim' mentality to something closer to what the player base wants..
The player test server idea does have me a bit concerned too, if the sweaty players dominate them then the balance could go more towards needing to play with cheese tactics, like spawning on rocks and spamming strats/nades to have a chance of beating extermination missions, their response to the patch backlash has been “quit complaining” and “git gud” when this isn’t a skill issue.
If they’re worried about the flame weapons being too powerful (if it’s not a performance concern) what they could do is define the role of each flame weapon more clearly (or all the weapons for that matter) support weapon could have a similar effect to that of the acid storm where it either reduces the armor or could straight up melt off armor, thereby keeping the silly “bouncing” effect that they are keen on keeping for some reason while also maintaining the utility of the support flamethrower. The primary and secondary flame throwers should have a stackable DoT effect: The more times an enemy is hit by a flame projectile, the more damage they take over time. 🤷♂️
They rushed the release of the new flame weapons and had to break the flamethrower to make it work: The old flame mechanics let flame bypass armor right? If AH kept the original mechanics then the new flame primary and flame pistol would both bypass armor, kill chargers, and be OP. They backed themselves into a corner through incompetence
I must be the only one that wants a test range type of room option in game where you could spawn different types of enemies to test your guns and stratagems.
As a developer my best guess is their flame damage model is shared across all the weapons so they nerfed the thrower in order for the DLC weapons not be broken. That speaks volumes to me.
Something I really wish they would change is if you drown or fall into a cavern/ burning zone I want a way to re obtain the lost samples. I got ragdolled far into a lake with 20 samples and 15 rares and all my teams supers and I drowned and we couldnt get them back
Regarding the ragdoll issue - gamers have been polled numerous times in the past and the leading cause of anger and frustration for gamers that just outright infuriates them is complete loss of control of their character. This is especially prevalent in MMOs or other games wearing loss of character control can occur for more than 5 to 10 seconds at a time due to gameplay mechanics. When getting ragdolled around the map in helldivers, this is essentially the exact same thing as losing complete control of your character. Especially during bot missions where you may end up getting ragdolled for the entirety of your drop until you are killed and dropped back in again. For the first time since playing helldivers 2 the other night, I actually rage quit a match and have not played the game since. This happened on Sunday evening (today is Wednesday) and the moment I got out of my hellpod dropping into a random match, the first thing that happened was I got blown away by some rocket launching bot and got blown clear across the map. When I landed, I was hit by another form of rocket that sent me flying in the other direction. I then died when I collided with a mountain. When I dropped back in, the first thing that happened was I was immediately ragdolled out of my hellpod and blown all the way across the map. From there, another group of bots that was engaging one of the other divers on the team was also launching missiles and I got ragdolled again going further down the map. By the time I landed I was clear across the map from the Northeast corner down more than halfway to the Southwest corner of the map... And I got ragdollee again from there. At that point I had died but it was infuriating. After those happened, I dropped in again and was immediately killed before my hellpod had even animated me out of the ground. So, I actually died under the ground inside the hell pod. That was it for me and I have not played the game since. I of course will most likely play again at some point this week but right now it has been too infuriating to try and play the game with the ragdoll physics being the way they are. That was an extreme example of what happened, but I wound up spending two other bot matches getting ragdolled all over the place and it was just not fun at all
Yeah my guess is the initial flame changes were seen as a bug fix internally, and they would have made for an insanely OP pistol if they didn't make and keep them. That and I can see it being performance related too. Doesn't excuse it per say, but I don't think they conciously decided to nerf the flamer weps in particular just for funsies. I really hope a ptr/balance beta style testing environment helps them catch this stuff earlier, I think it will make a big difference.
Shoot I'd like them to fix that glitch where I'm on a mission and then next thing I know screen goes black and I'm back on my ship. An no I wasn't kicked from the mission either. Sucks that I did all that work and lost out on all the things that was gathered or exp points and more.
Chargers aint the problem, you can take em out with most weapons pretty handy...Bile Spewers...dont let them slip under the radar, theyre still quiet, still fast, and for some reason theyre the only bug not affected by the stun from the Cookout gun..they dont budge they just keep charging, fix em.
I uninstalled this game a few days ago. They have a pattern. Soon as a new WB is about to release, they nerf in accordance with that WB. This is like clockwork, they do it every month. It's to keep you paying to play with different weapons. To me It makes no sense because eventually someone would catch on. Now of course they nerf the flamethrower when a WB dealing with fire is released. Nope, I've already deleted this game and will not return unless a significant change in how this game is run is implemented. I get you need to make money, find ways to do so other than nerfing the damn weapons. To me there are too many weapons as is, and if you're going to continue to add more they should be more than standard weapons. Idk, I'll check back in about 6 months or so but I honestly don't see them changing much.
What u said about the chargers they just need to buff special weapons and make more to break armor , they need to ass boss planets where u eventually fight a boss like how cool don’t even have to be one being like giant beings on a few planets helldivers r designated to go to or something like that u know add mod support they’ll make sales 😅 better guns add water element weapons for bots no crossovers more types of missions make it to were there are stealth missions that would be awesome where the team has to work together
My performance has been the worst it's ever been. It seems to have stabilised a bit now, but when the update first came out, it would crash constantly.
They need to fix the AI of when using the BLIZTER on the bots the always float towrds me making them faster from a glitch. The BLIZTER pushing enemies back.
Make heavy armor resistant to ragdoll. I think a lot of the player base would rather just play solo, and I mean that regarding a loadout that makes them able to handle everything on the map by themselves. I don’t mind most of the weapon adjustments because it just makes you really think about what you’re taking vs what your team is taking. Does it suck to lose your favorite weapon or for it to be useless entirely? Absolutely. But myself, I appreciate the attempt to make everything equally viable albeit they never hit the mark after every patch.
Chargers and Bile Titans are the main reason why I play this game on controller for the vibration notification. This switch has saved me probably 200 deaths over the course of the last 6 months. Enemy audio in this game is legit worse than Warzone.
They said they’d fix the balancing issues a few months back and this very last patch made the flamethrower completely useless. I cannot fathom why they’re doing this AND lying about it.
I used to play The Red Solstice; It's not a horde shooter. What people think this is, and what it is are completely different. There is no way the players and developers are going to agree
oh look. arrowhead is talking again. time for the ritual of "we hear you and what your saying, but also fuck you we are gunna do what we want" at this point they should really just shut up. its clear their version of "transparency" is just saying what the players want to hear but not actually doing any of that. they have zero good graces left. they shit the bed over and over. time to let em lay in it.
60 days is a very very long time especially there are some other new games that are coming out really soon. Honestly, if no positive changes within this next week, lot of players will change from upset to apathy.
To be completely honest, I have no faith they will get me to return. I took a break a little after the Sony Debacle, and every time i tried to return, the weapons felt like using a wet piece of tp to clean up an exploded porta-poty. The latest update sounded cool. Log in, and it hasnt changed. They have had so many chances to fix this. Literally every update we tell them its not working and they do it again. Im probably not coming back.
At this point whatever comes out of Arrowheads mouth I am assuming it is a blatant lie and false promise until they’ve prove multiple times in the future that they moved away from their usual balance approach.
Simple Solutions for Helldivers 2: 1) No more Nerfs. (Stop promising of no more nerfs then proceed to Nerf on the next patch) 2) Do not listen to the Woke Community Managers. (They're not showing the actual player feedback, proof is looking at the current situation right now) 3) Focus in making the game fun. (Nerfs are NOT fun) 4) Remove Region Lock. (Not fun losing player count when you block 170+ regions) 5) Play "Earth Defense Force 6". (This is what fun looks like)
They need to nerf bile titans being immune to EMS strike it was so nice to get some breathing room i get the ems mortar not being able to or a stun grenade but the orbital ems is a destroyer grade round it should stun those buggers
I dont think they intended for a mil sim. Take a look at the launch trailer, it beamed of unhinged action. Plus the story and lore fits more with it. That’s probably why the nerfs doesn’t sit so well. They force players to dodge and avoid enemies and too much action. That was not what was advertised.
Arrowhead may fumble, but at least they’re talking to us i’ve played so many games were devs and companies just do not talk. It’s just nice to have some people that talk. I just hope they fix stuff.
If they can't do something good for the flamethrower, I am out. I went through multiple nerfs and I endured it but this thing was my baby and they dared to destroy it. This was the last straw.
More people are just finding out how AH approach these issues. They have this routine: 1. Good at PR talk as a way of apology for their incompetence. 2. Release an update couple of months later it's all mediocrity and no major update has been done, not living up what was promised from the previous PR talk. 3. Repeat 1 and 2. I won't be surprised if after 60 days all those mentioned in the "powerpoint bullet points" post are ALL TALK. It became stale to a point I really don't want to waste anymore time playing a broken game. So yeah, Arrowhead should DO MORE AND LESS TALK.
Intention isn’t the same as “doing” I didn’t intend to make a “balance” to the “meta”. I ain’t believing shit out of these devs of staff for that matter going forward; unless they buff the AR Penetrator. It’s the one gun that needs the most freaking attention for any new player. It’s one of the first medium armor tier weapons for primaries and feels like peashooter rather than a weapon
When I throw a sentry on the floor it bounces to a different location that I didn't want I hate that. Also I swear there are times when I've reloaded my gun and it still hasn't reloaded so I end up reloading again. Also the assault rifle damage is beyond pitiful. Raise it up or add new better guns.
I think them doing an opt in beta test like they say is a great idea and shows they actually do care about feedback. Now let’s see them put their money where their mouths are.
In this case we will see if the game is worth reinstalling in 2 months. In the meantime it remains in the trash. They have made this kind of statement in the past and are still at the stage where they are trying to understand how the game should evolve, even though we have only been telling them since the beginning.
Would have been dope if they kick it off with reverting the last changes and act NOW. But for what ever reason they can't do dat, noted. I bet after those 60 days the AR-23P Liberator Penetrator will still sit on 45 dmg. Mabey they give it 2 more mags and ''fine tune'' the dmg down to 40 just to make sure. Like FK OFF.... hell no.
I love this game and I appreciate the transparency from the developers but I honestly think they don't have a clear vision of what they want this game to be and are just in a constant scramble to keep people happy.
"Balanced for the sake of balanced" is absolutely what I did not want to read. They absolutely don't have the balls to come out and say: "Yeah, we were actually trying to make the game less fun and confuse you by adding paid Warbonds that promise better weapons which we just nerf later on anyway so it doesn't appear like it's pay to win after a while. We were trying to scam you with the approach we were going and we will do better and focus more on what's fun."
Same shit different day. How many times now have they said theyll balance better? Also with reverting the flame nerfs. since when has implementing something that would break other things stopped them from implementing it? I can think of more than a few times they broke stuff after adding shit.
I don't think Community Management should get a "feeling for the community" by looking at social media and the content creators. Reality exists outside the internet and I'd say at least 80% of players are not jumping on the social media comments and all that. Doesn't mean you should IGNORE the social media stuff, just be more aware that this is NOT the whole player base, they are those gathering around the content creators. It often is just the "loud minority".
Unlikely. They have 27 days left, they clearly are NOT listening to the remaining players and quite frankly? Those that left either dont care anymore or just want to see it burn. Me personally? I'm happy seeing the Horus Heresy Mk2 develop. Its some nice entertainment while I'm waiting for SM2

Agreed on this sadly, maybe they’ll realize they have a problem when 95% drop off gets even higher, maybe they’ll come to there senses when they see 10k active or less
I like many others saw this coming when they changed the railgun instead of addressing the toxic players and the kicking problem. At this point Im not even upset, AH has every right to do whatever balancing they want, the question is whether the player base will shrink to a level where the game is no longer sustainable. For the people that tell everyone to stfu and just stop playing the game, realize that without enough people playing and possibly buying currency for the warbonds, the game dies. If yall are ok with that, then we can all just wait and see.
In two months they will decide that their nerf was successful, just poorly received, and then they can move on to nerfing the next meta gun. Don't worry, though, they'll explain the nerf just like they did this time with something along the lines of, "This gun was too reliable," or maybe "you guys all liked this gun too much."
Their vision for game balance is fundamentally flawed. They can re-examine all they want. They have like 2 weeks before everyone jumps ship for Space Marine 2.
I don't agree. I think they know that and what can they do other than "re-examine" it? Doing that is good. Not "everyone" will jump on SM2, and you have no clue what kinds of flaws and bugs will wait for you there. I cannot say that I trust AH a lot, but the drama here is a bit over the top.
@@ThereWasATime how long did it take for them to examine how the fire warbond weapons performed before they nerfed it? They nerfed it 2 days before it even released. Give me a break. 60 days to examine potentially buffing. -2 days to nerf. Fool me once. At least the SM2 devs haven't already spit in my face.
Dev: We want primary weapons to only be good at killing chaffe. You should be using support weapons to kill other enemies. Hence we made armor levels reflect this so you can only kill trash with these weapons. Players: kill chaffe with a handful of weapons. Dev: Oh my god that's too reliable at killing trash mobs! Nerf that immediately.
And all the shills can do is go "lol you guys complain too much" "impossible to please" "bruh I think the game is perfection and everyone else is wrong lolol so right I am" Bunch of shills under heel with their butthole spread and their wallet open. Just like Bethesda shills. There are better games, but I'm glad they are stuck to this one. They deserve to be treated like they do and like it.
I suspect a meeting going along the lines of: Team lead: "I am worried that our current flame particles and calculations will tank performance. Especially with our new flame focused warbond" Caffeinated minion: "On it boss, I will fix the flame particles" Team lead: "good good, that should help" *one week later* Caffeinated Minion: "Jobs a good one boss! I made flamers non viable so no one will use them. Free frames for everyone!"

Every match so far today, I've either crashed or other players have crashed (like 4+ players a match). The more they fix, the more they break :D
I have long wondered why they don't have passive skills granted by either rank or activity.
It would make sense to muhrealism
If I heal a fellow helldivers 200 times, I am granted an additional stim on drop in, or increase the amount I get from supply boxes by 1.
If my 150 leveled diver handled weapons better than a level 1 cadet & my reload time and recticle sway went down a % or few every 5 or 10 levels.
if I team reload another diver 200 times, I'm allowed to have 1 supply box on my guy on drop in, or maybe an extra mag for all weapons
If I kill 200 enemies in one mission with grenades, I'm allowed to carry an additional grenade or get another one on resupply.
If I killed 500 enemies in one mission with my secondary, I'm allowed to dual wield that secondary. (Maybe not, but dude. Bet it brings back more players than the last update)
It would promote mechanics AH likes while giving us things we like.
Never underestimate Alexus' ability to destroy a game
Once that happens say goodbye to your playerbase! Warhammer is coming and so many amazing games like sparking zero.
@@Chickensea10 Even Payday 3 is looking good. And when they nerfed a really good perk that the community liked they reversed it in three days. And this is considering that the update had to go through a validation process on consoles.
Payday's playerbase literally was having the same discussions with the devs as here, but even a stubborn company like Starbreeze listens.
@@NorthEevee that's incredible
Honestly, everyone suspects the dude who killed hello neighbor 2 with unnecessary nerds is behind all this. That person didnt even like the game.
They got one more shot or this is it :(
7:17 big important note on the rag doll with water “elements”.
Give us a Weapon upgrade system!
I don't care anymore in 60 days, Space Marines 2 is coming out soon
@@Hiroth86 amen!
If they fixed everything in the entire game tonight. Space marines is still coming out, so what’s your point? Space marines isn’t live service, in a year, will you be playing space marines or helldivers?
@@macandcheeseofficial probably neither 😆
@@macandcheeseofficialthats not happening lol so space marine 2 is gonna make helldivers look like shit
@@Sammy-xi3cf In some cases absolutely. But looking at the clips the marines look awesome and the oponents like crap without soul or logic. Enemies standing around waiting for a cool execution is fun once or twice. After a while it is just stupid.
They are making their game less fun therefore making it less playable. It is becoming irrelevant
when was the last time you played it?
@@nattly6340 This past weekend. Tried to. I took a month break and came back to nothing being as it was.
@@misterdoy1e right... well too bad your impossible to please i guess lamo
@@nattly6340 My opinion is echoed here in the comments section. Majority of the player base is upset with the game. Look around
When has an update breaking anything stopped them before? Even now crashing happens a lot.
Stylosa is officially a helldiver's channel now lmao😂
10:57 omg I've been BEGGING for footstep reworks since day one, the amount of times huge enemies just appear behind me is actually ridiculous
The flamethrower changes probably cant be reverted because its probably related to lasers now properly burning enemies
When are they going to actually do something
I'll admit to these words are encouraging but they are just that, words. Let's see what their actions hold.
My guess for the flame nerf was that it probably melted the impaler instantly and they wanted it to be harder
If they’re worried about the flame weapons being too powerful (if it’s not a performance concern) what they could do is define the role of each flame weapon more clearly (or all the weapons for that matter)
support weapon could have a similar effect to that of the acid storm where it either reduces the armor or could straight up melt off armor, thereby keeping the silly “bouncing” effect that they are keen on keeping for some reason while also maintaining the utility of the support flamethrower.
The primary and secondary flame throwers should have a stackable DoT effect: The more times an enemy is hit by a flame projectile, the more damage they take over time. 🤷♂️
They rushed the release of the new flame weapons and had to break the flamethrower to make it work:
The old flame mechanics let flame bypass armor right? If AH kept the original mechanics then the new flame primary and flame pistol would both bypass armor, kill chargers, and be OP. They backed themselves into a corner through incompetence
@@rayzerot Agreed
I must be the only one that wants a test range type of room option in game where you could spawn different types of enemies to test your guns and stratagems.
Space Marine 2 is close...let the bots win, raise your blade for the God Emperor!
That was an extreme example of what happened, but I wound up spending two other bot matches getting ragdolled all over the place and it was just not fun at all
Wonder how put 2 more magazines again to the incendiary breaker would break the game....
It's like they just threw everything they've heard from us since the railgun nerf into the dumpster and are rediscovering everything.
Either revert the update and fix stuff, OR YOU UNDO THE NERFS! *ALL THE NERFS!!*
20 minute video for a post that takes 30 sec to read. Truly one of the Styolsa moments of all times
If you play on a controller, you can feel heavies. That haptics has saved my team many times.
If the bots reach super earth do you think we’ll get a city biome?
Right, they're discussing and exploring again... Good luck with that.
glad I started playing DRG the other day!
They said they’d fix the balancing issues a few months back and this very last patch made the flamethrower completely useless. I cannot fathom why they’re doing this AND lying about it.
I used to play The Red Solstice;
It's not a horde shooter.
Keep in mind that most of these problems were caused by themselves. They did not pop up out of nowhere.
60 days is a very very long time especially there are some other new games that are coming out really soon. Honestly, if no positive changes within this next week, lot of players will change from upset to apathy.
For all intents and purposes this is their last chance imo.
Como si tuvieran 60 xddd, tienen hasta que salga space marine 2, tendran que hacer como no man sky y trabajar como locos si quieren triunfar
Which is 27 days as of the time of writing this comment (x They are *done* for.
I can live without a flamer change for 2 months but if i got to wait 2 months for strong primaries I dont think I will play its so unfun
Simple Solutions for Helldivers 2:
1) No more Nerfs. (Stop promising of no more nerfs then proceed to Nerf on the next patch)
2) Do not listen to the Woke Community Managers. (They're not showing the actual player feedback, proof is looking at the current situation right now)
3) Focus in making the game fun. (Nerfs are NOT fun)
4) Remove Region Lock. (Not fun losing player count when you block 170+ regions)
5) Play "Earth Defense Force 6". (This is what fun looks like)
They need to nerf bile titans being immune to EMS strike it was so nice to get some breathing room i get the ems mortar not being able to or a stun grenade but the orbital ems is a destroyer grade round it should stun those buggers
actions speak lounder than words
I just want the stalwart moved into a primary weapon
I don’t think many people are complaining about the chargers being stuck, Iknow with me I like it 1 less charger to deal with 🤣
I don't believe a word of this, I will only believe them when I start seeing results.
This feels more like a de-escalation then a Escalation.
More people are just finding out how AH approach these issues.
They have this routine:
If Helldivers was a realistic Milsim, i wouldn't be throwing away my half used magazines.
if they fix that animation of getting out of the puddle I'm coming for you
Would have been dope if they kick it off with reverting the last changes and act NOW.
But for what ever reason they can't do dat, noted.
I bet after those 60 days the AR-23P Liberator Penetrator will still sit on 45 dmg.
Mabey they give it 2 more mags and ''fine tune'' the dmg down to 40 just to make sure.
Like FK OFF.... hell no.
😐 We've been waiting since april for a good update. They told us to let them cook, they went on Vacation and after all that they still nerfed.
Finally! Something good!
To be honest, it sounds like the same old promises of what they have been saying and just not following through with.
"continue to re-examine our approach to balance" - They have not learned a thing
They probably wanted something like a PvE Battlefield. Cool idea, but that's not how this plays/feels.
1.5 million HD2 users and 1.4k actually using it. Says enough on their failures.
35k active players on steam alone?
Words are cheap. I'm not coming back without actions taken.
glad to know I'm not the only one constantly doing the "swimming out of water from ragdolling" animation xD
If they can make it fun again( by BUFFING everything) and then introduce the Squids, I believe the players will return.
Nah, so many inc myself are so fed up with the nerfs, we're all waiting for Space Marines 2 and that will break HD2
I gave up long ago. I watch other people's gameplay in the hopes that things improve, but every time I look I am glad I left.
Squids will require tactics, team coordination and skill beyond the bots and that does not appeal to the core horde shooter bug player base.
I played yesterday (no fire-based weapons) and it honestly felt better than it has in a long time. Seems something, somewhere is working.

Cool, see you in 2 months when the actions will speak for themselves.
Words are effortless and dont mean shit
In two months from now the space this game takes up on my drive will be occupied by something else, they don't have two months.
I think that any weapon should be able to break any armor with enough shots.
Heard the same craps from the original CEO, new CEO, mods, and devs but nothing ever changes for the better. Next!
And all the shills can do is go "lol you guys complain too much" "impossible to please" "bruh I think the game is perfection and everyone else is wrong lolol so right I am"
Bunch of shills under heel with their butthole spread and their wallet open. Just like Bethesda shills. There are better games, but I'm glad they are stuck to this one. They deserve to be treated like they do and like it.
"craps" made me laugh.
I suspect a meeting going along the lines of:
Team lead: "I am worried that our current flame particles and calculations will tank performance. Especially with our new flame focused warbond"
Caffeinated minion: "On it boss, I will fix the flame particles"
Team lead: "good good, that should help"
*one week later*
Caffeinated Minion: "Jobs a good one boss! I made flamers non viable so no one will use them. Free frames for everyone!"
