  • Re-uploaded the video as I was talking with a manufacturer about producing this item for the industry. This isn't the finished design but have some fun 3D printing and designing your own. This is how I did it.
Hi, back again with something new. I've had a 3D printer for a while and thought I would show you how it works to design and print something. There aren't many plastic tools used in plumbing, however, there are a few, one of them being the plumb thumb(TM). I could never justify spending £11 on a piece of plastic I rarely use and I find them quite bulky. In this video, I redesigned it to how I want it to be and also came up with extra ideas that could turn it into a little Swiss army knife kit that is able to be used on multiple items such as a Rad bleed key, a notch to use on pump valves or lock shield heads. Costing a jaw-dropping £0,50p to makeI'm just having some fun designing it and here you are. See what you think. It's a rad key and it's small AKA ickle making it the Rad Ickle Key :)
