    Islam respects women:
Quran 2:228 ""Women shall with justice have rights the same as those exercised against them, although men have a degree of responsibility over women."
Muhammad(s): "Only a vile, dishonorable man humiliates women", “Lucky is the woman whose first child is a daughter”, "Your wives are your partners, not your servants", "Paradise lies beneath your mother's feet",
Imam Ali (AS): "Women are like flowers. They should be treated gently, kindly, and with affection”, "If a woman cries over a man that oppressed her, angels will curse him with every step he walks"

@@IlkinJamalli Hii! I hope you're doing well and happy, if you don't mind, I would like to share my response on the controversial matter. Let's start off with the verse you mentioned. This is verse regards the women who are abusive themselves or who lie in huge matters. Let me give you an example or situation so you can clearly understand where I am coming from. Peter and Julie are a great couple. They're happy, loving, and are grateful to each other. One day, Julie starts becoming a bit more aggressive or rude, but Peter rules this out as mood swings or hormones, since it's never okay to automatically jump to harsh assumptions. Later as time progresses, Julie becomes more aggressive, shouting and belittling Peter regardless of him trying to kindly explain to her how her actions hurt him. After trying to communicate with Julie, he decides that he should sleep on the couch or in another room so that she may realize how hurtful she has been with her recent actions, resulting in him not sleeping in the same bed as her. Now, one day, they get into a big argument. She picks at Peter, follows him around when he tries to get away from her screaming or yelling, and she's constantly hurting him with her words, raising her hands to get her yelling through. Peter then finally goes and gently pats her wrists, but not painfully in a way she would get scared or hurt, and he says "Julie! Please! You are hurting me!" Julie slowly realizes how her actions have impacted Peter, and they make up. What I'm trying to get at is the verse is misinterpreted. Striking does not mean "beating" because beating or abusing your wife is not allowed in Islam. There are multiple hadiths of our Prophet Muhammad, saying to never hurt anyone and that those men who are of great character, are best to their wives. Major scholars of Islam have studied this verse and have said that beating your wife is never allowed , even if the husband tries to claim "oh, it's for discipline!" In fact, if this were taken to the court, and the husband claims that him beating his wife was for discipline, but she says that it was abusive, the court takes her word and punishes the husband for his abusive behavior. He is told to study is religion properly. You may say that other Muslim men are still inflicting domestic abuse on their wives, but the truth is, these husbands are ignorant and have not understood properly what Islam is or what it says. These husbands are of no representation of Islam. What are my sources? You can take a look at the video of Dr. Eyad Qunaibi titled Islam and "beating" women. He goes into detail on this controversial matter and clearly explains his evidence and reasoning in detail. Turn on English subtitles, because the video is in Arabic. If you have any confusion, please do let me know. I'd love to enlighten you any time. :)

So if they are not supposed to talk other than what is necessary, how then should a girl /woman get to know the guy for the purposes for marriage ? Because, (in theory at least) we should have been able to trust them on character but in our modern world, there is no way we can say yes to marriage blindly as the modern man has not been raised Islamically. It is very rare to find Muslim men who have read the Quran before he is of marriageable age, such that, at a minimum of conversation level, a girl can decide/deduce if he is trustworthy character.

That depends if I consider it to be either...
"Your replies (such as "i don't need instructions" and "not instructions for people like me") show how you're not interested in being guided"
Well, that depends on what it is I'm looking to be "guided" for. Am I on a tour? Am I needing directions somewhere? Am I interested in a subject or an art where I need to be? I choose who and what guides me because only I am in control of me and my actions.
"God only guides whomever He wants"
And though I am certain this is what you and many other theists believe, I have no good reason to believe it for one. For 2, I have no good reason to believe any "god" exists. And for 3, I have read the Quran, I am not interested in anything it has to teach. Anything of merit in the Quran is not exclusive to the Quran and can be found in other far better philosophical and moral places than the Quran without all the baggage. And lastly, it is because of many of the immoral and illogical things that the Quran teaches that I adamantly oppose it, so even IF your god existed, I would want nothing to do with it.
"He is The Wise and He knows best who is fit for guidance and who is fit for being held accountable"
Again, I disagree even if it actually exists, but I have no good reason to believe it does so of course I reject that claim as well.
"However, He already sent in His message that people with open hearts and really seek the truths for the sake of guidance shall find the truths and accept them, it's His promise."
This has nothing to do with "open hearts" and everything to do with seeking the truth which is why I adamantly oppose Islam. Because though I understand that it is "true" to you and your fellow Muslims, it most certainly is not about THE truth. Finding the truth is a process, determining the truth is a method, and Islam cannot pass the method...no religion can.
      "That also means, arrogant people"
And this has nothing to do with "arrogance", the fact that you keep trying to tell ME what my reasons are is quite telling...you literally have been TOLD to think the way you do, and you are a hypocrite because it is actually YOUR ego and arrogance that you have no control over that is the problem.
"you will get what will lead you to other paths, and you will get what you deserve"
Good...that's the way it should be.

@@ghafranhaque7161 "you fail to understand that we Muslims, seek the pleasure of Allah"
What do you mean I "fail to understand"??? Of course I understand that practicing theists live their life and make every decision with their chosen "god" at the very root of it all, but that does not make your "god" any more real or those folks like you any less delusional.
And tell us, what would a GOD _need?_ You suggest its "pleasure", but why would a god need pleasure? And how could petty humans even hope to please a GOD? That would be like an ant hoping to please an elephant.
"What the rest of people is not important to us as it is for you. You submit to people, we don't."
People exist, and unless you want to live on a deserted island somewhere or never leave the fuckin house, you are essentially forced to have to interact with people on a regular basis. One might hope that we would expect our fellow humans to be as _in touch with reality as possible_ don't you think? Interacting with our fellow humans is not "submitting" to them, it is being realistic in an interactive world and you live by the laws of man and fate whether you accept that or not. Your chosen "god" has nothing to do with this no matter how much you think it does and that is essentially the point.
There is no good reason for anyone to even believe your "Allah" exists, the fact that you have committed your life to a myth just means you are not in touch with reality, this means you are a potential threat to me and those I care about...do you think this is acceptable?
