That's what I thought, long islands are strong drinks. 2 of them would make me feel pretty good, and by 5 I would definitely be drunk. I wonder why the police would even say that, when everyone know long islands are strong drinks.
That was my 1st thought too, why wouldn't authorities know that a Long Island has not only vodka, but gin, tequila, rum, and triple sec. 2 would put me under the table, 5 and I would probably be dead from alcohol poisoning!
One time I was on a date and there was this Australian girl drunk off her ass stumbling about. Her so called "friends" did nothing to help as I guess they had got into an argument prior. I kept looking over listening in as these two guys swore they would take her home after they kicked it at his house first. They lifted her up and started heading towards the door. I think Kaylen's case is much like the death of Elisa Lam. Everything about it suggests that she was having some kind of severe mental health crisis and she didn't get the help she needed in time. There doesn't need to be any history of it, it has to start at some point and there are many things that could trigger such a thing.
Don't drink anything that's already made or opened. I got mickeyed by my first roommate. But that incident saved me from being a victim again. I was working in club in Cincinnati, all other employees, including bouncers got it. When I came back from break, only one standing was the owner. He was yelling at me, saying I caused it. I was laughing bc I had a gut feeling about two guys, dressed in Armani, buying for all employees, overly friendly and pushy. Cops were amazed at my descriptions of the guys, down to color of socks. They matched his little hanky, hanging out of breast pocket. I could even theorize why it happened. New club, down the road, couldn't get customers the right way.
The whole „murderous gang leaving smilie faces somewhere in the area“ seems to me a fixed idea of two bored ex-detectives. The sad thing is that it muddies the waters for cases that are actually suspicious.
for real. Its astonishing people are putting ANY thought into it. Like people aren't going around and like "ooh look here its a white athletic guy who's suuuuper drunk, LETS GO DROWN HIM". White guys, especially DRUNK white guys are fucking stupid and reckless
The truth is the missing men is extremely eerie to me and makes me feel so uneasy. The killers motive isn’t money or robbery, or ransom… just plain murder.
This seem like a lone sexual predator. Throughout this entire video, I haven't heard them checking for sexual assault on these men. I believe these men are kidnapped, kept alive for a period of time while being sexually assaulted. Then killed and disposed of
When my best friend turned 21, my other best friend and I had to have her carried out to the car. She had passed out in the restroom. So we left early, because her well-being was much more important than getting drunk. Never, ever, EVER leave a friend behind!!
I agree however I go out with with my friend, who is not dangerous but my god I have literally carried the plonker out of pubs and I used too worry all the time. Basic stuff like crossing the road, going to watch a band and I am under 9 stone and getting of a train. As a woman he has a good 3 stone on me believe. So now I would rather have a drink at home. Love the guy. We went to Liverpool and I felt like his mum telling a little boy off. I always said be careful in case someone spikes your drink or you fall in a canal. So be safe out there. For real! I’m a 6’2” 200lb man who’s won his fair share of prison yard fights, and yet I chose to cut ties with a couple of “friends” for abandoning me one night when I got black out drunk at a bar. It’s not safe for ANYONE to be out in public alone while extremely intoxicated.

The drug isn’t called GBH, it’s actually called GHB. I used to be an addict & I took GHB in liquid form almost daily (wasn’t my DOC but my friend always had GHB so we took it all the time along with our DOC) & I never once have heard anyone ever call it GBH.
They did this on a recent SVU that might have been inspired by a true story. It worked but of course its TV and cop-paganda, but I'd love to see an attempt at this irl
The first two cases you talked about with the college boys who disappeared and then reappeared in a river months later is crazy because of the Brendan Santo case that’s happening rn. He was missing for months and they just found his body in a river…
Getting drunk at all is a big no for me. I dont see how getting drunk or high is fun.. Rather do soo many other things than that. Been drunk before and I hated it Been high 2x and made me paranoid to the point one of the times I thought my boyfriend laced it and was going to murder me. The other time I thought I was in a coma fighting to either wake up or stay asleep. No thanks. I like control over myself and my thoughts and not go mentally insane.

On one hand, I can see the theory of the smiley face killers... on the other, drownings can easily happen. We had a 17-year-old drown in a frequented lake in my hometown. He wasn't even intoxicated. He was healthy. It happens
Kayelyns death absolutely sounds like an accident with no foul play. My main assumption for kayelyn louder is she was using psychedelic drugs, and perhaps her parents are denying this in the toxicology report due to being in deep denial this could be the reason for her death and wanting a deeper explanation or somewhere else to point direction, like foul play rather than an accident due to someone not being in a stable/ coherent state of mind . Sad to say but unfortunately I don’t believe anyone else was involved in this
As a former waitress in a bar that catered to a university/college crowd I can assure you that if anyone drank more than one or two Long Island Iced Teas I would have taken their keys away. Their perception of the amount of alcohol in each LIIT is grossly understated, five shots of alcohol. The Police need a refresher course, at least the ones handling this case sure do. Poor guy, sounds pretty fishy (no pun intended) to me. RIP
I went to highschool with Kayelyn, the police did not investigate and there is absolutely NO way she drowned on her own and floated to were she was, many areas the water was below the knee or dry in some spots, there are grates over many areas of the river between her home and where she was found. Literally not possible. Also, She was talking to her dog, loads of people talk to their pets.
I feel like her disappearance is supernatural. That 911 phone call with her roommate and you can hear a voice (demon?) In the background but her room mate can't hear it and thinks she's going crazy
@@BOREDANDWELLBORED she was beautiful, intelligent and funny. She was someone who was not disliked by anyone. She spoke with family and her close friends daily and her family is very tight. She had a degree in social work and would likely know she was not feeling herself and would have acknowledged as much or she would likely have discussed it with her mom or fam who she spoke to the day she disappeared. The investigation from the start was passed off as mental illness and an accident because she talked to her dog. She left in the pouring rain barefoot, in shorts and tshirt without her phone, shoes or keys, And was running through the parking lot on video. BUT Because she was seen on video talking to ger dog, had the suspicious 911 calls, and a room mate who def made her look crazy and seemed almost unaffected about her missing room mate to investigators, so early on people had ideas of her being involved but not anything to go on. She came off as standoff ish. There were many searches all along the creek that converges into the jordan river, in the spring its high water but very shallow or dry in areas in the fall. She could not have fallen in near her house died in a cpl feet of water and floated without being seen by hundreds of searchers who searched the creek to the river repeatedly. The autopsy was a joke, and they were lazy. They did very little to try and find her and what happened to her! There have been a number of women that age locally who have gone missing over the years . The family has suffered through so much. Because she talked to her little dog when take it out to use the bathroom, police and randoms basically made her look crazy and her family may never know what happened. @Beautiful Disaster she acted like she was nuts, and came across uncaring and standoff ish and that put a real sour taste in peoples mouth, for a long time the roomate was a suspect to the public . but she is unlikely the person responsible.
@@jenfrisk996 the most idiotic thing the media does is call people off as "crazy". They take things out of context. Her 911 call regarding the wedding was legit, they admitted that they had fireworks and could have been mistaken as gun shots. People know when somebody is trying to kill them, that's called instinct. She knew it ahead of time. I suspect it's somebody very close to her as most murders do. Since she's now dead, it would be nice to know anything about her love life. I had similar experience in the past, and yes it was over a man jealous that I talked to his girl. Somebody she once dated or even a family member isn't far fetched, there's a thin line between love and hate and not everybody is strong enough to control their emotions, unfortunately. The weak are the most dangerous.
All his "friends" just left him alone and unprotected when the saw the condition he was in, sick and totally vulnerable to whatever freak came along. Young people today need to choose your friends very carefully, very carefully. My son was in that position once when he was 18. But thank God he had two very good friends who brought him home to us and stayed while EMT's and cops came and answered the police and EMT questions even though they could have been arrested cause they were all under age. He was close to alcohol toxic and could have died if they had just left him there. I thanked them and hugged them for doing that. The cops were very good about it too. No arrested and drive the boys home, told the m to come back pick up their car the next day after they were totally sober. My son and me and my husband had a very bad night with him being so sick and out of it. If not for his friends things could have gone very badly for my son.
Kaylen most likely fell victim to the seemingly harmless but deadly creeks in a Utah rainstorm. The mountain cities make the water flow quickly downhill. In a rainstorm, a creek you could have waded across the day before will quickly transform into a deadly current that will carry you away. We can speculate all kinds of other ways she got into the river, but “all things being equal, the simplest explanation is the best one.”
I wonder what they meant by "indoor fly"? I've never heard anyone use that term and there are no flies that will colonize a body that are exclusive to inside buildings.

@ or around 20:00 They never heard from the cab driver again? And they just said f*ck it?? ..... Really? Why wouldn't they have called every local cab company, to find out who was scheduled that night to work, and interview all of them?? Or ask their employers if there is any strange behavior with their employees, around the time of this murder? Or if there was anyone who called into work the next day, after the crime?? They literally did NOTHING they were supposed to do! Interviewing people, is step #1 in the 'Cops for Dummies' handbook! Are you kidding me right now??
Cops from Montreal. Don't want paperwork. It's only a few hours. Come back later. No trace of violence, But have severe injuries. Cops didn't want to work the MP 'cause they're male strippers. Saw on camera, but never mentioned taxi # or license plate. They have them in Canada. Nope. Not suspicious at all. Welcome to Quebec.
Montreal pd is kinda notorious for simply not following up with things that seem like they'd be common procedure. They don't seem like they want to do their jobs, half the time.
There are good cops, and there are bad cops. And then there are incompetent cops. Unfortunately being incompetent in some occupations is more dangerous than in others.

In Kaylen's case I'd have to point out it could have been a stress triggerd migraine. I have chronic migraines that are often very debilitating and cause episodes of paranoia and confusion to the point I forget my name. And the cool rain probably felt nice on her head and skin. If it was flooding from the rain, she could have fallen in the creek from a loss of balance and/or partial loss of eyesight. This sounds like something that could very well have happened to me if I did not understand I was having a migraine.
She very well may have had mental health issues and her family was in denial. The fact that she made no sense on the 911 calls and her flat mate noticed her odd behaviour means there was definitely something up. So saying 30 seems old for an initial onset well it may not have been schizophrenia and I have a family member who had a psychotic break in his 40s from stress and was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He had never had a psychotic break before. It took a few years for him to recover fully and go back to normal even though he is still bipolar we just didn’t notice the symptoms. It’s odd when someone is functional they can hide a mental illness quite well until they have a large trigger.
I live in the same condominiums as Kaylynn did. I remember that night and with the rain we had the creek was VERY high. When I heard about her disappearance I remember thinking that she must have fallen in the creek and drowned. And then they found her drowned.
The young lady who made the 911 calls.....you would think the officer would have taken her to crisis.sometimes people just need some help.. That's sad. The officer should have done more what a shame ..
I think it's likely that Kayelyn suffered a psychosis though. An episode doesn't have to be preceded by recorded or observed mental illness or disorder, but can result from stressful situations, drug and/or alcohol use, etc. Besides, there is a starting point to the onset of any psychotic disorder suggested anyway, and maybe that was it?
Everyone knows that The Long Island Iced Tea is infamous for being a deceptively strong drink and several of them is more than enough to land anyone is just that situation.
*FYI: It's very difficult to determine alcohol levels in floating bodies. The interactions between temperature, time, and water characteristics (Ph and pollutants or example), make all measurements very imprecise, at best.*
My son has a friend whose uncle disappeared after being in a bar for a few mins. He decided to walk & disappeared. He was found in the lake near the bar. This was Alexandria, MN & what shocked me was I was sure I'd heard of this same scenario in Alexandria, MN a few years b4! Someone else just walked into the lake & drowned! Come on now! A year later the friend knew nothing about the case. She didn't know if it was closed or still open & she was close to her uncle growing up. They were only a few yrs apart. Even tho she was an adult when this happened, her family wouldn't tell her what was going on. & how can this happen twice & be cowincedental? I want to know what happened to this young man. Were both drunk so fell into the lake? If so that bar or the city better get fence around that dangerous lake, or rock landscape so it's not such a dangerous area for inebriated individuals. 🙀😿😾😷
that is what i thought of too, i bawled my eyes out over the young guy who calls his mum in a state of panic and then turns up drowned, so bloody sad.. andrew i think? but i think he was an accidental drowning, as most of those probably are, and as a mother, i would probably prefer to believe someone had pushed him in rather than him falling in pissed as a newt, only natural, not my son rara, he is far too sensible rara.. a decent pathologist should be able to tell how long a body has been in the water, so for there to be a disparity to how the bodies should have decomposed between the dates of initial disappearance and body retrieval, well, you would hope they would know how long they had actually been in the water, referring to the video shown here.. took me months to forget that manchester guy, thanks for reminding me! not :D
Wow its really important for buddies to stick together when drinking. Good grief, 3 people unrelated saw him in bad shape and did nothing! I would never watch someone in that shape outside and not do something! NO matter if I knew the person or not. You have a responsibility if you drink with others to take care of each other. So everyone fails him and he dies....
Drowning while intoxicated is so common. I have one experience when i was young, me and another friend walked beside the river in our city (which looks very still and not dangerous when you look down at the water from above) and we both fell in the water (intoxicated both of us) and I can say that it was ONLY because we were together that i didn't drown that night. It was SO so fucking close and gave me a whole another respect for water while drunk. The power of the under water stream combined with the cold and the intoxicated state is just pure recipe for disaster. But its good to know that there are a group of mystery killers out there who can stay TOTALLY hidden for 20+ years while the amateur like Bundy, BTK etc. slip up..
This is why I don't think there's a "smiley face killer". Why is it always drunk young men, and never drunk young women? Because women don't pee into rivers and canals when they're drunk. They're drunk, they lose their footing - game over.
I think you can determine drowning based on whether or not there is water in the lungs and volume of water in the lungs. It's unfortunate no reports speak to whether or not this was the case.
There wasn't water in their lungs. That's when they get categorized to these "smiley face killer" victims etc. They literally say that on all those types of videos plus a bunch of other criteria that lumps them together. There's hundreds of videos about it hahaha. But thanks for your completely uneducated comment
@@SparkleAndVeraYT not always because water in the lungs can cause laryngeal spasm. So you end up with very little water in the lungs. Which can also happen if a dead body is put in water.
Why didn't the cops send an ambulance to Kayelyn instead of police? It was obviously what was needed when her roommate got on the line and told them what was up. If I ever see someone acting like this or Elisa Lam I'm calling for paramedics first!
Hello there! I live in Laval city. Regarding the two dancers I've checked a couple articles regarding the situation and just wanted to applause your informations. They are all very accurate. If I might add since they ran in the middle of the night this place is very dark and I wouldn't be surprise if they didn't see how deep it was or where they were. One of the article I found said there was a footage release to the public where you can see the taxi driver going after them in its car. I think anyone being chase down by a car would run for their lives. The coroner who examined their bodies confirmed the fall killed them. No trace of violence were found.
regarding the one with the disappearing drunk collage guys, my first thought was that someone (or multiple people working together) took them, SA'd them and then dumped their bodies in the water. idk if there's evidence to support that theory but if they were held captive to be tortured their bodies would absolutely be really messed up and probably decompose faster bc of open wounds that insects, fish and the like could get into, not to mention birds. they're drunk and with friends which you think would make them harder to take but a group that's already in a crowd and drinking will have a lot of distractions so if the drunk friend wanders off somewhere they'd be pretty easy to take, you could also drug them since that's a common method. then all you have to do is either chat with the drunk so they'll see them as friendly and take them somewhere or get them into a van. with that it would be really easy to just park somewhere, do your horrible crime and just dump their bodies. if the victim still had their valuables that's pretty much the only thing I can think off and what came to mind when the flies were mentioned. and they could do this for pretty long without being caught as long as they're careful. there could also pop up copycats because of media coverage (which isn't uncommon) and spread to other cities. and if this theory has any truth in it them police might not want to come out and say that it was SA bc the victim was a man and a bright kid at that? idk something like that. I could also be very wrong and either way I hope it was quick and painless for those victims, whatever happened to them. regarding louder... to me it looks like an episode or something like that. even if her family said that they've never seen symptoms of any mental illness there could definitely be things that they missed or things she kept well hidden enough for nobody to think about it. I've heard of some drug use triggering mental illnesses that otherwise wouldn't be obvious but I'm no expert so idk. and while anyone could drown even in a puddle she seemed to have enough mobility to be able to get her face out of water. but I also don't know if the roomate is trustworthy and the cops could've done a bad job, it wouldn't be the first time. so if she called 911 what she said could've been true in some way. idk but to me it looks like she's having an episode or she snapped and had a breakdown, people can do really weird things when they snap that they wouldn't otherwise do.
I would suggest stop going to clubs getting drunk then attempting to walk to their destinations alone, i wondered why no-one thought of calling a uber or taking a cab but also I've never understood why some people feel they need to get drunk to have a good time especially the way people and the world are today but to each his own.
"Containing only a small amount of tequila and vodka" - get your facts straight. Long Island is one of the strongest cocktails, if not the strongest, containing 5 different types of alcohol in it. Having 2-5 will have almost anyone shitfaced.
McNeail is literally one of hundreds gone missing under these weird circumstances...it's beyond ridiculous to think that all these guys "accidentally drowned"
Strange disappearances and "drownings" have been happening all over Wisconsin and mn college river towns... there are many cases in eau claire and lacrosse, wi as well as Winona, mm.. it's scary!!!
Wisconsin is an alcohol culture. Totally encouraged to over indulge, it's even a badge of honor. I grew up there and miss it. But not the mentality around fellow young men and alcohol, it's poison.
I'm texting this post on a boat in Long Island Sound, the Long Island Iced Teas you get up here in Long Island, you would never make it to drink more than 2 of them, rocket fuel
the family decided to sue them for 20m because he was drinking there without restriction from the bartender? hold on , Patrick and his friend decided to drop at the bar for? playing piano? soccer? the moment they step inside the bar they knew they're gonna have a drink so the family shouldn't blame the bar but instead their own self for letting their son/daughter to even drink while being a minor. wtf parent.
Many people have trouble accepting the death of a loved one under unknown circumstances, and tend to gravitate toward conspiracy theories. But most of these deaths occur by unfortunate circumstances rather than some evil intent. The trick is to recognize the difference.
In the beginning, you mentioned that an unknown car was following Patrick but you never ruled anything about that car. Was that car somehow related to his disappearance?
This is old, but Kayelyn is the exact age that is most common for a schizophrenia symptoms to appear in woman. Unfortunately people think its late teens/early 20s as that's when men often start to display symptoms. Woman typically do not experience symptoms until late 20s/early 30s.
Some kid drowned face down in a small creek at App State in North Carolina when I went there in 2012. No real explanation for it except he was out drinking. Sounds eerily similar to what you were talking about in this video and I never heard about it before
With the case of Kailyn Lowry... She's 30. In females that's a typical age when schizophrenia begins. Even though "just hours before" she seemed normal, schizophrenia can come in severe bouts. For females, it typically sets in late-twenties, so it's possible there was a delayed on-set in her case. And as others have said, just because she was over the normal age, everyone is different and onset of mental disorders such as that can happen at any time.
I suffer severe depression and I hate the term “mental illness” I’d rather be classed as suffering severe depression..and yes, because of the stigma attached, I said to my other half that when I’m gone,if it’s ever mentioned, I’d rather suffer “depression “ I’ve had people think I’m imagining stuff if I’m concerned about something, I can’t have a rant, because then I’m having an “episode “ it’s awful.. I can relate. I read a book by Louise L. Hay once called ”You can heal your life”. she had some great quotes. One that really stuck with me is ”Its only a thought, and thoughts can be changed.” restructuring how we identify, and what thoughts we entertain really seems to help. I noticed when I think positively I feel good. If I'm not feeling good, I pause to examine what thoughts are consciously or subconsciously going through my mind. I hope this helps encourage you, and you feel better every day! 😊
I built my own fully operational bar on my back porch. I go any time I want, choose my company, and never have to deal with any shit. Best decision I ever made.
22:08 As a Canadian who lives in Ontario, but near Montreal, Quebec, I can agree with that it sounds like the investigation was not thorough as should have been. There could have been some bias against American male strippers for men by the Montreal police; unfortunately because of their French catholic roots.

Well that and the GBH (did she mean GHB?)

Absolutely!
Yes!
I mean even if you stick together you might still get killed like the two that were in the quarry
The whole „murderous gang leaving smilie faces somewhere in the area“ seems to me a fixed idea of two bored ex-detectives. The sad thing is that it muddies the waters for cases that are actually suspicious.
exactly, they are profiting from the families putting these ideas in their head
My thoughts exactly, sure there seems to be a pattern but chalking it up to a supposed jealous gang using the most easy to draw graffiti is absurd.
Hi Betty how are you doing?
I agree however I go out with with my friend, who is not dangerous but my god I have literally carried the plonker out of pubs and I used too worry all the time. Basic stuff like crossing the road, going to watch a band and I am under 9 stone and getting of a train. As a woman he has a good 3 stone on me believe. So now I would rather have a drink at home. Love the guy. We went to Liverpool and I felt like his mum telling a little boy off. I always said be careful in case someone spikes your drink or you fall in a canal. So be safe out there. Lecture over 😂😂❤❤
Garunteed you left your drunk friend....you feel guilty explains the huge explanation comment lol....nope you're just a shit friend lmfao!
Apparently investigators don't know much about long Island ice tea. It's all alcohol with a splash of sour mix and coke for color.
5 shots
That’s exactly what I was thinking 💭
This! I heard that and said WTF? A Long Island will fuck you up good. Someone does not know what a LIIT is.
My immediate thought lol long islands taste good and are full of alcohol. You're getting fairly drunk after just 2.
@@sabrefreeeek not always 5, but at the very least 4. Never only 2. Now...they are 1/2 ounce shots if they are being made correctly (been bartending for 12 years, and that's the standard for a LIT). Not full 1-1 1/2 ounce shots like a standard shot would be. But still...2-3oz of mixed liquor per drink is a HELL OF A LOT of alcohol, especially if you're not a heavy drinker.
"Only had 2 to 6 long island iced teas" long island iced teas are in the top 6 most potent mixed drinks. Idk about anywhere else but most bars I've been to won't serve you more than 2 maybe 3 bc of how strong they are
They're so stout. I'm a 230 pd 6 1 seasoned drinker and 6 LITs would knock me on my Ass!
Yes, they are strong. I used to drink them. They go down smooth but will put you under the table.
Onevwill knock u on ur ass!!
Powerful drink to me even more powerful than a rusty nail
Same..here in Alaska the limit is two Long Island teas...apparently the police didn't do a good job
It’s hard enough to lose someone. I can’t imagine losing one of my children & not knowing exactly what had happened! My heart goes out to the family members & friends of the deceased.
I know the long island ice teas I had in my twenties had at least 6 different shots of alcohol in them. I only needed one!
Exactly! When she said he had FIVE I was like whoa!!!
Yeah It’s vodka, tequila, gin, rum and cointreau. So drinking FIVE I would be on the floor🤣 shit faced!
Me too!! 3 and i was WASTED!!!🤪🤣😄
between 2&5🤣🤣
Exactly. 3 Long Islands is a good amount of alcohol.
The drug isn’t called GBH, it’s actually called GHB. I used to be an addict & I took GHB in liquid form almost daily (wasn’t my DOC but my friend always had GHB so we took it all the time along with our DOC) & I never once have heard anyone ever call it GBH.
Crazy
Since when does a long island iced tea only contain a small amount of tequila and vodka?! It's all liquor with a splash of pop.
Plus gin and rum.
Why don’t they just have a young man pretend to be intoxicated and wire him as well as follow him waiting to see who takes him?
Right.
They did this on a recent SVU that might have been inspired by a true story. It worked but of course its TV and cop-paganda, but I'd love to see an attempt at this irl
Good idea
“It would cost Too much money” would be the answer im assuming law enforcement would give.
Oooo I like this idea
The first two cases you talked about with the college boys who disappeared and then reappeared in a river months later is crazy because of the Brendan Santo case that’s happening rn. He was missing for months and they just found his body in a river…

Agreed!
Getting drunk at all is a big no for me. I dont see how getting drunk or high is fun..
Rather do soo many other things than that.

Been high 2x and made me paranoid to the point one of the times I thought my boyfriend laced it and was going to murder me. The other time I thought I was in a coma fighting to either wake up or stay asleep.

RIP
The not knowing is the worst 🥺
Actually atheists loves not knowing
@@BOREDANDWELLBORED we know science
A tragedy for this beautiful human!
The outside video is very scary why was she in the rain acting completely crazy and where was she running to?.
Hi Julianna how are you doing?
I wonder what they meant by "indoor fly"? I've never heard anyone use that term and there are no flies that will colonize a body that are exclusive to inside buildings.
I went to NYC in 2011 on my own(from England). I was 24 and I stayed in a hostel. The first night I was there, a group of middle aged men that I'd just met started chatting to me and I ended up walking a few blocks with them to a shisha bar. I left after an hour and walked back alone. Im now 33 and I can't believe I was so niave

Dani Kat: I agree I also think the world was very different place then... my friend and I went back packing for three months when we were in our late 20s from Thailand to Egypt to Europe, many time we were drunk and even slept (or not) on the streets or outside of bus/train-stations even across from hotels etc (travelling was VERY VERY expensive then) now 20yrs later I would NEVER allow my 20yr old nephew (or anyone I know for that matter ) to do that now.... not in this day & age!!!!
That is very dangerous!!
I once got a ride home from 4 guys I had just met while I was extremely drunk...good lord Im lucky to be alive
Hi TerminallyElle how are you doing?

They never heard from the cab driver again? And they just said f*ck it?? ..... Really?
Why wouldn't they have called every local cab company, to find out who was scheduled that night to work, and interview all of them?? Or ask their employers if there is any strange behavior with their employees, around the time of this murder? Or if there was anyone who called into work the next day, after the crime?? They literally did NOTHING they were supposed to do! Interviewing people, is step #1 in the 'Cops for Dummies' handbook! Are you kidding me right now??
I don’t know any details of the Montreal police budget but I imagine insufficient resources come into play at times like these

"Small amount of vodka and tequila".
I had one, or one and a half and I felt like I was dying a few hours later. I thought I had alcohol poisoning or something. Never again!
I'm here to comment on the amount of alcohol in a LIT. Thankfully, I see that's been taken care of..

Long Islands have a ton of alcohol in them so 5 would get you trashed. And its GHB not GBH
vodka and tequila? a little? wtf is wrong with them! long islands have dark and light alcohol the worst cocktail you can get!
@@MrMarco855 if that is so why don't you tell the police, hmmm.?

The young lady who made the 911 calls.....you would think the officer would have taken her to crisis.sometimes people just need some help.. That's sad. The officer should have done more what a shame ..
I think it's likely that Kayelyn suffered a psychosis though. An episode doesn't have to be preceded by recorded or observed mental illness or disorder, but can result from stressful situations, drug and/or alcohol use, etc. Besides, there is a starting point to the onset of any psychotic disorder suggested anyway, and maybe that was it?
Oh yeah! Another great video from my favourite channel

Everyone knows that The Long Island Iced Tea is infamous for being a deceptively strong drink and several of them is more than enough to land anyone is just that situation.
Usually bartenders will only serve you a few of them. It's a strong drink so bartenders are trained to check on their customers after serving a lit.

I don't get grossed out easily, and trust me, I love animals, but that's disturbing.
*FYI: It's very difficult to determine alcohol levels in floating bodies. The interactions between temperature, time, and water characteristics (Ph and pollutants or example), make all measurements very imprecise, at best.*

Hi Ashley how are you doing?
you should cover some of the cases on the manchester waterway killings in the uk . They have huge similarities to what you covered in this video
that is what i thought of too, i bawled my eyes out over the young guy who calls his mum in a state of panic and then turns up drowned, so bloody sad.. andrew i think? but i think he was an accidental drowning, as most of those probably are, and as a mother, i would probably prefer to believe someone had pushed him in rather than him falling in pissed as a newt, only natural, not my son rara, he is far too sensible rara.. a decent pathologist should be able to tell how long a body has been in the water, so for there to be a disparity to how the bodies should have decomposed between the dates of initial disappearance and body retrieval, well, you would hope they would know how long they had actually been in the water, referring to the video shown here.. took me months to forget that manchester guy, thanks for reminding me! not :D
Its so frustrating that there have been hundreds of victims of the smiley killers and yet its not enough evidence to figure it out thats infuriating
Thanks for this voice of reason.
What about, with Kayelyn Louder and Brian, natural stuff, like rare plants which may cause psychosis or appearing drunk?
Was there water in his lungs?
If not, he didn't drown.

I would suggest stop going to clubs getting drunk then attempting to walk to their destinations alone, i wondered why no-one thought of calling a uber or taking a cab but also I've never understood why some people feel they need to get drunk to have a good time especially the way people and the world are today but to each his own.

This is old, but Kayelyn is the exact age that is most common for a schizophrenia symptoms to appear in woman. Unfortunately people think its late teens/early 20s as that's when men often start to display symptoms. Woman typically do not experience symptoms until late 20s/early 30s.

I do have a brain, and I do think rationally, just because I suffer, doesn’t mean everything I say or do is connected to my depression.. anyway, interesting video, sad. Thx ewu 🙋♀️

Being found face up in water is a sign of the body not having water in the lungs. Individuals whom drown are often found face down in the water.

I built my own fully operational bar on my back porch. I go any time I want, choose my company, and never have to deal with any shit. Best decision I ever made.

I think the killer cab theory is the best one. It's not the first time it's happened.
22:08 As a Canadian who lives in Ontario, but near Montreal, Quebec, I can agree with that it sounds like the investigation was not thorough as should have been. There could have been some bias against American male strippers for men by the Montreal police; unfortunately because of their French catholic roots.
Where is the unexpected twist in any of these stories?
