Timmy, Just remember that fortune favors the bold, many of us have been in your spot financially before and sometimes it’s hard to see past it, but you will look back on it and have learnt something or laugh about it. Keep pushing forward mate, you have a shit tonne of supporters right behind you wanting and willing to see and help you succeed. My 94yo neighbor Bob, has a classic saying that I absolutely love and it’s “good things happen to good people, everyday” , and you Timmy are a good person. Regards Anthony.
Man I really appreciate you for being so open and talking about money. You didn’t need to, many think it’s taboo but you did and it makes us all realise we all can be in the same positions. Anyway love your work man. Happy days.
Long time subscriber. Appreciate the honesty Timmy, I don't admire your situation but you've now got one heck of a boat to continue making content with! Just need regular uploads now to keep the views coming in.
Happy to see you back in the water Timmy. Seems like lots of work ahead but youve got the hardest behind you mate. Keep posting and we will be here cheering and supporting you as you come back.. 💪🤙
You’re a dead set bloody legend, for just having the will and drive for making it happen! Take your time and nut out a proper fix for your roof, cause it’s soooo good
Timmy it makes me sad to hear that you’ve only pulled $60 000 in 6 years, bc your my favourite fishing RUclipsr, so relatable and you have a wicked sense of humour. Best of luck on this next venture. I hope your health improves and the stress decreases.
You don’t have to worry to much Timmy the boys have got you. Just keeping putting the vids and we will be here to support you every step of the way ❤❤❤
I met a bloke the other day, around 60 at a guess? Nothing to his name but a boat and a Ute. One of the happier dudes I’ve ever come across, I knew this build was not gonna be all ‘free’ and that you’d still have considerable money in it but there’s light mate. Keep your chin up!! I love that it’s the same attitude and reaction to fish as that humble piece of ply floating around the canals.
I've watched most of your work on the boat and to be honest I didn't really feel like subscribing the first couple videos until this one... being an honest man myself I admire someone who tells it like it is weather its good bad or indifferent, so with that said I have subscribed now and look forward to more content!! Keep your head up mate! Much love from the coast of Maine USA 🤙🤙
Just a thought about the top. It is a lot of leverage for a single leg,. an extra brace on the back in the form of another post on each side and a rubber gasket on each mounting where it bolts onto the boat to cushion the vibration. George would know a lot more than me but I've built a few things and it looks like a great top but too much for a single on each side.
Gday Timmy Seen a similar canopy made in stainless and it was welded over and over , the old canvas pop up is a good solution Love the boat mate it’s epic
It's exciting to have you back Timmy and see some fish out of Georges great craftsmanship work. I wonder if you went single skin just with ribs on the bimimi top to help reduce weight..... Look forward to your next video
Dont you stop timmy mate keep smashing along. Have loved the build series and george is a beauty too. Confident that this will be a bullet proof boat. Start a gofundme id be happy to put some dollars towards the cause
Hey Timmy I'm going thru something very similar mate atm. Trying to steam forward but the bank balance says other things really hard to do things with low funds. At least you got what sounds to be great sponsors hopefully one day we'll both get there just gotta keep believing and striving. Thanks for sharing your life mate really gave me another boost yo keep moving forward
Mate get a targa top with a waterproof fabric roof instead. Best of both worlds, low weight, rain top, lights up top. But yeah repeated stress will crack ally easily. Edit: After actually watching the whole vid, Georges idea of extra reinforcement looks great.
Hey mate, maybe you could put some fold away support poles on the T-top. Just the poles and mounts used for a bimini. Set them down when travelling then fold away and secure to the t-top when fishing
Good to see you're back mate. You need to smack up some dates of where you will be next year in order for some of us to throw some money at you when you fill up.
just wondering have you considered using guy wires with springs to move the stress from the roof to the gunnels? Also a mast above the roof gives you a top down camera point?
I did wonder when you were building it if it would b strong enuf sideways Ive had 30 years of boat repairs mostly crab boats and what iv leaned is if you are wondering if its strong enuf then it wont be
Not sure if getting such a big boat was the way to go as it demands many things to support it and one of those as u put it is fuel. Your tow vehicle is also going to need to be in tip top condition. But the potential is huge and im sure u will make it all worthwhile once u pass your financial obstacles. As for the roof George seems to know what he is doing and i would keep it on lets see how it goes with the mod he mentioned at the end. Once u get into using the whole boat to its full potential u wont regret 1 second or 1 dollar of it all. Neither will we!!! Good luck mate and keep striving!!! Cheers🤙
Mate chuck a go fund me up to get some fuel in the tank and get ahead. There’s a bunch of people that would be happy to chuck you a $20 and it adds up quick
Interested in a marine trimmer in brisbane to help me design some clears for a centre console. Would love to see some storm clears and camping tarp set up on your boat so if you find a sponsor that does good work I'll be supporting them
Pretty sure that your roof needs more support in the back to lighting of the pressure in the T section.due to the pressure from the wind and other pressure is a lot for a t assembly. Hope it's makes sense 👌 soooo Timmy always been a fan of yours really enjoyed all your vids and everything. Your gonna make it no doubt Timmy
I thought I seen the boat in town(glady). You should let us know when you’re back in town, I’d like to have a closer look at the boat as I’m thinking of getting one built. Oh and do you have a patreon? So us viewers can help out. 👍🏼
@@FishingWithTimmyTurtle Heaps are doing it Timmy. It's not charity, it;s the new way of the world. If you've got the coin you can give back with content. It's up to the punters. Nothin ventured nothin gained.
Hang in there Tim , rather than boxing the side frames why not do a Cnc cut 12 mm thick frame then put 100x 10 h iron style around it , bolts top and bottom the welds won’t be on the edges then ,shouldn’t cost too much either Good luck
@@FishingWithTimmyTurtle wow that like our Amber Jacks here in the Bahamas. They are Ciguatera riddled. On a few islands you can eat them. But most of the time it's no takes.
Hey brother you have come a long way from when you 1st started from getting your 1st jack. If your back up airlie, you will have to let me know catch up I live in town
Roofs too heavy mate, it’s essentially like having another bloke in the boat. Go with a simple lighter design, it will make the tub more stable and reduce the risk of more dramas. FYI I’m a Marine mechanical fitter, marine engineer and commercial skipper. Congrats on the boat.
I want to buy a Timmy turtle t-shirt that captures an immortal moment of George punching a dart while laying a perfect bead, eyes closed, no mask.
Poetry eh
Haha

Keep at it mate it’ll all come together soon. Good to see the boat out in action and in typical George fashion he’ll make it better than ever!

Liked before watching, love you Timmy! ♥️
George will fix it! Cos Thats what Georges do👍👌
Look forward to the new uploads! boat is looking sweet!
Can I get a thumbs up from everyone that acknowledged the evolution of Timmy. From a dinky diy raft to a pro fishing gun?
As usual George is right, a screen would be good for the really rough days and through rain. Also it will make the roof solid as.
Nice job mate keep pushing you will get there

I recommend 2 poles near rear mounting the roof to the hull
sucks to see it cracking already, hopefully its just a flex issue with the design
Add a single extra leaf from another spring, or run some 2 ton torsion axles, should take care of your trailer sandwiching
The most challenging part is believing in yourself when your bank balance isn’t there. I know exactly where your coming from.
Love the video’s bro ❤
Brace it side ways Post to post with a few bars, good to hang onto when its rough and good for drying clothes on long camping trips
Killing it man👍🙌💪👍🍻
Keep it coming 💪💪
Mate, you need to save up for some weeties to go with that sweet boat. I can't afford fuel for my 4.3 m tinny with 30hp merc. Feel your pain.
I've been waiting for this video yewww
Boat = Bust Out Another Thousand. lol Hang in there. Keep up the good work!
Boats are a really bad idea if you’re broke.
what's the reel ur running...? Certate sw 14000? Sick boat by the my bro🤙🤙🤙, safer than floating on pipes, wat a legend..

hey love the video mate. Are those Chinaman Edible???? Ive always wondered that
In Western Australia I think you can. Over on the east coast. High levels of Ciguatera so no take species

Sunday roast dinner and watching Timmy Turtle 🐢 doesn't get any Aussie than that
How much would a boat like this cost in total? Materials, George's second to none labour, motor etc.
Timmy vs the taxman what a great battle

Congrats on the boat.
You need to go out with brooksy, he will look after you. Top bloke
