Hondo can you do an analysis of what a normal rate is for missing games due to injury for running back. Josh jacobs has a 85% availability rate when with the raiders . You keep saying he wasn’t available but aside from end of last season and holding out for money I always envisioned him as available

For us long-suffering Raider fans, how long has it been since we weren't totally worried about our defense? We're now at a place where we're nitpicking and cautiously optimistic that the team will be in the playoffs on the back of a potentially great defense. How times have changed.
It's about time I hate teams with poor defenses that was always my favorite thing about those great Raider teams iv'e been a fan since 72. Those early 2000s teams had a really good defense, not mid 70s to late 80s great but really good.

Hondo doesn't read these comments but he will respond to emails if you only send one a week and ask a question that a bunch of other emails asked. But he also is big on respecting other people's privacy. If anything he'd refer you to ask Matty on his own social media. But I doubt he'd even do that.

It’s pretty obvious to me he made light of Zeke’s appearance to take the focus off of Matt’s.. his job is to share information that is relevant to the followers / readers / listeners - I would say it’s neglectful to have a large portion viewers being concerned about said point and in response have a ‘red herring’ presented to redirect audience attention I like Hondo .. I don’t care for manipulations in framing with the intent to deceive, it signals a superiority complex but I can understand how these things are useful tools to build a career in capitalism .. which is personified by his profession
Hey, one of these episodes why don’t you compare the Raiders players at positions like defensive line offensive line, linebackers, quarterback, etc., against the Chiefs and see how they stackup this year? I’m kind of curious on where our players are compared to their players.
I would argue our roster is better the problem is we don't have Mahomes and especially Andy Reed crafting our offense he has a lot to do with their success. Their coaching staff is great and hopefully ours will at least be in the ballpark.

The dude at the gym complained loudly about this other old fit guy taking business calls at the gym .. I am not a fan of loud talkers at the gym in both contexts, people ought to be pulling in the same direction especially when that’s the point of the place

Hondo could have shown him the respect he deserved for the rushing title and instead said gave his respects to the ‘oline and system’ .. Josh sure let the team down last year. Got paid big$$$ and came into camp out of shape. He let the team down. I believe that a lot of our lack of running production early in the year was because Josh was out of shape. It was a blessing that Zamir got to play at the end of the season

Josh bulked up to much and lost some explosiveness which combined with Jimmy’s flaccid arm and the turnstile Oline was a perfect storm .. had Josh worked all offseason with the Oline and we started O’Connell from day 1 it would have been a different story
I don’t mind Zeke having an emotional connection to linebackers - but it started as a draft projection where he was saying the raiders should draft a linebacker in the First round, at that point he was just speculating wrong and than it turned into he’s the linebacker guy 🤷 I had Jack Campbell and Van Ness as top Dudes to target in last year’s draft and was hoping to trade back to possibly get both .. yet it was great to see Robert step it up .. and Tyree showed nfl potential later in the year

I feel it’s still worth a mid first round pick and as did the Lions whom have a linebacker head coach .. nobody would say no to Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Luke Kuechly types in the first so it still depends on the player makeup despite positional value

Hard to justify picking a LB in round 1. Too many other positions have more value on the modern game
