Always liked Malkins game better. Same with Mackinnons they are big, physical, and powerful. Can’t stand a hockey player who shys away from contact. That tip in goal by Crosby was absurd tho I’ve never seen someone tip it in from that angle.
@V3rnSqwd5611 respectfully I think you need to watch more of Sidney Crosby. he isn't going around hitting people like ovechkin, but he doesn't "shy away from contact". next time you watch him, look at how he forechecks on the offensive end of the ice. anytime he or one of his linemates dump the puck sid is always in the defenders face putting a body on him. not to mention his game revolves around getting down low below the goal line and making plays, that's where the majority of contact happens.
This is why many consider Crosby to be top 5 all time. When he dominates a game it isn't just the 4 points he put up. He was battling in his corners, their corners, laying hits, stripping pucks in the neutral zone, getting shots, passes. Doing everything a superstar does and much more. Yet he seems to be the only player who wants to win, everyone was just cruising around after the first.
Well said. He never cheats the game and plays it the right way. And hes so god damn good at it. The most complete player in hockey. You can evidently see where Mackinnon gets his motivation from. Love seeing great players feed off one another.

Mackinnon is a beast, and one of the current best in the league no doubt. Though the year he won a cup he even didn't lead his team in regular season pts, and more importantly, finished 3rd on the team in playoff production behind Makar and Rantanen, and 3rd in +- behind Landeskog and Byram. This is one example of how hockey is a team sport with additional emphasis on goaltending and solid defensive teamplay in the playoffs. Even a beast like Mackinnon can't singlehandedly carry a team to a Stanley cup W. Number of cups isn't the most reliable metric, though worth considering to some extent imo. Pretty pathetic comment. You want an "if" statement? How about IF the Knights even get into the playoffs as the knights could still flail and not make the post season. Regardless of that, if the AVS and Knights do meet up in the post season, the Knights are going to have to dig deep to make it out of that round. weird take, since he literally just tied Gretzky for the only player ever to have 2 separate 18+ game point streaks in NHL history, and moved past Gretzky for second longest home point streak to start a year of all time, and has a chance to beat Gretzky's single season record... anytime you are beating single season records held by 99 you are making NHL history
@@ErinGnarkill I see we have someone sucking the teet of next man up... you are an L dude
Kuch is so underrated :/
I love Mack as a player, grew up liking the Avs as my 2nd fave team. Forsberg, Sakic days. I just couldn't stand it anymore, their fanbase is so spoiled and entitled. And tbh got kind of toxic if you wanted to just engage as an outsider
As an Avs fan that sucks to hear, I started going to games when I was 12 in 2007, right when the rebuild started, Avs stunk for a good 10 years there and a lot of fans didn’t exist until a couple years ago when we became a contender. Don’t listen to the trolls!
There's always a very vocal minority.
If they can get past Vegas and win the cup then you can talk up MacKinnon.
Pretty pathetic comment. You want an "if" statement? How about IF the Knights even get into the playoffs as the knights could still flail and not make the post season. Regardless of that, if the AVS and Knights do meet up in the post season, the Knights are going to have to dig deep to make it out of that round. AVS will clean their clocks the way they are playing right now.
How many Cups does McDavid have? 0. Always has, always will. MacKinnon owns him.
Vegas better worry about St. Louis and not the Avalanche, because Vegas might miss the playoffs if they aren't careful
@@ErinGnarkill Vegas is coming after your team
and no one is watching them 🤣
Not even the top point scorer
Not that hard when you're facing off against the most inconsistently shit ass team this league has - The Shittsburgh Penguins.
