So, I bought one of these. It’s pretty. Yes, it’s stiff. If I connect early, there is no pain. If you muscle it because of poor prep, it will punish. This thing is a total cannon!!! That’s good and bad. It will create highlight reel shots, but I miss more than the lower is worth. My biggest gripe is that it doesn’t shape serves like a true players’ stick.
In Europe (TW-E) it's about a third more expensive compared to the regular Pure Drive. I doubt that many people will pay almost €100 more for just this paintjob... I sure won't!
The most selling racquet and people still saying it's the n.1 in causing tennis elbow. Off course, it's the most used racket! Anyone could cause tennis elbow.
If you're not fit and look like you sit at a desk for living or worse in your 30's and above you should def use rf95 strung at 56lbs like the pros and/or put lead tape to 'customize' your racquet and play at 3.5 4.0 level and then blame the racquet when you get tennis elbow. Keep arming those shots... what's an energy chain.??
@@trex1448 Well, the main target group for this "near-Granny-stick" is the late beginner with odd swing paths and low energy output. That's the whole point of power racquets. So having bad technique and low fitness level is where the PD is at home. No wonder it creates problems.
The best looking pure drive is the Wimbledon special edition
I agree, unfortunately not available in my country
saw this in real life, the paint quality is on another level, very pretty racquet!

Rob spoils the video.. negative as hell
What’s the issue with babolat changing grommets? Didn’t know about that
There is no issue
Would you happen to know where I can find the HK Open Tee? I'd love to get my hands on one. 😊

30 years of causing tennis elbow and wrist pain!
Combine the Pure Drive with Wilson Trinity balls, doctors will love it (lots of customers).
...for people with bad technique
If you string your racquet at 55lbs with a mono and with lead on it then yeah

Silver Anniversary. Probably silver stipe
Should be glossy paint. Sick of all the matt paint. This guy talks too much, loves the sound of his own voice. Tennis Nerd guy is much better
