A sink or any wash basin should need a trap - bottle trap, s trap, p trap any model & installed by a qualified plumber to avoid foul odor . Placing sink below window won't have any effect on the odor coming through the sink. Also pls dont just be vague on those topics that you are dealing in your videos. A kitchen needs a work triangle - cooking point, work table, sink should be placed like a triangle so that the person can reach all three from a single point. There are anthropometry standards which any one can follow to design a better kitchen. Consult a professional for a professional work.
