Oz didnt keep his promise to his mom. She asked him to end her life if she ever became a vegetable. She didnt want to live that way. Love you guys' reaction!!!
He kept the promise he wanted to give her because it's about him but not the one which gives her relief because he doesn't want to give up anything including her.
Vegetable?? He didn't technically break his promise. He promised her, he'd kill her if she ever lost her mind Her being a Vegetable wasn't part of the agreement
@@SutekhDaSteemroller Weirdly, his little rant with her at the end there felt very much like he was projecting... He might be feeling an ounce of remorse over what he did to his brothers...
Fun fact, those cigar clippers were from when she and Salvatore went to Oz’s place. She took them with her before she left and it came full circle for the mom
Hollywood take notes: a VILLAIN should always stay a VILLAIN. They can have nice attributes such as being smart, charismatic, funny, etc. but they should always still be bad at their core. This series was a masterpiece in showing that and although I absolutely hated the way that Vic died it displayed the true selfishness and sociopathic nature that Oz had since childhood. I can’t WAIT to see Batman kick his azz lol
I already watched the episode, but I was just still waiting on y'all so I could see both of y'all jaws drop! Quickly becoming my favorite reactors,THX!!
Oz’s brothers drowned - they died gasping for air. He killed them by not taking action and letting them free. This time Oz took action and like his brothers Vic died suffocating gasping for breathe but by Oz’s bare hands.
i don't really watch reaction channels with low views (idk why) but i mess with yalls vibe heavy, looking forward to reacting to more stuff with you guyz! lol
I totally did not expect this kind of ending for Vic. I consider that he was not going to continue with the penguin, but I thought that he would have left Gotham and hook back up with his girl with some money that he’s been making or grab while he was doing the stuff he was doing with the penguin. it would just been Vic without warning or telling oz that he was no longer going to be there for him because he was fed up with it all just did not show up but Oz depose of Vic like trash and to take the bit change he had from his wallet was the nail and discard his ID so there can be no connection back with him (everyone knew Vic was his side kick) But like reality. Vic got into it too deep and stayed longer than he should. Vic was the only one to tie him to all those crime, Oz got a clean slate and a new lifestyle that Vic would not fit into. Goons are a dime a dozen and easily deposable.
He killed Vic because he was his last weakness. He actually cared about VIc and felt keeping him made himself valuable, but also he was the only person not in prison knows all the bad things he done to reach to the to, so he was a lose end. Cold ass writing making you in the last moments of the show not confuse Oswald as anti-hero, but a full psychopathic villain.
I disagree. Vic is not the only one that knows what Oz did. The underlings from the Gold summit are alive and knew he killed Alberto, stole Sofia’s product Bliss and operated the underground drug trade in Crowne Point. I don’t think Vic was his last “weakness” since he kept his momma alive.
Oz is a piece of shit Sophia wanted to be free and leave - he puts her in Arkham Mom wanted to die- keeps her alive Vic wanted to live - he kills him the absolute worst kind of human filth
Oz killed Vic because he cared for him. That means someone can use Vic to hurt him in the future just like what Sofia did with his mom. So Oz needed to take Vic out so that could never happen. Also, Oz took Vic’s money so that when the cops find his body they would think it was just a random mugger that killed him.
Yup, also, they won't be able to indentify Vic so he'll be another nameless death in Gotham, which is why I think Penguin tells him "it wasnt for nothing." Cause he died a nobody in the end and he did this to make something of himself. Sad on so many levels.
Oz didn't set up sofia that was vic and the other one who worked mr zhao..one of the critical times that vic saved one..i hate what he did to vic killing him and making sure he is a nobody by throwing away his ID. Then he also left the mum in a vegetable state something she didn't want.. showing he only did what he wanted didn't care about the wishes of the people he claimed he loved... and putting sofia in Arkham was cruel,it was worse than death.😢😢
Remember how Francis asked Oz to kill her if she ended up 'a vegetable'? Now that she admitted that she's always known what he did, that she's _always_ hated him since he killed Jack and Benny, that penthouse set up isn't a glorious "Look ma, I've given you everything you wanted" - it's a "I know what you _actually_ want and I'm not giving it to you - because you hurt _me_ ". He's a narcissistic psychopath, who doesn't care about anyone else - not even his mum.
This show gave me so much anxiety it felt like rewatching sons of anarchy, game of thrones with the twists . Everyone on this show deserves a award. Apparently the writer of the show is female so give the lady her recognition. Bring on 4 more seasons if it's this good
Here’s the thing Vic and Link set Sofia up not Oz. Vic brought Linc in. He’s not really that good of a long term planner. He is a great “think of on his feet planner”. Vic is the one that cleaned up all his screwups all season long. Part of the reason he killed him was jealousy. But also because he just couldn’t handle someone who’d seen him a his lowest.
I agree,it was jealousy because Vic is a quick thicker who saved oz at every turn. If given a few years people would have followed him and oz never wants to share the spotlight or love..
Victor was the heart of this show, by doing what he did, he shows he's an absolute monster. I mean we can't go into, say, a Batman movie thinking he's redeemable. Also, what he did to his mom is the perfect revenge for trying to kill him TWICE even though he loves her. Also, did you catch the thing about Julian? He's not real. Confirmed. He's a figment of Sofia's imagination. That's why he seems to change places and motivations and actions without any logic.
I feel like that sort of makes sense, but how do you explain his interactions with everyone? Like how he was the one that was about to cut Fran's finger off? Or Fran seeing and hearing him during the "hypnosis"?
Wow! What a hell of an episode. I was wondering how Penguin would get through all this. Wonder what Sofia is going to deal with and that Julian guy seems to be back to how he was before 🤔 I wonder about him. I was also wondering if Selina and Sofia would connect somehow so the letter was cool to see. Oswald Cobb is TRULY something else. I absolutely hate how dirty Victor was done. The one truly loyal and clutch character, he really did deserve better than that. I can't believe he's gone, but Oz let Eve live who's now dressed as his ma 🤦🏻♂️ Even his mom is trapped in her own body while looking at that view she always wanted. This series was tremendous and I really want to see what this Batman sequel will bring and how it will tie things together.
Everyone "knew" Vic wad going to die, most thought it would be at Oz' hands, the reason why everyone is surprised is because they want to believe there is humanity left... You can't be the same person who doesn't believe in Penguins humanity, yet believes in Vaders! That would just be your ego talking... So this works so well because it's playing on people's humanity.
I feel so bad for his mom. She finally made peace with telling Oz everything she was holding in for all those years and was finally ready to go and be with her sons, just to be woken up and kept alive in this hell she was trying to escape. Now she's trapped inside of her own body with no way of getting out. This show was so beautifully crafted!!!

Letting Sophia live is worse than death, being sent back to Arkham.
Right. That's the point of Oz being "the devil" because he will bring the hell to everyone around him.
Thats why OZ said shes going to hell. That's her hell

I don't think anyone saw that coming with Vic until that actual moment the kid saved him so many times. Oz was always that little demon child.

IMO Vic's ID being thrown away is a metaphor for the death of the old vic and his transition to ....
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Zsasz
Oz took Vic’s money and ID then tossed it in the water so that Vic’s death would look like a mugging and he’d end up in the morgue as a John Doe.
I flipped on Oz quick. I went from rooting for him to hoping and praying that Batman beats him almost to death and takes everything from him
Thing is, he has nothing to be taken away anymore. He's taken his own brothers, his mom, his enemies, his friends.
