Good format for this platform . Thanks for keeping the weather segment at the end.

Will the schools also end an hour later due to starting an hour later?

That’s still not late enough… they should start school at 9 or 9:15 for high school.

I remember when school was a place to prepare young adults for their future. Where in the world do you start work at 945/10am?! We should be preparing our children to face difficulties, to face adversities, and to deal with them appropriately. Instead we have decided that anytime something is deemed "difficult" we just make it easier. Were raising a generation of kids that will have no idea how to face anything remotely uncomfortable or difficult 😐

All by design. Dumb down the students as well. And we keep paying more taxes for schools for what exactly?

Its Portland. You obviously haven't seen some of these kids . Seriously entitled, sht attitudes. Actually the best ones i ran into were the poorest schools. They're aware of reality

i wonder what parents in Beaverton think about the later start time, in terms of their own work schedule and dropping their kids off, etc.

Idk but in the rest of the world people actually don't reward laziness

@@Azazel2024it’s not lazy to set your clocks to honor your mind’s best learning/working time. Their district will see a bump up in test scores, easily.

Teens can drive and/or ride the bus (for free). I worked at a high school for 15 years and moms or dads driving their teens isn’t the most common - or popular - way to arrive at school. 😂

The sleep sounds good. How much education a person, has dose not matter if u have critical thinking skills or intellect.

Wrong. Incredibly wrong. Education matters immensely. Critical thinking is the bare minimum.
