I have a P177F Fault using ODB11 I did have a battery drain issue were the battery died and i had lots of Low Voltage Errors...cleared all errors and the P177F came back Prior to the battery drain i had no low voltage errors. And currently the car drives fine with gear changes. Just when the car is scanned you will find the P177F and the voltage gear train is at 14v
Good vid! I have a jetta hybride and i have the same warning when i shift . The car drives normally but when i play a bit between 5th and 6th gear the fault begins to come and than it can only shift from 2 to 4 and 6. When i turn off the car and start it again it will just drive normal again till i dont know .. maybe you or someone knows a little more thanks !

I have a polo wont crank, plugged into VCDS and getting no communication. Checked the fuse which seem fine. Any idea? Was driving completely fine now wont drive or show the gear on the screen. All i have is P/N on the screen- polo 2010
@@aswanation My starter wire ended up snapping off which is why it wouldnt start. Car still wouldnt drive so i have sent my Mechatronics off for testing i haven’t got an answer as of yet

I am able to move the car and the failure on the dash dissapears i mean the flashing gear selections like p,d,r stops and i am able to move it but i am afraid for going a long way ...i ll wait for ur answer thx give me only 1 day:)
I have exactly the same problem fault code is P173B . I still can drive the car when I got the problem again I need to turn off the car and turn it on again then it’s good, so I’m not using the car to avoid bigger problems, do you have any idea what should I do here?

My 2013 VW Passat doesn't shift into any gear. When I put it into reverse, nothing happens. When I put it into drive, nothing happens. Then I can't put it back into Park without shutting off the vehicle first. It just started doing that today. It was working fine before that. Any help?

This volkwagen not so good. My golf i changed transmission for few thousand and oil leaking three time within a month..... so what u think

Clutch 2 responsible for even gears is worn out. You need a clutch pack replacement

Yes i did , it just change the even gears ,2,4,6 and reverse gear the other gears dont change

How you drop the pressure in the accumulator before removing it?
Drain all the mechatronic oil before removing it

Are you able to scan it and share the error codes? Could be as simple as low oil or bad sensor. Share the codes here

Clutch 2 may be having excessive wear

Mostly has to do with clutch tolerance limit. A gearbox reset, calibration or adaption is required.
