Relationships are hard, especially friendships, sometimes the people you think are your “friends” aren’t. You might have the best times together but in the end if you need them they might leave you on your own, which hurts. This video portrayed that perfectly, and in an super cheerful and upbeat kinda way which is cool. I’m glad a group like TXT exists to show these kinds of struggles, no one can do it better than them.

aww i love how they’re portraying something a lot of people deal with in friend groups. *i feel like this song and mv is something a lot of people can relate with.* Beomgyu had always wanted to be friends with the rest of the boy so he inserted himself in the friend group. The issue is he hadn’t known them very long and the other boys already had a very strong bond, this made him almost like an outsider (or 5-th wheel) in the friend group. Unintentionally, the 4 other boys were leaving him out. You can see that they still cared a bit as they stopped their bikes and waited for him, but it wasn’t the same as when Yeonjun fell. When Yeonjun fell, they all showed concern and ran to help him up. While with Beomgyu, all they did was look back unconcerned, but they still waited. At that moment, Beomgyu began to realize everything. Before, he was blinded by the happiness he felt from making new friends. So, he didn’t even realize how much he was being excluded or how little the boys cared about him... until now. This reminds me of friend groups I my self had been in in the past. I was in a larger friend group but i was closer friends with 2 other people in the group. The issue is that the 2 of them had been friends since they were little kids. I felt like I had to work hard to be included and close with my 2 friends. I was very upset and felt alone. It felt like all my efforts to be close with both of them where useless. Luckily, I eventually gave up and ended up making friends where I didn’t have to try hard to be in included :) and i’m much happier now!

Such a relatable MV tbh. This actually has an important message that many people already talked about in the comments. I actually relate to this partially. Me and my friends parted because we graduated and now study at different schools and I just can’t find my own group of friends in my school. I tried making friends but I didn’t like how the process of trying to make friends changed me into being fake and acting instead of being myself. I didn’t like it at all. Believe me, it’s better to be alone and be yourself than being around people that don’t know you for who you are. I hope time will come and I’ll have good people as my friends.

Lyric/mv Analytics: The boys keep repeating the word drama. At first they were saying "This is my drama", regarded towards Beomgyu talking about himself. That was when he was having fun and not having a care in the world. But in the mv you notice how he started to notice he's not there with the boys and just doesn't belong. So that main character role is taken from him. And he now just feels like a supporting character. An extra who doesn't really stand out, but still has a title. Like the different roles of a drama. Even though it's his life. So that's why the lyrics change to "You have a supporting role, This is your drama". You meaning Beomgyu and your meaning the other 4. Its saying that he isn't a main character in his life anymore, he's just supporting and the 4 boys are just the main characters so it's their drama now.
This is such a sad and actually relatable MV because, believe it or not, this happens a lot. Not just me, not just the people in the comment section, but a lot of people. That time when you always watch the "cool kids" be the "main characters" of the school. You don't have the confidence to walk up to them and join but you really do want to be their friend. One day, you get the chance to be in their friend group and, in a spur of confidence, you take it. Beomgyu took that chance when he threw the ball in the hoop instead of just returning it to them and continue watching. The first moments with them feel unreal. You're hanging out with the people that always had that spotlight over their heads that made them so bright and untouchable. This is what you always wanted. This is what Beomgyu wanted. But it's not. To the people wondering why it's an anime (Haikyuu) reference it's because the song is about a boy(Beomgyu) who's not the main character in his life, but a supporting role. All the moments when he was being happy and feeling like he was having fun with them was just a fantasy. At 3:28 he starts to realise it was all a lie and they never were truly beside him....he was behind them the whole time. He made himself think they were all being close to each other. He thought them comforting him after he fell was true, but sadly he woke up and saw them just staring at him, waiting for him to just help himself. That's when reality actually hits and his eyes go wide and he just sits there going over his memories with them, but without his fantasy blocking it. Then he gets up and just stands there. He's finally aware, but now it's up to him to either stay with them even though he doesn't belong or just leave & have no one to be with.

Beomgyu feels left out even though he's apart of their friend group. The others are really close to each other, unlike him, so he always there but left behind. Watching this made me realize just how much I love them and appreciate all their hard work. Theory: I think Can't You See Me era takes place after this. At first only 4 of them were friends except for Beomgyu. So only Soobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun and Kai were friends But Soobin did something wrong, but he didn't tell the others. Then Taehyun starts getting suspicious that Soobin did something wrong cos in the concept photos of Taebin we see the text 'suspicious'. Meanwhile Beomgyu didn't have friends so he wanted friends, so maybe Soobin threatened him to do what he says if he wants to be in the group. So Beomgyu is basically under Soobin's control that's why in CYSM mv when Soobin throws the glass from the table, Beomgyu also falls in the bed in the same angle and direction. And then he chokes Taehyun which maybe Soobin told him to do cause he doesn't want anyone to know he did something wrong. Idk if this makes sense lol. The worst part is pretty much my whole life I was alone like Beomgyu. When you've been lonely for a long time, you might not even realise it, but you feel so lifeless. And seeing friends being there for eachother but no one is there for you is really painful. What helped me was TxT ❤❤❤
they just portrayed what the song is about, being an extra, not having the spotlight in a Drama. I always had to deal with this lonely feeling ever since when I was in elementary school up to college... it never ends. But thankfully I finally surrounds by people who really cares me and made me feel included.
when yeonjun fell backwards while leaning on the couch, soobin's help him. so, beomgyu thought this is why we need friends. they will help us no matter what. but, when beomgyu fell off the bike while riding it, beomgyu imagine all of his friends will help him too and take care of him but ends up all four of them just watched from afar without intending to help him.

From that, he became close with the boys Until yeonjun fall from the sofa, everyone helps him, beomgyu from the side smiling and looking relief because (he thinks that everyone will help him when he fall) - like a main character, everyone will help him no matter what (he thinks like that) just like HE IS IN A DRAMA. Then one incident that beomgyu fall from the bicycle, he suddenly imagine everyone will take care of him and loves him - but it turns out not what him expecting. Then he realized, he is not the main character. He is alone actually when he's with the boys (the flashback scene come after he realized that) He is just AN EXTRA CHARACTER. I relate so much to the mv. I’m a foreigner living in japan and it was always hard for me to fit in. I always say “finally, I’m going to be i a friend group!” Or “these people are amazing.. we’ll be great friends!” But I’ve always been left out. Just like beomgyu, i only start realizing that i was just always behind my friends and away from the action. The one who doesn’t talk too much when theres so much i want to say. And one day when i was coming home from school with some of them, i said “bye! See you tomorrow” and got hit by a motorcycle. I fell of my bike. I was like beomgyu in the past, an outcast who'd constantly try to fit in but never could. Thankfully I stopped trying too. Eventually I found my own friend circle of people who are all as weird as I am, where I'm important and appreciated and where I don't have to change myself to be accepted. I think we all are outcasts somewhere, but it's important to remember that your life is more than that. You should accept yourself first cause once you're comfortable in your own skin, you'll be the lead of your own drama.

So basically Beomgyu wanted to feel accepted or make friends. He wanted to be surrounded with the people he loves. No matter how hard he tried to fit in with the other 4, they left him out. He was trailing behind them & watching them from their backs (having fun without him) as he was smiling. He didn’t seemed bothered at first until he finally woke up (realistically) that he didn’t really belonged there. As he stood up after falling from his bike, he has a choice to go with them so that he doesn’t have to be alone or walk the other path, being alone.

I love drama so much and I seriously can't under why it's so underrated . And as the comments box is full with beomgyu and I am going to comment about him too. It makes me sad seeing him along throughout the MV but this is like a reality. When you are in a group and you always feel like you're the only one who is out of the conversation and a lot of things. It's hurts so badly and I think beomgyu portrayed that character really welly.

When did each member of TXT became lonely in the storyline. Choi Yeonjun- Nap of Star. When he was alone crying in the forest after breaking his horns. But the members came and join him. Choi Soobin- The Dream Chapter Eternity Concept Trailer and concept photos. Soobin is invisible, the reason why the members can't talk to him and see him. Choi Beomgyu- Drama MV. He was an outsider in a group of friends. Kang Taehyun- notice how he always wear the opposite color. When the members wear white he's wearing black. When the members wear black he's wearing white. I think this is to symbolize that his dead(in the storyline). Beomgyu kword him in CYSM. Hueningkai- in one of the concept photos. TDCE concept photos has this instagram style. idk about you guys but i really enjoy seeing the variety of languages in these comments. It ranges from korean, japanese to turkish and Russian. There may not be many English comments but the amount of international languages here just show how big txt are and how they are starting to get recognised in other countries, it makes me so happy to see different nationalities joining here. aww i love how they’re portraying something a lot of people deal with in friend groups. *i feel like this song and mv is something a lot of people can relate with.*
Beomgyu had always wanted to be friends with the rest of the boy so he inserted himself in the friend group. The issue is he hadn’t known them very long and the other boys already had a very strong bond, this made him almost like an outsider (or 5-th wheel) in the friend group. Unintentionally, the 4 other boys were leaving him out. You can see that they still cared a bit as they stopped their bikes and waited for him, but it wasn’t the same as when Yeonjun fell. When Yeonjun fell, they all showed concern and ran to help him up. While with Beomgyu, all they did was look back unconcerned, but they still waited.
At that moment, Beomgyu began to realize everything. Before, he was blinded by the happiness he felt from making new friends. So, he didn’t even realize how much he was being excluded or how little the boys cared about him... until now.
This reminds me of friend groups I my self had been in in the past. I was in a larger friend group but i was closer friends with 2 other people in the group. The issue is that the 2 of them had been friends since they were little kids. I felt like I had to work hard to be included and close with my 2 friends. I was very upset and felt alone. It felt like all my efforts to be close with both of them where useless. Luckily, I eventually gave up and ended up making friends where I didn’t have to try hard to be in included :) and i’m much happier now!

Such a relatable MV tbh. This actually has an important message that many people already talked about in the comments. I actually relate to this partially. Me and my friends parted because we graduated and now study at different schools and I just can’t find my own group of friends in my school. I tried making friends but I didn’t like how the process of trying to make friends changed me into being fake and acting instead of being myself. I didn’t like it at all. Believe me, it’s better to be alone and be yourself than being around people that don’t know you for who you are. I hope time will come and I’ll have good people as my friends.
I hope you get quite a few but genuine friends. To anyone, trust me, you don't need to be popular, you don't need to have a huge friend list. The feeling of confiding and having a very strong bond with 2-3 people whom you could trust A LOT is fulfilling enough.

Lyric/mv Analytics: The boys keep repeating the word drama. At first they were saying "This is my drama", regarded towards Beomgyu talking about himself. That was when he was having fun and not having a care in the world. But in the mv you notice how he started to notice he's not there with the boys and just doesn't belong. So that main character role is taken from him. And he now just feels like a supporting character. An extra who doesn't really stand out, but still has a title. Like the different roles of a drama. Even though it's his life. So that's why the lyrics change to "You have a supporting role, This is your drama". You meaning Beomgyu and your meaning the other 4. Its saying that he isn't a main character in his life anymore, he's just supporting and the 4 boys are just the main characters so it's their drama now.

Can we talk about the aesthetic in every frame like EVERY.SINGLE.FRAME
This is such a sad and actually relatable MV because, believe it or not, this happens a lot. Not just me, not just the people in the comment section, but a lot of people. That time when you always watch the "cool kids" be the "main characters" of the school. You don't have the confidence to walk up to them and join but you really do want to be their friend.
One day, you get the chance to be in their friend group and, in a spur of confidence, you take it. Beomgyu took that chance when he threw the ball in the hoop instead of just returning it to them and continue watching.
The first moments with them feel unreal. You're hanging out with the people that always had that spotlight over their heads that made them so bright and untouchable. This is what you always wanted. This is what Beomgyu wanted.
But it's not.
He wanted that but it wasn't happening. They hung out but the difference was obvious. He was still the extra. The supporting role. The "friend" in title only. The "friend" who's only purpose is being a friend and nothing else.
But it's what he _wanted._ Could you blame him for still hanging out with them? For pretending they cared about him? He wanted the dream to last longer... but it won't... because he'll have to face it. He can't bear it forever and that's probably why he just stood up staring at them at the end. this mv gave me so many feelings and memories back, it's such a suffocating feeling when you feel like you're so far from that people, i've had a friendship like that and gosh it's like you're invisible cause you talk, you do everything, and no one even looks at you, you feel like you can't be seen by anyone and that hurts bad, and in the case of him fantasing about being in a group that you think are "nice" as an advice, don't trust so much people, because they're nice with their friends but that doesn't mean they'll bring you and see you as one too, besides having 1 or 2 true friends is better than having a lot of people who doesn't really care when you need them. that's a precious lesson i learned and i wanted to pass.

All the moments when he was being happy and feeling like he was having fun with them was just a fantasy. At 3:28 he starts to realise it was all a lie and they never were truly beside him....he was behind them the whole time. He made himself think they were all being close to each other. He thought them comforting him after he fell was true, but sadly he woke up and saw them just staring at him, waiting for him to just help himself. That's when reality actually hits and his eyes go wide and he just sits there going over his memories with them, but without his fantasy blocking it. Then he gets up and just stands there. He's finally aware, but now it's up to him to either stay with them even though he doesn't belong or just leave & have no one to be with.
Kind of like actual friends sometimes.

Beomgyu feels left out even though he's apart of their friend group. The others are really close to each other, unlike him, so he always there but left behind. And you can see he feels awkward, but still hangs with them because he probably doesn't want to be alone. He's always watching and see how they laugh and enjoy themselves just with 4 of them. You see how when the times they notice him, their expression change? Like the ball went to him and they face went straight, same for when he fell off his bike...they didn't help him like with Yeonjun. But they waited. So he's like a 3rd wheel with 2 people. His presence to them is invisible, but still there.

I think Can't You See Me era takes place after this. At first only 4 of them were friends except for Beomgyu. So only Soobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun and Kai were friends But Soobin did something wrong, but he didn't tell the others.
Then Taehyun starts getting suspicious that Soobin did something wrong cos in the concept photos of Taebin we see the text 'suspicious'.
Meanwhile Beomgyu didn't have friends so he wanted friends, so maybe Soobin threatened him to do what he says if he wants to be in the group.
So Beomgyu is basically under Soobin's control that's why in CYSM mv when Soobin throws the glass from the table, Beomgyu also falls in the bed in the same angle and direction.
And then he chokes Taehyun which maybe Soobin told him to do cause he doesn't want anyone to know he did something wrong.

From what i am understand with the mv :
First, beomgyu sitting on the bench and watching others playing. The boys looks happy and he wants to join them. Then, he starts plays with other when he picked up the ball. From that, he became close with the boys
Until yeonjun fall from the sofa, everyone helps him, beomgyu from the side smiling and looking relief because (he thinks that everyone will help him when he fall) - like a main character, everyone will help him no matter what (he thinks like that) just like HE IS IN A DRAMA.
Then one incident that beomgyu fall from the bicycle, he suddenly imagine everyone will take care of him and loves him - but it turns out not what him expecting.
Then he realized, he is not the main character. He is alone actually when he's with the boys (the flashback scene come after he realized that) He is just AN EXTRA CHARACTER.

sad I can relate to this. I used to have a group of “friends” I would hang out with and it was only because they were the only people who would talk to me. back then I wouldn’t talk at all, but I wouldn’t consider myself a mute. now that I think of it, those people probably only used me for school related work. I felt so happy when they talked to me, I would brag to my sister that I finally had friends. situations like this really do make you feel like you’re the main character, but the realization that you’re not hits you the most, it really does hurt. i’m glad I got out of that situation and actually have real friends now.

@jonathan I didn't say you should be a loner, I meant that you have to find the right group of friends. The popular people aren't always the best and you should stand up for yourself. You don't need people who don't need you. You should always push yourself to the best you can be. You have to love yourself before anyone else will love you. If other people can't see your worth then it would be their loss. You can't impress everyone. There is always going to be someone who dislikes you and you have to accept that. what I'm trying to say is that it is okay to be different and you should accept yourself for who you are. I relate so much to the mv. I’m a foreigner living in japan and it was always hard for me to fit in. I always say “finally, I’m going to be i a friend group!” Or “these people are amazing.. we’ll be great friends!” But I’ve always been left out. Just like beomgyu, i only start realizing that i was just always behind my friends and away from the action. The one who doesn’t talk too much when theres so much i want to say.
And one day when i was coming home from school with some of them, i said “bye! See you tomorrow” and got hit by a motorcycle. I fell of my bike. (I was okay luckily, but my leg kinda got stuck) and they just stared at me.... so i was like “oh! I’m okay... you can go now! I’ll call the teacher”
They were not bad friends, but also not the best :((

I was like beomgyu in the past, an outcast who'd constantly try to fit in but never could. Thankfully I stopped trying too. Eventually I found my own friend circle of people who are all as weird as I am, where I'm important and appreciated and where I don't have to change myself to be accepted. I think we all are outcasts somewhere, but it's important to remember that your life is more than that. You should accept yourself first cause once you're comfortable in your own skin, you'll be the lead of your own drama.

So basically Beomgyu wanted to feel accepted or make friends. He wanted to be surrounded with the people he loves. No matter how hard he tried to fit in with the other 4, they left him out. He was trailing behind them & watching them from their backs (having fun without him) as he was smiling. He didn’t seemed bothered at first until he finally woke up (realistically) that he didn’t really belonged there. As he stood up after falling from his bike, he has a choice to go with them so that he doesn’t have to be alone or walk the other path, being alone.
But i wanna ask something. When Yeonjun fell of the sofa, they're help him to stand up. Then when Beomgyu fell of the bike, they are just looking him and not help him(?) can you tell me more? mY bRaiN iS StOp wOrkInG RiGhT nOw :)

I love drama so much and I seriously can't under why it's so underrated . And as the comments box is full with beomgyu and I am going to comment about him too. It makes me sad seeing him along throughout the MV but this is like a reality. When you are in a group and you always feel like you're the only one who is out of the conversation and a lot of things. It's hurts so badly and I think beomgyu portrayed that character really welly.

When did each member of TXT became lonely in the storyline.
Choi Yeonjun- Nap of Star. When he was alone crying in the forest after breaking his horns. But the members came and join him.
Choi Soobin- The Dream Chapter Eternity Concept Trailer and concept photos. Soobin is invisible, the reason why the members can't talk to him and see him.
Choi Beomgyu- Drama MV. He was an outsider in a group of friends.
Kang Taehyun- notice how he always wear the opposite color. When the members wear white he's wearing black. When the members wear black he's wearing white. I think this is to symbolize that his dead(in the storyline). Beomgyu kword him in CYSM.
Hueningkai- in one of the concept photos. TDCE concept photos has this instagram style. The tagged word to Hueningkai is 'lonely. When you will read the caption in each post you will know that hueningkai is alone. Soobin is invisible. Beomjun is the suspect. And taehyun is the one finding the culprit. In one of the concept photos there is this conversation betweet Taehyun and hyuka. Taehyun is trying to convince hyuka that Beomjun(his hyungs) are the reason why soobin is gone. But hueningkai refused to believe.
+also in Eternally MV. Hueningkai is the only one that is apart from the other members. I saw one theory that says if those(the short dreams of txt in Eternally) are txt'a nightmares why does Hueningkai have a beautiful dream? A dream is opposite of why is happening in reality so there is also a chance that Hueningkai's reality is bad. It also said there in the mv that "dont go upstairs" but hueningkai did go upstairs and saw the other members standing on the other door.

idk about you guys but i really enjoy seeing the variety of languages in these comments. It ranges from korean, japanese to turkish and Russian. There may not be many English comments but the amount of international languages here just show how big txt are and how they are starting to get recognised in other countries, it makes me so happy to see different nationalities joining here.
