I am absolutely convinced that artificial intelligence in various forms will replace almost all types of jobs as we know them today, this applies to both mechanistic and intellectual functions and jobs. This transformation will increase exponentially as a function of available technology. The biggest challenge will be to adapt and regulate the technological possibilities in a wise and fair way that serves both humans, animals and the environment in the best possible way. This also includes meaningful and challenging jobs or replacements for all features that are being replaced by more and more advanced technology. Almost all types of mechanistic and intellectual jobs in engineering, manufacturing, transportation, trade, policing, case management, banking and finance, deterministic service and bureaucracy will be gradually transformed - while more non-deterministic functions will be transformed at a slower pace. Synthetic medicines will be replaced by both mental and physical health optimization, disease prevention, as well as smart energy medicines and gene-based functional algorithms. Human education and effords must be focused much more on how all forms of artificial intelligence and advanced automation can help fight poverty, injustice, slavery, suffering and distress, as well as contribute to the most meaningful and health-promoting lives for people, animals and the environment in a holistical way ...

"Asking machines to help us think?" I just retired from teaching and can tell you that thinking is the problem that we are having with many students in middle and high school and even college. A good example of this is when we want to know something what does a teen do? Oh, I'll Goggle that. Where is the thinking involved with that. They know very little, but if they have their trusty companion in life there to do the thinking for them they can answer almost anything. People are actually thinking less these days. I think that there are still students that can think but that number is becoming less and less a reality. I see a huge challenge in the future with our relying too heavily on artificial intelligence. If something happened to our computer devices and there was a major blackout we wouldn't know how to do most things that our grandparents knew how to do. The ability to think is precious, but we have a generation coming up through the ranks that lack the ability to think without their cell phones. That is not the case with all students but it is with many these days. The Goggle it generation lives with their phones by their bed stands in the morning , throughout the day and at bed time. Have you ever watched people waiting in a service center like a tires place. What are 95% of the people doing> They're on their phones. What about teens or adults walking down the street. They are on their phones or have some type of listening device for music. They're in their own world. There is something seriously wrong with this picture.

I agree with you to an extent, so let me narrow in on what I don't agree with.
Google isn't thinking for anyon. Googling the answer to a question is data retrieval. It is substituting for memorization, not problem solving.
You can set up a situation where a student needs to use Google for information retrieval, and then ask them to problem solve with that information. That would require thinking.
We don't currently teach that way, so yes we are weak at that skill. We tend to think that people who know many facts are more intelligent, so using Google over personal knowledge makes people seem less intelligent.
Our education system needs to catch up.
There is something to be said for personal knowledge. Each piece of information provides a larger context for each new bit of information. Knowledge provides a deeper understanding and helps problem solving.
However there is now simply to much information on any given subject for anyone to know it all. We have to learn how to search for it (Google etc.), put it together, and problem solve with it.
We used to carry rocks out of a mine in baskets. We still can, but we have trucks now. Maybe our backs are weaker, but we mine far more now.

These tools should help us answer the question: is this information verifiable and objectively true? Imagine if you could apply this to asking if your favorite conspiracy theories on social media have any basis in objective facts. For my work, being able to cross reference patent databases with scientific literature would go a long way to helping us develop better engineered solutions for our clients. It would eliminate a lot of bias, and expand the available potential solutions or combination of solutions that fit the problem at hand.

There's these things called "scientific analysis" and "critical thinking". So when it comes to figuring out "conspiracy theories", it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure a lot of things out, or at least get enough data, and preponderance of evidence to at least completely eliminate any wrong theories. Kind of, no, exactly like you described how it would benefit your work. The problem is that even the most educated people aren't immune to brainwashing, groupthink and cognitive dissonance. And sadly, it's evident you are in some level. How can I tell this? Simply analyze the information you output. I'll aim up your tell like this: Imagine thinking that something is rare, outlandish and not common, when it's literal definition can be literally translated into the phrase: A hypothesis examining the possible collusion of two or more people in a nefarious, malevolent and/or criminal act. That's LITERALLY what "conspiracy theory" means. It can mean and thing from a mother wondering if her two small children are up to no good presently as they're making a lot of noise in the other room, to a beat cop questioning people in the neighborhood as to if they possibly saw a getaway driver sitting outside the store that was robbed, to wondering if two politicians neglected their oath of office in order to get some kickbacks after they were seen being given identical cars as gifts. All these things are as plain as rain....yet ALL are ACTUAL "conspiracy theories". Nothing fanciful, nothing out of the ordinary and they happen all day long, every single day. But by the way you amazingly clearly defined your need for your business after saying you need a.i. to tell you what's true, shows that sadly, you have been brainwashed (I prefer the term "cognitive conditioning" ) regarding the phrase "conspiracy theory". It's not that hard to tell if the basics of any official explanation into any questionable event are fundementally or scientifically impossible. Is there a logical progression in it? Does it make any sense as to why they would deliberately omit something? Are there countering witnesses, testimony or evidnce? Qui bono? Dude, critical thinking and using the scientific method of problem solving aren't a hard thing to do. You just have to ask the right questions.

I’m targeted by this program. I’m not against darpa but why target innocent civilians?
