Mike I use the foam cannon on my vehicles when I’m done I use my leaf blower to blow the excess water off so it doesn’t leave any water spots.
I use a foam canon as well, but also use a water De ionizer. I let nature dry it with no spots😁 one less step in the process..
@@skoffco yep only way to go !
Interesting. The filter doesn’t cause any low pressure to the power washer? Can you recommend one? Thanks
Every Friday was clean up equipment and truck day when I was working. A clean piece of equipment is a joy to operate, not to mention the mechanics appreciated working on clean rigs. Good job!
Want a tip?
Rubbing alcohol in a large spray bottle to clean the insides of windshields using a terry cloth towel.
I like that - 300 hours and not a scratch on it. It's really not that hard to take care of stuff, just a little common sense, a little mental effort during operation and a small effort when the projects are completed. Then you're rewarded with equipment that looks new still. You're also correct in keeping the resale value. Using the equipment in ways that it was not designed for is not good. So far, in the last 5 years, I've not seen you do that. I have seen that on a few other channels I watch. Thanks for the update at Cliff's property. It is looking nice, the grass is growing nicely. Kudos for the nice job there. I also really enjoyed the work on your sister's drive. Wasn't that shed delivery trailer awesome! Wow! Thanks Mike, loved today's video, as always!👍🚜❤🇺🇸
We have a foamer at work and we run a product called Ripper thru it , its a heavy duty dagreaser we wash a lot of Equipment and it works well spray on let it sit on Equipment for a few minutes and before it dries hit it with the steam powerwasher works well.
Mike Your Equipment looks brand new all of the time you don't beat up and miss use Equipment you take care of things! And if you want things to last that is exactly what you gotta do take care of it.
Keep Smiling On!!
😀👍👊
It's true love man and his machine! I love taking care of all my equipment and tools! Regular people have no idea how much these machines cost!
Foam cannons are wonderful! I like to use Dawn dishwashing liquid in my foam Cannon when cleaning engines and undercarriage. Dawn dishwashing liquid works great for dissipating oil and grease.
MR MIKE I got the FOAM CANNON after seeing you use and IT WORKS it cleaned up my J D looks like new now THANKS
The timing of the foam spray with the music at the beginning of the video was masterful!
I bought a new pressure washer last yr I got one with the built on soap tank. Works same way just holds more.👍
I live in a small town in southern Idaho in the middle of farm country (not a farmer, but as a former resident of big cities in CA I love it here). There is constant dust and wind that carries the dust. Plus there's the "mud rain" that dumps the dust on everything. Foam cannons are very cool! Works for cars, trucks, equipment and big windows on the house. There are many different soap/detergents for each task; read learn and experiment for each task. Some work better than others.
Good Video!
Cool, hopefully you leave the shitty California politics behind also.
@@Chinothebambino Yes I did!!! One big reason I left.
Love the way you maintain your equipment!
I have been using a foam cannon for a couple years, about a year ago I started using it with a pressure washer gun with out and on it makes it easier to use without the weight hanging out 3’ on the end
That’s just pride Mike, nothing wrong there .
Cheers from Aus
Yes, I have been looking at the soapy cannon, for a long time but wasn't convinced till I watched you, I will give it a try. Thanks, Mike
Yeah I can see what you mean it’s a game changer saving heaps of time with a nice thick layer of foam .
I've had foam Cannon for about 5 years and that thing is awesome best accessory I've ever bought for my pressure washer, along with the turbo nozzle nothing it won't clean 😀.
WOW! Without a funnel even... you're my Hero Mike !
Lol that never happens
Just saw an ad for the big tool rack partially voiced by none other than Mike Morgan. Have a productive day.
bought one a coupleyears ago works great you will like it
Received mine Sunday.. Used it today. Very pleased with the result on my BX
I have been using a foam cannon on my vehicles for years and they work great … you also need an undercarriage sprayer for those PA salty winter roads that rust out you body … especially for you F150 and Bronco and JEEP
I bought one a couple months ago. Best money spent in a hot minute.
Started using the foam cannon a few months ago with an electric pressure washer. I like the Mr. Pink soap. Works great.
Exact same bottle and soap I bought the first time. Also bought a bunch of fittings and made them all quick disconnected on the pressure washer.
I love your use of Erik Satie's composition as your intro musical accompaniment for this video. It's my TOP favorite Satie piece!!! Yay!!!!!
Was looking for a foam cannon, your video certainly helped me make a decision. Thank you.
Pretty sweet attachment for your needs for sure. Plenty of foam and it cleans good to.
The foam cannon is great for everything ,my brother in law uses it to wash his dogs they love it
I have an RB800 ,it takes the decals of your machine, but the good part is it cuts through grease with cold water
Cheers from Aus
thank you Mike I will haveto get one of these now we a ankle deep in mud here feels like it rains every day
you are doing such a great job of teaching poeple how to maintain equipment
cheers paul
Works so well on a car too. I have been using one for almost a decade now. With the right soap solution, the heavy dirt and grit just floats off and leaves less of a chance to mar the paint.
I am impressed! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the tip about the foam cannon, I was able to get one at Wal Mart. Works great.
Doing the cleaning for the boss where you worked is a whole different ballgame doing it for yourself. You did a good job and your equipment looks brand new
Great video Mike 🇺🇲 I always enjoy watching your videos 🇺🇲
Thanks Mike, my wife stopped by Autozone after church this morning and picked up the same sprayer and foam since the Amazon product was discontinued. Thanks so much for the information, now I'll get everything out and give it a try. Fred.
Let me know how you like it
Thanks Mike...I liked they way that foam sprayer worked,.so I went ahead and ordered one. 👍 I've been one of those guys holding out on buying one.
So good seeing you let your chickens free range.Years ago we kept about 300 chickens and we always let them free range. In my opinion the chickens are happier, healthier, and the eggs and meat taste a whole lot better. We also enjoyed watching and listening to them. Come evening they they would head back into the coop all except a few, at which time, our German Shepard would very gently herd the stragglers back in.
Good info again Mike! I've been cleaning the vehicles for a few years using about the same approach. Definitely good advice to get a good quality foam cannon to start, I tried a couple of the super cheap plastic cannon's 1st and they just don't work well or hold up, a solid brass cannon with the adjustability you point out is where you want to start. I can also vouch for Chemical Guy's detergents, I use the purple for vehicles and the degreaser they make is awesome too, they are a bit pricey compared to others, but they are super concentrated so you really don't need much in a bottle to perform very effectively. A gallon jug of the purple car wash lasts me 2 years+. Hoping everyone is doing well and BTW, Cliff is one lucky dude to have you as a neighbor, amazing work on his project, for sure!
I’ve always enjoyed washing my vehicles and equipment, but this past summer I broke down and bought one of the brass cannons like you did. I make excuses now why I should wash stuff now😂, I use a IronTron 1,600psi electric pressure washer to be quick, easy and quiet.
Interesting , Thank You . looks like a good idea
Foam cannons work great, I use purple power on the grease spots and super dirty spots in a garden pump sprayer and foam cannon everywhere else works really good
Great video Mike! I have been using one now for awhile and use it for everything. For equipment, I use a stronger soap to cut through the dirt and grime. I then use the foam cannon to apply wax for extra protection. Works great and I did a video on it, if interested.
Love those scrubbing bubbles 😮
That looks like it works well Mike. I can say one thing Mike I would not blink a eye to buy any piece of equipment that you have owned you take great care of them. !!!!!!!!!
Aloha Captain Morgan and the family watching the show had to stop the minute I saw the chickens walking in the background as you're talking I think it's too cool growing up seeing our farm animals walking around you know part of the family so far out Mr Morgan aloha
Obsessed garage has one of the best foam sprayers out on the market with all the different orifice sizes because to get the best foam from the cannon it needs to be matched correctly to the size of power washer being used they have couple videos explaining it on the obsessed garage you tube channel they also have all the stainless steel connectors for everything from hose bib quick connects power washer connections ect best place I've found to get what you need with everything explained to great detail and you can trust your getting quality. Foam cannons are awesome every garage shop needs one something about the foam is so satisfying!!
Mike, it is best to lube the equipment after washing it. Especially if you use a pressure washer. That way, the new grease pushes out any water that got into the joints and fittings. That is how we do it on airplanes.

Neat piece of equipment enjoyed the video ! Enjoyed the video thanks !
I use one of those on everything and even use it for deck wash . They are handy and like you said it gets into every place.
I love power washing my equipment. I believe that a clean piece of equipment says alot about the owner. If the equipment is taken care of the owner cares about the usage of it.
Foam cannons are awesome.
I use one with ceramic spray for my motorcycle. Easy to use and comes out perfect!
I love that sprayer I will swing by an Autozone and pick one up for my equipment!. Its healthy to keep your equipment clean and out of the weather!. Great video mike!. Morgans good day!.
It arrived this morning, once the suns off the truck I’m on it 👍👍👍👍 great video as always Mike.
Steve in the UK 🇬🇧
Beautiful equipment mike 💯✌️
I have been using a Griots Garage foam cannon for some time now on my cars and love it!
I use a generac 173 cc electric start pressure washer that has that built in. Works great
I love my maintenance days. I just take my time and wash everything early in the morning and then do what ever maintenance needs to be done. It's just for me relaxing. Not as relaxing as using the equipment, but almost.
Thanks for the link Mike. I just bought one from tractor supply. The amazon one says not available. Works great!
I like a swivel end on the washer too. to get into and under things you couldn't otherwise.
It also works great on patio furniture and lawn mowers😀
I used to drive a 32’ white wrecker and for 7 years I drove heavy haul transport trucks, all of which were white as well. I found if you mix Dawn dish soap and Pine Sol the combination would cut through grease and bugs from the trucks. It did a good job fairly quick.
Dawn dish soap works on a lot of stuff, I've used it to wash my cars in a pinch. I have also used the Kirkland brand Laundry Soap for cleaning up oil stains on my carport, very little scrubbing needed, and a garden hose and nozzle.
A product called Crud Cutter works great too for removing road grime, bugs, tar, etc. from a vehicle...you'll have to follow up with a soap/water rinse of course to get the Crud Cutter off, but it doesn't require any scrubbing at all, I sprayed it on the cab and hood of a pickup that had sat under a tree for a long time, I let the product sit for maybe 5 minutes took the garden hose with a spray nozzle and it sprayed all that gunk right off without scrubbing anything.
Mike, try ProNano line of soaps. They make equipment specific washes and they’re 100% touch less and work flawlessly. I use their ProNano Plus on my cars and trucks and don’t even need a sponge or bucket.
I was getting ready to type when the cookout was at Neighbor Cliff's but that's covered. Have a nice weekend Morgans.
Hey mike last night I washed my skid. I used some of that grease lightening that you can get for your stove. Try it out on your machine around the fittings. I sprayed with the bottle it comes in let it sit for 10 minutes and boy what a difference. Oh and I just washed it off with garden hose.
Fantastic!
Of course Mike has a perfect pour!
Bought the setup and going to try the foam system. Found the foam cannon on sale at auto Zone for $27.00.
Looks like something I'll need to buy. Thanks for sharing. I have never seen one before.
I have been washing and detailing my own vehicles for a number of years using foam cannons. They work great to help loosen the dirt. Then power wash the rest off. Chemical Guys honeydew is a great car wash soap. Adam's polishes makes good soaps for foam cannons also. Many of these soaps are PH neutral so safe for just about any thing, but not as good at lifting caked on dirt and grime. You can find foaming car wash soaps that are a bit on the alkaline side that do a better job of loosening dirt . Purple power boat and RV wash is available at walmart and is on the alkaline side. Cheap and easy to find. Sometimes use in on my cars and trucks but not sure if good idea to use it every time since it has a higher PH. High PH soaps will remove regular wax but not ceramic coatings. Yes some farmers do ceramic coat their tractors like their just like their truck. DO NOT used dawn dishwashing soap. It will eventually dull the paint and make the finish look old.
Great job
I have that same setup Mike, same soap also. Had it for a few years now. Only thing I don’t like is switching the tips back and forth. And don’t wash in the sun or it will leave spots on the windows, especially if you have the soap mixed heavy.
Dawn dishwashing liquid. It's a very effective degreaser, you just want to dilute it a fair bit.
Equipment looks great. Like the day it was unloaded new. Neighbor Cliff's place is coming right along. Thanks Mike appreciate the time and effort put into your videos, it shows. Have a blessed day in "The Neighborhood" from SE Texas Bear ❤💯
Foam Cannons are great. I started using Meguiars Gold Class car wash last year in my foam cannon. It creates a lot of foam, cleans very well, and is a little cheaper than the foam cannon specific soap.
Nice review Mike. I've been thinking about getting one of those you just made up my mind.
Good Saturday morning everyone out there in OWTM land from a much cooler Virginia Beach, after the much needed storms rolled through yesterday afternoon and last night…Mike thanks for pushing me over the edge on decided to deciding to buy one of these. Thanks for the update on neighbors Cliff & Jeanies project. Can’t wait to see the finished project. Updates on the Mark the AUZZIE’s visit too please.
Have a day
Hello Huntman
Still no rain in our part of Northern Texas!
@@oldmanfred8676 Good morning Fred. Sorry to hear that. Hoping things get better out there for yall
@@oldmanfred8676 Not much here in the western Ozarks farm either. That line of storms that flooded St Louis stayed up by the Missouri River and I-70. Others have been closer- several within earshot and eyesight, but the best we got was somewhere between T and 0.01”.😔
@@johnsadler8637 not good. Stay safe
@@johnsadler8637,
Similar events here John, the grass crunches when you walk across the lawn. We need rain bad!
Great video. I like that foaming soap and nozzle. Your equipment looks good. 👍👍👍❤️
Thats a nice set up. My Craftsman 3700 has a 2 bottle system, 1 for cleaning foam like your cannon, and a second bottle for a residue clean rinse or you can use a spray wax.
Thanks for the video Mike, got to get one of those dispensers for my pressure washer. That's a really cool tool for sure. Thanks for sharing with us, stay safe and keep up the great videos. Fred.
Hey Mike, followed your link on Amazon and they show not available and no idea when either. Watched your video again and heard you say autozone and called them. My wife will pick it up for me Sunday after church. Thanks for the information. Fred.
Nice job!!
Good morning Hunter 😸 and family and friends 😸😺
Thanks for foam cannon demo. I like the way it performs. My old heavy equipment gets super greasy and grimy so I first degrease with a product called Black Max. But I like the finished soap and spray application to complete the job and will have to give it a try.
The foam does a great job mike
BTW Always work/wash/rinse from the top down! it works the dirt down as you go.
Mike you make dirty equipment clean again, job well done on another amazing video
I use dawn dish soap in my foam sprayer and it works pretty good, try it and it's normally less expensive then other solvent products.
God Bless.
Foam cannons are a good tool to have for those quick washes. If you want to take it to the next level, follow up a good hand wash with a touchless sealant like carpro Hydro2. Makes water dance right off and provides a good shine. I use it on my Massey and camper. Works great and you can dry with a leaf blower because the water just glides off.
Sure does a good job, Mike !!
AWESOME!
I have been using a foam cannon for a while. I got one from Amazon that has a larger opening to fill the dispenser with. Less spillage. I also purchased a new handle only with quick disconnects so that I wouldn't have the weight at the end.
Good morning to all from SE Louisiana 30 Jul 22.
Goodmorning Melissa dear. Hi Mike
With you using well water, I'd recommend finding a biodegradable soap. Never looked for that in the auto cleaner sector myself. But one I like, if can be used, is simple green. Idle a gasoline power presser washer isn't good on pump!
Mike, I like any type of washing where you don't have to dry it off afterwards. The equipment looks nice and ready for the next project. Thanks for showing an update on neighbor Cliffs structure. Hopefully you'll show us the finished product. Stay safe.
Just drive it really fast, it'll dry itself LOL.
Nice, I just bought one 2 weeks ago
Good morning Morgans and friends
🍩🍩🍩
Morning
I just have a small electric pressure washer, I don't have a foam cannon, I've never tried one...I do have the soap nozzle and it seems to work ok sometimes, I'll have to order a foam cannon and give one a try. I only use a pressure washer maybe once or twice a year so the electric was the best option for me, plus the pump shuts off when you let off the trigger unlike the gas powered ones that sit there and burn up the pump if you don't run over and shut it down between uses.
I have been using the Armorall branded vehicle wash soap, seems to work ok. On oil stains and spills on my carport I don't even use a pressure washer, I get the area wet, and use the bulk Kirkland Signature laundry detergent...a cup full of that, and an old broom to scrub the area, and a garden hose, takes the oil stain/spills right off the concrete. Usually cat litter, or even sawdust will soak up a lot of it leaving very little residue if any, but occasionally there's a spot that just won't come off and that's when I get out the laundry detergent, brush and hose.
