I grabbed this book blindly in Jim Thorpe, PA in a book store. I grabbed it based off the title, and now that I found this isn’t related to what I thought it would be, I’ve grown more curious. I’m very unfamiliar with the Arab Revolt, the Turks, Ottoman Empire etc - I don’t even know where to begin but I’m interested
Most of the Aqaba events he mentioned happened in the movie but NOT in the book or in reality. For instance, Lawrence did NOT cross the Nefud desert in reality but passed near the edges of it. Also, the Nefud was not between Lawrence and Aqaba so it would have made no sense. It did work well in the movie though.

@@TransRoofKorean No I was mentioning how the teacher here was talking about fictionalized parts of the movie as if they actually happened.
