@@CarsLifeYTReliability? I asked two people...one expert mechanic and the other car reviewer. This or an R8...both said "R8 all day." I assume based on reliability issues. Your thoughts?
@@DrMic2112 In the almost 2 years I’ve had it, I’ve had zero problems other than the tailgate failing to latch once which was covered under warranty. It’s possible you could get a lemon and not have that same experience, but if you don’t it’s an incredible drivers car - you just have to remember to keep driving it! These cars are meant to be driven. I’d look for something with some miles on it, not something that’s been sitting around. And for what it’s worth, the R8 is a great car too but doesn’t have the same appeal to me personally. I’d rather get the Huracan if I was going to opt for that powertrain.
@@CarsLifeYT best drivers car Ive ever had absolutely love it rear mid engined can’t be beaten & way more comfortable than my 911 992 i had before which was terrible on our crappy roads in the uk & never really gelled with rear engine configuration.
Still have it, I haven’t added anything aftermarket because it’s a warrantied car and McLaren will not hesitate to void it if I make any modifications. I haven’t found the need to add an exhaust though, the MSO one I’ve got sounds pretty good & is plenty loud.
Hey, what do you do to be able to afford this, it’s in my future plans to get one but don’t know how, what exactly do you do? Awesome and congratulations !!!
I do! Absolutely love the car and reliability has been pretty solid besides an oil leak recently. However, I’d definitely recommend getting one with a warranty that you can extend each year only because the warranty covers pretty much everything outside of cosmetics. It’s saved me a bit over $5k this year (granted the warranty renewal this year was $5200 since the car is in the 5-10 year range). The warranty is a nice to have in case you do ever run into an instance where you’re going to have to spend 5 figures on a service. Better to have it and not need it so to say.
@@MusicShqip67 Oh lol, that’s what I thought but I wanted to be sure. I had bought the car about a month before it got delivered so there was much more excitement around the time of purchase.

@@CarsLifeYT im in the market for 570s or 570gt. i like the gt on paper but i feel like the s looks more exotic, the gt seems like its softened up a bit and more refined and not as sporty or exotic as the s.i drove the s and its great. i drove the gt and the open moonroof distracted me so much..idk.
@@ovasov They’re both great looking cars. Both turn the same amount of heads. I prefer the contour of the 570GT over the S. I don’t like the roofline and the flat back as much on the S. The GT is a bit softer on suspension and has more sound dampening. I’ve got all the MSO options (including the MSO exhaust) and it’s incredibly loud even with the extra dampening. What a gorgeous vehicle. Sounds absolutely amazing. Congrats man, enjoy it.

Welcome to the "McLaren club' brother...loving my 570S. Great video!!!
Thank you 🙏
Excellent video I would get one for myself nice car
The notes on that muffler scream supercar 😮
It's got a great sound! The best is the higher rev ranges when driving.
Nice got a 570gt myself in uk in white..bit more carbon on yours..more alcantara on mine…doing my second trackday next week 👍
Nice! How have you been liking yours? I've yet to track mine, but I honestly just love driving it around the city/highway.

Nice, I’d been wondering if the glass roof closed. Looks like hat life & sunscreen in the summer.
Yeah, the sunroof unfortunately doesn’t close. It’s tinted pretty nicely, but it’s still a fishbowl in the summer. Very hot. Strongly recommend a hat!

Software Engineer of over a decade is mainly the income that I used for this. In the last year, I’ve started a software company as well.
What kind of tint does the car have?
Is it Ceramic Tint, or the Regular type?
I was wondering because of the heat situation.
