Condition Red!!

Here's something in Bosconian that makes this game challenging: Condition Red. If you don't shoot the spy ships, eventually it will come to this and enemies start coming at you with all they've got. Even when getting close to the motherships they fire more bullets at you.
Played this on the Retro Arcade Pac-Man Plug-and-play.

Yeah, it's one of those "hurry up" features where if you take too long the game ramps the pressure up in order to fast-track either the current player's progress or the next player getting a turn.

I agree when playing the arcade version of bosconian cause that's when you want to survive but it gets annoying in the arcade version.

WOW , I am from Kentucky, but maybe 30 years ago or so , my family was on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC . There was a little arcade I remember, and this game was in there. WOW, The memories this brings back. I always remember playing the game and it would get faster, and then the CONDITION RED! It made it feel like the fate of the planet was hanging in the balance, based on what I could do! Hearing that, was exciting and scary for me too haha I didn't want to lose the entire world. but this was a very great game! Fun and exciting, the voice here yelling that. What a blast!

After you Wed, the 'condition red' part comes (years?) later when the divorce papers get served.

That’s because they had to compress the voices really severely in order to fit them on the sound chip, which lowers the quality of the audio and makes it sound kind of muffled. Same reason Elmo sounds like he’s saying “who wants to die” in that old talking children’s book about potty training (the sample actually says “who has to go?”)
