Every once in a while I'll come back and watch all of these steam engine videos. Watching John build and listening to him explain everything is very soothing. Hope John is still with us but his 85th birthday was 10 years and we haven't heard anything from him in a while which causes some concern.
I really, really hope that everything is fine with you and one day very soon you get back to your youtube side again. As I can see I am not the only one missing you. GOOD LUCK
Beautifully built engine John, I have watched many of your videos and you have some wonderful skills, I'm just starting out building miniature steam/air engines myself, so thankyou for the inspiration. Hope you keep well and produce many more. All the best, to you, and your partners expensive cushions ;) Regards Ade
That is a beautiful little engine and it sounds so tight, so well machined when it runs really fast. Hats off to you sir, that is a brilliant piece of work
Thanks john I have a few medical problems and getting out in the shop makes me forget all about it! Keep up the awesome work and I'll look forward to your drawings! Paul McKinney

Absolutely beautiful! Mr Simmance, I do understand that you are getting on a bit, however, I frequently watch your videos and I always wonder/hope that you are still alive, even if you don't make any videos anymore. Would you please give all of us a sign of life? Best regards from Outback Australia, Rolf
