- Many of Jacksonville's biggest strip clubs have a new deal with city attorneys that is years in the making. With a new settlement in federal court, not only are taxpayer funds paying the businesses and dancers $60,000, police also have new restrictions on how they can investigate these venues.
Club owners got the money....I bet none of the dancers got a penny

And we have to pay for there mistakes. The sheriff's office should be paying the settlement. I never been at any strip club, so why am I paying for there mistakes. I paid for alot of things that I never use. This does not make any cents.

So ex-employee here of emperors, and the Officers Club in Mayport in Jacksonville, fl , this is a human trafficking case, and they’re currently under investigation by the FBI for human trafficking. I worked there I know what happens there! They’re definitely trafficking women because they get them strung out on drugs, and their supplier works in the club so all of the money comes right back to the club. It’s literally the saddest thing I’ve ever witnessed inside of a strip club. Everyone is on drugs. The manager stays drunk. The bartenders are drunk. No one is of stable sound mind. You can have sex with anyone in the club for around 150 bucks. It is a legal prostitution ring somehow. The place is disgusting. The managers owners and staff are completely incompetent. When I first started working there, I noticed that the people I was working for it we’re not qualified for their positions, but me being a dancer I kept my head down. I work there two months and I’ll never work in another establishment like that.

You shouldn't expect the sheriff's deputies to be attorneys, and I'm sure if the uniformed officers patrolled the clubs more often, someone would complain about that. 👍👍
When you have average people that knows the law better than the one's paid to enforce the law you have a problem. You have whole RUclips channel dedicated to showing the police either violating someone's rights or attempting to. Ron DeSantis had someone arrested not too long ago and every charge was dropped because he didn't commit a crime.

Another example how the police in this city can do whatever the hell they want. Aren't the police supposed to protect the public's rights? What does Sheriff Mike Williams have to say about this? The bad part about it the settlement will come out of our tax dollars. In the USA you should know the laws that you enforce. This is why police officers need more training and should be fined for their misconduct. It's unfair that every police department in usa is basically playing with house money. I guarantee you if they receive deduction if their salary for misconduct they will think 3x before they violate people's rights.
Better training, culture change in police departments, more financial and legal accountability for police departments... Gosh, I wonder who's been asking for that while being called Communists, Socialists, Marxist, or whatever other -ist someone can think of.

Something about this attorney seems creepy weird. I’m sure he has handled plenty of theses cases. But honestly...sex trafficking in strip clubs...I would say..sex for sale willingly, yes! If you truly want to crack down on sex trafficking it’s quite obvious that hotels the internet as well as the ties to our child welfare system would be a worth while investment and use of resources. I really should have done more with my life to replace the decision makers of today. How out of touch are they seriously.

WTF? I'm not paying for dancers and their clubs. They also sell and do drugs in these places. Also probably on the side customers. Of course they want the age to go back to 18 cause then these girls are young and never about what really goes on in these clubs. I believe it does become human trafficking they just haven't been caught yet.. check out their VIP rooms.
"Human Trafficking" seems to have become a buzz phrase that's put in front every controversial law enforcement action to justify it.
Everything is Human trafficking, yet no arrest ever reported on news. They use it to take down websites all the time
