Definitely the hardest of the SHB Extremes unsync'd. Phase 1 is easy, but people don't always remember the wide variety of mechanics. One thing I've noticed though, is that the knockback with 4 stack aoes can be cheesed. It does give vuln up, but a dps can shoulder that if they are healed up.

@@loomingdeath1758 It's definitely the hardest unsync fight. This is because most of the fight cannot be cheesed, which means you're practically doing it sync'd. A lot of the mechanics, when done wrong, simply kill the player which has a domino effect since certain mechanics will wipe the party if there aren't 8 players. The only benefit of unsync over sync is that you cut about 3 minutes of the repeating mechanics part of the fight out.
Lets quickly go over other trials and why they are easier:
- *Titania & Innocence.* Massive difference in gear score allows the party to skip multiple mechanics and stand in a lot of aoes. Tank swaps from Innocence are mitigatable by a single tank, meaning even more dps can be brought. These are obviously the easiest of the bunch.
- *Hades.* Surprisingly still quite difficult due to certain mechanics being unskippable. Universal Manipulation and Igeyorhm + Lahabrea are the main culprits. Sometimes "Again the Martyr" can cause a wipe, but usually once a group gets to the final phase then they are good. A lot of mechanics still get skipped in unsync though and the dps checks are so easy to make that even dying multiple times won't stop you from hitting them. All in all, probably the 3rd hardest of the SHB trials.
- *Ruby Weapon.* Players can take a lot of punishment from avoidable aoes and the only real barrier to completion is Liquefaction/Undermine, and Iron Chariot. Considering large portions of both phase 1 and 2 are skipped, this is probably the easiest besides Titania and Innocence.
- *Memoria Misera.* This fight still requires adherence to mechanics, but you can kill him so fast that he doesn't enter phase 3. This means no clock positions, which is the crux of why the fight is so hard. With this in mind, this probably ties with Diamond Weapon in terms of difficulty.
- *Emerald Weapon.* Ho boy, lets go into why this fight is just barely the second hardest behind Seat of Sacrifice. The first phase is negligible, but EW only checks to see if he should skip to phase 2 at certain points. The first is right before the first set of mines, the second is after the 2nd emerald beam, and the third is right after divide et impera (I believe, I only had it happen a few times since you have to be doing really bad for it to happen). In phase 2 though, it can either go really smoothly or go really wrong, really fast. Primus Terminus Est will consistently cause pugs to lose two or more due to one person screwing up. Tertius Terminus Est is also dangerous to unsync players, as doing it wrong usually means death and it's randomized where the safe spots are. If anyone died during either of these mechanics, then you won't be able to nuke the first Legio Phantasmatis and end the fight early. This usually is a deathknell as players who messed up a mechanic once will do so again when they repeat before the second Legio Phantasmatis. This fight will only get easier as our gear gets stronger, but the unforgiving and sometimes party-wide punishment of failing mechanics can make this fight difficult to pug in unsync.
- *Diamond Weapon.* Remarkably, despite this fight technically being the most demanding since most mechanics need to be obeyed, one of the most crucial ones is commonly ignored in unsync. Diamond Rain, while requiring a heal up, is completely ignorable. This allows your entire party to stay on the same platform, and means you only need one really good healer. This means you get another dps which can allow you to easily make the dps check to kill DW before he does Flood Ray. All of the mechanics prior to phase 3 are super easy, and as long as no one gets yeeted, you should be able to beat him before phase 3. While probably the most demanding gear and rotation wise, the mechanics are easy to learn and reproduce. This means it ties with Memoria Misera for 4th place in how hard it is.
@@CamperCarl00 Bruh we cleared that fight easily. I think this sounds like a skill problem. Emerald Weapon is Harder than SOS.... SOS is baby. Lets be real tether is easy. WHM/BLM is literally keeping track of your number 1-5 2-6 3-7 4-8
@@loomingdeath1758 Of course its a skill problem, we're talking about pug unsync farming. The problem with SoS is that one person messing up a mechanic can lead to a wipe where as you can lose half your party in Emerald Weapon or Emet Selch and still clear fine. So many mechanics are being skipped in the EW and Hades, and those two fights are quickly becoming brain dead easy as we get higher and higher gear score.
In terms of sync, of course SoS is easier than Emerald Weapon and Emet Selch, it's a much simpler fight to learn. I would even go as far as to say its easier to learn than Memoria Misera.
@@CamperCarl00 If its easier to learn than Memoria Misera (believe me i did that bad boi day 1) What is the complaints. Im still not understanding the only ones i Had absolute trouble with were Ruby weapon, Emerald, Hades on day 1. Honestly SOS on day one yeah wasn't easy but at same time I was over thinking mechanics. Its actually a simple pattern if people are struggling with this on Unsync...then that literally tells me they are no where near ready for Endwalker Ex trials. Im sorry but im still struggling to understand how this trial is still hard. Like i said I just did this yesterday made one mistake on CW and once I got reminded how the mechanic worked. I cleared this like 12 times in a row on unsync..... if people are struggling then maybe look at a guide. I would recommend Hector guide.

This is my last gwib, and from the video guide here I was petrified of going into PF for this fight. I just got out of one and I'll say - this fight is a lot less scary than it seems. Knowing what your clock position is, knowing what elements do what, and what his LB's are is most of the battle. With 6.2 gear score and DPS output what it is, you'll likely skip mechanics, or not be in as much danger of wiping.
Edit: That first party I had, and maybe one other party was good. The rest have been asinine horrible nonsense lol. PF really is a crapshoot.

Indeed. In fact I redid this one just a few days ago and we found a new strat that works great and allows for the skipping of all the summons in the last phase. I have it up soon, but we slowed down burn and made sure to see LB2 in phase 1 with the boss at 56% to 50% This gave us more time with him just enough to skip both the Ad Phase and Summons. Note - ice is not jump up and down, it is simply not being still in place.
Though jumping up and down helps prevent cleaving someone with earth

thanks for the updates to last patches extremes, but why are people that make mistakes "trolls"? are all players supposed to be robots? and have no distractions?
Oh no Sur James, they are not. Believe me when I tell you this dude was trolling us for several rounds, wasn't my party, and was the last time I ever do a farm as not the leader because I would have kicked. People did ask, but the leader didnt care i guess. That being said, be warry of this, because it happens a lot. by that i mean, people trolling pf partys. They do it for tiktoks, memes, yt shorts, the works.
@@moonshadowfantasy alright if it was intentional thats a different story, like in my case i watched this video, and as you know theres a difference between watching a video and actually doing, and it had also been awhile since i had done the raid so my timing was off and i didnt go back in time for the first meteors (thought i had more time after the earth mechanic) and that wiped the party, i think someone else might of been out of position as well? but after that someone else left
in my experience too many people expect perfection and just want to get their mount and leave immediately after
@@jamesw8698 I agree totally, I'm not like that I assure you. In fact as an fc leader, and teacher its my job to be more understanding then others. Tho I'm not immune to the other kind of trolls in PF, wile I was learning the savages I had a few people make fun of me for failing a mach, so I know how it feels as well. I just brush it off tho, because Trolls be Trolls. I even had a fight break between a girl and boy in discord wile doing a savage. Humans be Humans too, lol
@@moonshadowfantasy oof hate to see it when fights break out like that, actually did my first savage attempt this expansion set and it seems easier than i thought it would be, unforgiving, sure, but i thought the mechs would be more difficult than they were
Most people don’t mind mistakes. If you’re making them frequently, it’s more likely that you’re just unable to actually farm it without people carrying you and I’d rather not carry someone like that. Too many people scrape by a clear without learning the fights, then join farm parties for carries

Still not very cheesable, definitely bring along a couple of people who are well practiced already and a good natured squad if you're new. This one is still quite challenging and punitive if ppl mess up. Death def appeases the gwiber god tho, the roughest runs I did last time farming all had mount drops lol

for the earth animation do you mean the animation of the attacks? or what attack he is going to use like the sword ring attack?
Earth Attack is the one that everyone stands around him in a different clock position to bait the "Earth" aka Rock animation that shots the ground rocks at you.
Oooh ok! How would you rate this after endwalker? Is it still hard and how fast can it be cleared with unsynced?
Believe it or not people still can't even do bahamut tethers properly without wiping the raid... FOREVER STUCK ON IT.
Isn't possible to Unsync that solo by now? Or you talking about ultimate? The cutsceen at the end of is awesome and very unique, I hope you get it. 🙏
doesnt that mean you can just have the dps move the tethers?
If the healer and tank get the towers, and if the damage from the tower and the ads don't kill the tank, I don't see why not, is all a matter of up time and dps like melee not being able to reach the ads. It would make it harder to pull of and organization but yes it's possible.
