Well, actually this is signature Rich Harrison Sound. I checked song "Let Me Show U the Way (Out)" you mentioned that sounds similar. Will all respect, it does not. That song is produced by No I.D., who produced more R&B/Hip Hop tracks with power sub basses (which were used on that song as well). But Rich's sound is more percussive, with simplistic chords and strings. Rich definitelly perfected that sound on Amerie's "1 Thing" and from that song, many artist wanted that exact sound. You can tell that Rich used even the same drum pack that he used on "1 Thing".
Rich Harris really brought DC culture to the forefront with his production. GoGo music is unmatched.

Another 'could have been a hit' single for Toni Braxton. Toni's efforts to bring the best singles/albums during the 2000's deserved more recognition. More Than A Woman, Libra & Pulse are some of her best works.

Toni Braxton your 🔥, this record sounds like ameris one thing and Julia get right, I think this was the sound they were going for in 2005, this one surpasses in quality and vocal styles, ahead of it's time ,

That’s definitely her singing the background. Sometimes background vocals aren’t listed. Depends if there’s a deal or contract in place.
