    IMS giving clarke a run for its money a bigger tank without the fitment issues they neglected to fix for so long.

    Something I've always wondered about large tanks like this... how does the fuel get from the right side to the left? Do they have some kind of passive pumping? Or do you eventually just have to tilt the bike over when running low on the petcock side?
    Also, does the lower tank segments block airflow from the engine? Will it run hotter due to the enclosed nature of the new tank?

      @luvnotvideos A small amount of fuel can be caught in then side opposite the fuel valve. Some have dual petcocks but this one doesn't. I have a full review of this one in the works. I was able to lean it over and get just a few more miles out of it. As far as I can tell the engine is running plenty cool in the summer heat with this tank. Stay tuned! Overall I'm very pleased with the tank and got over 200mi out of it on one fill up. And that's a hard 200mi!

      @@PSBEadventures Thank you for the reply! I look forward to the future reviews. Range anxiety is real and I love the idea of a custom fitted tank. The Clark copy of the XT350 looks good, but requires a ton of customization to fit. This just might be the golden ticket 😀

    Nice straight installation and fit. I actually like the looks of the tank but that's subjective I know. I learnt somethin' new on slitting the stickers for plastic gas tanks. Thanks for that. I saw somebody on the TW200 Forum post they adjusted the carb inlet hose connection nipple 90 degrees to the left (pointing now at the fuel tank petcock for a straighter flow from tank to carb. I guess in theory this would help avoid the hose hump as the original carb inlet sits. Who knows if this would actually matter.

      Awesome! Yeah, I figure I'll do about 3000mi on it or so and see how she does on getting it all out, how far it'll go on reserve etc. Have a good one man! Thanks for stopping by!

    I believe if you the fuel gets low it should siphon after it's running but what I don't get is how you get the gas from the right side of the tank (because of the bar) to the left without a cross over (unless I missed something)? It's still worth having the bigger tank but leaning the bike over to get fuel would be inconvenient while riding but better than running out. Nice video!

      I was thinking the same for transfer from right to left.

      I filled the bike to the rim today, I'll be doing a review on all that in the near future! Make sure you keep an eye on the channel!

      The OEM tank........matter of fact pretty much ALL motorcycle tanks have that issue. You can get the last of the fuel from the right side by leaning it to the left.

    Question of tank... Wonder if it will get damage or something on the low part of tank being so close to engine warm part?

      @PSBEadventures  7 месяцев назад

      Seems to have adequate room between it and the engine

      Haven't tried it personally. I don't mind the tubes so much. The IRC HD tubes seem to last a long time
