I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

This is the content we should have more of. First time I got behind my backhoe it took me couple hours to get decent with controls and about a day to get comfortable with it. After that you kinda work just by muscle memory. Kinda like driving manual transmission.

It's the sideways action on the right hand (bucket) that I find unintuitive, because the control input is not in the same direction as the machine movement. Everything else is easy.

Considering here in my local area where we're fairly rural and not ultra rich and companies charging for excavator Ops/machine and easily get 200hr (genrally a good bit more) you'd kinda expect to be taking home 60hr but your lucky to get 35, alot less if you've got less than 10yrs. Only plus is genrally there's alot of machines here that have some modicum of cab climate controls (heat/ac) so least you can get away from the elements SOME of the Time unlike the groundmen (im one of those op types that'll readily jump the seat to go lend a hand when I see em slipping unlike alot of the cab princesses I see in this next generation of ops. Your there to get a job done, get the hell out when ur not busy and lend a hand so we all can get home and enjoy a beer fast you turd.

You only need to wear it outside of the cabin. Usually operators takes it off so it doesn't get the floor messy with dirt. Also you can feel the pedal better barefooted

Presumably barefooting is done to get a better feel for the movements and subtle vibrations of the machine as part of the training process, isn't it? Otherwise, it's hard to think that someone buying good machinery for their business saves on good work uniforms and shoes for their employees.

Helicopter pilot and flight instructor here. It is a known fact that people with a background working on big machinery like this pick up flying and hovering way faster than other people! It's the coordination and fine tuning of skills Including multi tasking that develops that part of the brain
Just because you can make the machine move does not make you an operator. It makes you a lever puller. In this case through, it makes you a danger to yourself and anyone within the machine's reach.
