Its Awsome when you show Beautifully Finished and Painted hot rods instead of the unfinished rust buckets or better said "patina". It's also totally awesome to hear the exhaust instead of music 🤙
Hey Tim, thanks for filming and posting this, we ran out of time at the Ducktail run and had to miss the James Dean. Heard several comments among the car show guys that they actually prefer the James Dean show, as it is less crowded and more laid back. What is your take on that?? Really wish there was a spring show also, just so much to see!! Thanks buddy!
They are 2 GREAT shows but 2 very different shows. Ducktail has the cruising all thru the show (it kind of goes in a circle) while James Dean is more laid back. Ducktail has nightly Flame throwing competition while James Dean (town of Fairmount) has activities going on in their downtown area. Kind of like a big festival, plus they have the James Dean Museum and Grave site to visit. Also there must be 50 - 75 different yard sales to go to in Fairmount during that long weekend. Best thing to do is spend a long weekend there and go to both shows/towns. Both towns are next to each other and can be accessed by the highway or a country road. Sorry for the long response............... 🙂

What is the pale green car at 16:03?
1940 Lincoln Zephyr in Surf Green built by VooDoo Larry.
Turn out of cars and swap on friday was very low. Was this Saterday?
Yes
indyannie also has the best maters
I've noticed that too.
People don't seem that freindly driving by.
Yea, there were a few grumpy ones that morning. I think they were upset because of the long line getting into the show.
