  • With this years slow start to winter we ventured out to Togwotee for our annual weekend trip. We knew the snow was going to be bad but rescheduling wasn't looking good. Austin and Casey brought out some old iron. We had some good times but will be finding a different destination for next years January trip. We broke 2 lower a-arms, one front bumper, 2 TKI belts, a water pump on the 98 mod, and a 12 pro burnt down its top end. It was quite the trip. As always good times were had by all but with Togwotee Lodge being under new ownership and closing the bar/restaurant area by 8:30pm and just being ignorant about it left us planning our next years trip anywhere but there. Hopefully they can bring back the old ways of Togwotee since we have been going there for almost 10yrs straight.

We were there mid February, snow was good but not great.we stayed in a cabin.what bothers me about the lodge is after the kitchen closes, there is zero options for food.not even a bar pizza.its like they treat it as a 5 star restaurant.dont get me wrong, the menu and food are great but it wouldn’t be to much to have a pizza oven for after hours.other than that the staff were great, polite and inviting.we never got asked to leave the bar and it was super slow.just a handful of people in the later hrs.they stayed open!

You were 4 weeks early for the good snow this year!

Seems like we time our trip wrong every year there. We’ve tried everything from mid December to February and it’s always just bad luck.

Never have any issues with Togwotee later in the season (End of Jan). Otherwise this is a pretty ignorant video, seems like you're more mad about the snow conditions then the lodge its self. And they have been under the "new" ownership for 10 to 12 years now. So you never knew the old ownership.

We were loyal customers till this year. They ruined it for us. The general manager called us and said that’s the 3rd similar review they’ve had this winter. People not wanting to work and going home by 9. Left us not wanting to go back which sucks because we use to love Tog

So that’s Togwotee’s fault that the us work force doesn’t want to work. They are doing the best they can to be open so you people can come. Things change learn to adapt. You have know idea what this staff has to go through to serve people like you. Just be happy you’re able to do the things you love.
