Very honest song. So true of kids today in NZ, many have tough experiences. We have to stand up for each other at every age, not sit back and be quiet. No one approves of bad behaviour but we have to show it too, not just talk about it. School is a great place to start strengthening kids, since all the problems from home seem to show up there.

Yeh could be the NZ School Anthem for sure. Our schools got problems because the kids bring their home-life problems into school with them. Sadly the teachers can only do so much. More could be done at schools to really boost our kids and teach them right from wrong if they don't get it at home.
As a child of the 80's foster system I know what it's like to fall victim of the desires of evi, I can only recall my older sister standing between me and them
