hi, he spoke mainly about flashing chips in general. this is not how ecu works. with flashing ecu you need pass a seed/key calculation. you can google seed/key calculation or check www.adamengineering.co.za
Suppos in one unit we have PBL, SBL, and APP Now I want to update boot tune while updating PBL first sbl load then pbl. So why do we use sbl to update PBL?
Can you explain on memory level how secondary boot-loader will do the booting up of the application? Also with existing second boot-loader what happens when a new firmware application is flashed ? how does the update of the new firmware application happen?

Is BRES - Primary Boot-loader and VFBL - Secondary Boot-loader as per his explanation ? Most of the code of BRES is provided by vector only ?

If the on chip or primary bootloader has the USB drivers, it can be flashed otherwise no.
