America is a bigger threat to the EU than China if Trump gets elected
Yeah, better watch out! Those evil Chinese who haven't been in a major conflict for over 30 years and is bankrolling the green energy transition. We better stick with the trusty US of A! Wars are fun! I mean if we improved relations with China they might do horrible things like finally building that EU train network within a reasonable budget greatly improving the economy. Wouldn't want that! Better send more billions to Israel and the dozen or so other wars the US/EU are fighting...

They talked about Spanish politics and probably received a lot of flak, like all their recent videos about Spain. Most likely.
The EU should forge closer cultural, economic, and geopolitical ties with India, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam in fighting undesirable Chinese geopolitical hegemonic plans.
That'd be a radical way to go with Asian countries. Escalating anything with China would be bad and may cause possible wars. Least we'd want Asian countries to worsen their relations with their biggest neighbor.

This merely happened because China are on difficult question on how they're positioning themselves in foreign policy on unprecedented Russia-Ukraine war in 2022, and US pressures in Biden and Trump administration. China and Iran are more preferable option 'Eastern bloc' country to for EU to have good relations with, compared to Russia with their proxies sought to dis-unite members countries with proxies for quick grab influence in European countries members. And Ukraine gambit's in 2014 make worse.
That’s Europeans with everything though. They have the same attitude with what’s happening in Ukraine vs whatever happens in other continents.

I love the sidejab in the sponsor showing Xi Jinping while talking about hidden forces trying to steal your data. xD
Now the EU understands the US pain 😂 how the US feels when China steals from you and tries to ruin your economy
To be fair, both the EU and US have been lax on China, but that doesn't mean the EU is coming around to doing US bidding on China, which is really what the US wants, the EU are more likely going to look at relations with China on a case by case basis, depending on industry, which will likely mean continues trade with them even if the US doesn't like that.
Either way, both the EU and US should spread the risk when it comes to trade and do more with more parties around the world so not any one of them has too much of a hold over you, after all, the biggest mistake the EU and US have made when it comes to China is empowering them with so much trade, whiles the country has hostile policies towards you, well especially towards the US, in any case, the EU and US will do what's in their own interest regardless of all this.

Hi
Lol @ China only having 5 explanations for everything
Germany really calls out Serbia’s genocide (of 8000 people) while ignoring Israeli genocide (of 40000 people and counting…) 🤡🤡🤡
I think some of the backlash against China is part of not understanding this otherness and forgetting that "We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal"... but China's behavior in the South China Sea is indefensible.
Everyone spies on everyone. Not saying it's right, just that I doubt China is the only one doing it.
Scale matters. Everyone spies on everyone, but the scale of US spying was shocking when it was revealed.
I’m pretty sure America spies on the EU more than China does if we’re being honest
@@RetroRadianceLightwell yeah, a white guy spy or a chinese spy that can’t speak mandarin will stick out like a sore thumb.
Probably, but there would be a difference in what is being spied on, and there is another huge difference between being caught doing something, and someone saying "everybody's doing it"

Ended on bad news if you ask me.
Why is the EU sending money to Israel? Boggles my mind.
To fight islamist insurgency
Becasue Israel at the end of the day is an advanced western country and is surrounded by ideological religious extremists. It's easy to blame Israel as it is much more powerful being a Western country but we must also understand the clash of culture between Western country facing enemies that are religious zealots that refuse to advance their country out of ideology. The issues you see in Israel also impact Europe like a rise in minorities in Europe that could lead to similar problems in the future, not to that level of course but it is a problem between Western culture and society when it meets extremist ideology.
Because once a coloniser, always a coloniser.

Lol I just looked at the title and I got to say, you need some more continuity in your videos TLDR. Because just yesterday I watch your Axis of Evil video and you make this huge point about how China’s not a pariah because Europeans still are very friendly with China and don’t have the same attitude as America… and then the very next day I wake up to this video. You guys look silly when you do stuff like this.
They don’t have to side with anyone. Their job is to report the news as it is
@@princem5155it’s not about siding with anyone… I usually like their videos, but they can’t argue two contradictory points simultaneously as if both are true. Either China and the EU are great pals right now or they’re moving apart. This isn’t a “3 reasons Biden will win” and “3 reasons Trump will win” video series where they purposely argue for both to play devil’s advocate. This is not one of those times. This is just them saying one thing in one video and then immediately contradicting themselves the next day with another video.
1. That wasn't on this channel.
2. Multiple people write for each channel, who are each going to have their own perspective. In the West we don't just report what the government tells us to.
3. There's a huge gap between tensions increasing over Chinese spying and labeling someone a part of the "Axis of Evil." As far as we know, China is not funding paramilitary groups or terrorist cells in Europe, Africa or the Middle East. Spying isn't on the same level as Russia and Iran waging war in and near Europe. China's expansionist ambitions are far from Europe.

Also to be fair the compromised UN investigated itself and said it found itself innocent. We need a non Israel and non UN group to investigate those sorts of claims.

When did the Srebrenica massacre get renamed as genocide?
They do this every couple of years to create new tensions.
Tldr I love you guys, but I cringe from how you pronounce Dominica
Is it just me, or does anyone else get distracted by this presenters' hands constantly moving? It's hardly a big problem, but I've noticed that my attention keeps getting drawn to this presenter's hands, and it doesn't happen with the others. That could very well just be me though, so I thought I would ask if this happens to anyone else. It doesn't have any effect on my ability to understand what is going on, or my enjoyment of the channel so it isn't exactly a big deal, just slightly distracting.
Anyway, nitpicks aside, I haven't had a chance to really dig into the aid bill the US passed yet. I've seen claims that it is mostly money related to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, but I haven't seen any good breakdowns of the funding yet. I always like to check how much is money or new equipment being given away for free, how much is authorizing loans or foreign sales, and how much is the US military buying new stuff so that it can retire existing equipment and let the president send it off using drawdown authority. I personally find that just as important as which foreign country is supposed to be benefiting from the aid.
Wait, Israel fails to substantiate the claim? But then the report admits that the UN had to dismiss 9 employees for participation in the Oct 7 planning and attack? And Israel has named the 130 workers it was accusing right? And to get things done in places like Gaza or Syria, the UN usually directly employs people, contractors and representatives who are directly involved with the local authoritarian state and its enforcement arms, in order to be able to get some initiatives running on the ground.
So despite Israel's many many problematic stances, it seems very very hard to say that their claims arent valid in some concerning forms. Gutierrez is also far from unbiased with his problematic sympathies at times.
Also boo hoo for Serbia and Republika Srebska. Must be hard to here international institutions finally take a real stance on your country's serious past crimes, especially when you know that the renewed attention is your own fault for intimidating, bullying and harassing your neighbours and using dangerous rhetoric.
Also how is Dominica's 1998 law the colonial era's fault? Is it bc of the UK's troubling old anti-homosexual laws that might have been in place there before it?
