It is about "being so used to having to know what the laws are that you internalize them - almost like having a tiny policeman in your head." 2nd song is co-sung with his son Ace. It is about their "attempt to go snorkeling" in Cabo San Lucas the day before on one of the ship's excursions (I was there too and yes, there were stinging jelly fish).
