More WJ build up please 🙏. I'm 1 ton swapping my 2004 jeep grand cherokee limited edition 4.7 v8. Your long arm kit front and rear are badass on the trails. Can't wait to see how my jeep preforms on tons. Keep up the awesome work yalls are doing. God bless and keep wheeling 🙏
@madmikescustoms We have more WJ content coming soon! Thank you for the compliment! We'd love to see your WJ on tons. Our orange WJ, nicknamed "Pumpkin" is on tons and 40s. Let us know if you need any 1-ton swap parts!
Bone stock a wj will outflex an xj that has a 4” lift. All the wj needs a little more ground clearance to wheel safer. A 2-3” lift is the cheapest and can reuse a lot of stock parts to save money and run a 31” tire.
@@RustyJeepHole the 3 link suspension in the rear is what allows them to flex more than an xj with leaf springs. The xj is lighter and more capable of running a bigger tire because of this but wjs have a lot more room and are easier to work on.
@codybertram6122 @RustyJeepHol If you know Iron Rock Off Road, you know we love the XJ and the WJ platform. Honestly though we have never done a comparison between a stock WJ and an XJ before. That could be a good idea to try.
@johnj4571 The skid plate that wraps around the sway bar? Seen @5:40 in the video? The winch plate should share the same mounting holes as that OEM skid plate so it shouldn't case any issues.
@@IronRockOffRoad Yes, the skid plate that wraps around the sway bar @5:40 in the video. Not all WJs had the skid plate package. Thank you for answering my question.
Go full build 👍
@RustyJeepHole Stay tuned. We will see what kind of budget Charlie has for his Jeep.

I don’t think this is true but they’re both really great options. Wj is better camping if you like to sleep in the jeep

Can the OEM skid plate in the front be used with this *hidden* winch mount?

@johnj4571 We confirmed fitment with the OEM skid plate. It does work with our winch mount.
