"The healthy man does not torture others- generally it's the tortured who turn into torturers". That one really hits home. We need to protect all children from later becoming tortured souls and raise them to be healthy healers.
I agree, but I argue that we also need to be more empathetic toward the "torturers", even in adulthood, to help them overcome what should and could only be temporary distraught. Otherwise, we perpetuate their suffering and our own or the suffering of others who will inevitably come into contact with them. It's extremely difficult to do, but I truly think this is a turn we must take to stop the alienation and ultimate degradation of others for mistakes and wrongdoings that only hardens and solidifies their character to continue such behavior ad infinitum (which consequently slings back and causes more pain to healthy individuals). To be frank, we must take responsibility for aiding in the process of the tortured becoming torturers, and do what we can to prevent it and learn to recognize all "underdeveloped" persons as "children" to the extent that they have yet to cultivate moral integrity that allows them to live in harmony with dominant societal ideals and laws and recognize them as potential and assist them with their rising to the standards we collectively set. We label mental "illnesses" and people who struggle momentarily as "addicts" or "alcoholics" or "abusers" or "manics" that suffer in perpetuity due to the negative affects of the alienation that causes self-hate, insecurity, and so on which again, manifest pain and suffering into the hearts of the "healthy". We need to work together and stop alienating ourselves using archaic methods of social policing and recognize that the better the masses the better the individual, not the other way around.
Prevention is best because the cost to cure a "torturer" can be astronomical and the chance for failing to do so is very high. Because most torturers have a neurotic pride and would rather believe they are better than what reality shows them to be. Time to face facts. (1)Evil people are primarily created through bad childhoods. (2)And the modern Family Courts exercise the most power on who raises a child from a broken homes. (3)The results of these Family Court judges speak for themselves. With regard to choosing the most fit parent we have aggregate data for children with regard to {prison-rates, suicide-rates, teen parent-rates, graduation-rates, depression-rates, etc...). (4)The data shows that between fathers and mothers, HAVING A FATHER IN THE HOME has a FAR STRONGER impact in improving their children's lives than having a mother. (5)The data also shows with BOTH the father and mother are in the home, the child raising results are stronger than a single -father household. So women who divorce their husbands are choosing themselves over their children's well being. i.e. They love their ego more than their children. So by adopting the belief that Marriage Is primarily For Raising Strong Children first and not to make the parents happy, Evil in the world would shrink.
@@richardkalmwater5996 This is precisely the fallacy I'm refuting; viewing all uncultivated adults as lost causes. Sure, prevention is "best" but you're simply not rationalizing the consequence of letting those "evil" (non-confirmative behavior is a better term) adults roam free after your violent and harsh social policing that perpetuates the downward spiral that was first instigated by bad parenting. I certainly don't know all the answers, but I know that most people rise to the occasion and become high performing members of a community when they find/create purpose and responsibility and truly, somehow and someday, feel capable, valuable, and worthy of respect and love. I know this for a fact, and so I stand by my previous words; we need to establish a system that is designed to cultivate and develop moral and critical thinking beings (that is not dogmatic religion).

At 48 I tried writing “who I think I am,” it’s very difficult as I feel throughout the decades I’m different. I just keep writing in hoping that’ll I’ll be a little bit better each day.
What an independent, daring soul. What I like most about Jung is that he recognized and developed from believing to knowing that God is the infinite wisdom.
Don’t think ‘pausing ‘is Jungian? It sounds as though you’re frightened of what analysis might reveal? Indeed. Facing your shadow takes a lot of guts. But you won’t be whole without accepting the dark bits. Then you learn compassion for yourself and thereby others. Jung was an utterly exceptional brilliant man, whose scope of understanding of humanity was panoramic. This bots voice is a real bore.
@@janel342 Jung was approached by a medical doctor who told him he would like to become an Analyst (Jungian style). When Jung asked him about his life the doctor replied it was perfect - he said he had the perfect job, the perfect wife, in fact the perfect life. Hmm, thought Jung, the perfect life eh. So, he instructed the doctor to go away and the following week present him with any dreams he could remember. A week later the doctor returned and told Jung he dreamt of entering a large empty room, except there was a naked young child sitting in the middle on the floor covered in excrement. "What does it mean?" the doctor asked Jung. He replied that he didn't know and then told the doctor to go back to his perfect life and forget about being an analyst. What he went onto explain was that the native child covered in excrement meant was that the doctor had a deep lying psychosis just waiting to be awakened and that any form of analysis would do just that. Delving into the depths of the unconscious is and can be a dangerous activity and therefore one should take care and look before you leap, because there is more to the totality of the unconscious than simply the shadow to concern you. I recommend you read the first few sections of Jung's Red Book (Liber Novus) as you will find a description by Jung of his own initial experiences and how he said that 'Divine Madness' holds many similarities to a psychosis itself. All the best
No. I agree that you have to face it. Jung's own statement bears this out. We are beasts, we need to accept your inner beast. It's a shadow that exists even if ignored. You use your inner beast to fight another beast. Within legal constraints of course. We are taught religious, moral and societal constraints against being " evil", but psychopaths ,murderers, criminals etc don't follow these " rules". Believe me, these people exist, and you'll need to fight them one day, and if you ignore your own beast you'll be fighting yourself.
Look inside yourself (… a little, and then deeper and deeper until you get very deep), understand your personality as well as deep underlying scripts that underpin your character and ego, identify your imperfections and dark aspects as well as your strong and bright sides, accept yourself fully, explore the world, meet people, learn to distinguish between objective and subjective reality, accept people and the world as they really are, diligently build and tell your authentic story, but avoid arrogance, overconfidence in your views, and superstition and one-mindedness of any kind,… and do not take things so seriously or so personally, but immerse yourself openly and fully in every experience that life brings you, learn from each of them, because life is a service that expires pretty quickly
Carl Jung's profound insights continue to resonate today, offering invaluable life lessons. From introspection to integrating our contraries, his wisdom guides us towards wholeness. Analyzing dreams unveils hidden truths, while facing reality fosters growth. Understanding collective consciousness and refraining from judgment enriches empathy. Embracing vulnerability and telling our story propel us towards individuation.
At least half of ´his´ philosophy were already there in Hindu philosophy and sciences. Wouldnt be surprised if he read our books, just like Tesla and Einstein did.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” “There's no coming to consciousness without pain.” “Like plants, so men also grow, some in the light, others in the shadows. There are many who need the shadows and not the light.” “Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” “To be "normal" is a splendid ideal for the unsuccessful.” “If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.” “Where your fear is, there is your task.” -Carl Jung
I loved this, learnt so much by Carl's teachings. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO ❤️ your videos sincerely calms me down and makes me to accept and fight life struggles especially at times when my mind is in rush filled with rapid thoughts that is unable to differentiate between what's right or wrong anymore. This is so far the most genuine certainty I've ever known, penchant!
Jung broke with Freud's psychoanalysis and rejected Freud's method of sitting behind the client and other methods. Jung's main method was called active imagination and recommended to the person after the beginning stages of psychotherapy. However it is a mistake to call it "philosophy." Jung repeatedly said that he was doing empirical psychology, NOT philosophy.

When you make the decision and aware and discover your shadow the liberation/fear you feel at the same time is overwhelming. But once you are completely awake and see the big picture it will change your whole perception on people the world and the circulatory structure. It really does begin. All your senses will broaden you will be more sympathetic and understanding about the events, settings conditions and people. It becomes a responsibility a burden and also a gift. Honestly this is just a good opportunity to try and impress someone with a 5:min tube video on phycology for others it is a chapter in our research we have been doing our whole lives. The 1-2% that did discover some insight and opened an infant eye.. someone somewhere is going through the same experience except completely different.
7:02 No...this is a formula for disaster. Most people do not know the difference between their emotions and their feelings. The difference are huge. (a) With feelings, you pay attention to the PHYSICAL SENSATIONS in your body which are often messages from our unconscious minds. (b) Emotions are based in the ego and in pride, which prevents us from seeing reality. And when you can't see reality, your fall is imminent... NEVER trust your emotions other than a diagnosis of a weakness in you. However, I do believe in trusting the FEELINGS you feel in your body and understand what your unconscious mind is trying to communicate.
Analysis of your dreams is a difficult task. I misjudged a friendly talking cat, who told me that his owner was an old lady and the address they lived.
the sad thing about life is that most people give up on life on their first big failure. They didn't realize that should they overcome that challenge their life will be totally different.
Jung was a genius to be sure but it's important to remember that he forced his wife to accept his necessity of a mistress in order to explore his feminine side. She allowed because he seemed to be going mad. Or, was he manipulating her?
My marriage is the most difficult yet best thing I've ever done. Finding an honest person might be a problem though. I'm not honest though trying to be.
Inside and outside is the same or no difference. If you go outside you can sense the materialism, the truth and then you go inside you can analyse your findings outside what you sense if your analyse is in a genuine path.
I love the psychology of groupthink, some people can get so excited, it's those moments we should cherish. Enjoying life with our fellow man, even if such joy is misplaced. Life is about moments, if we don't take advantage of those moments and live a little what's it all mean?
Most think everything can be explained by science and can't believe it would lie to them for a profit. Most need to continue to believe in science for that's all they have and all they will ever have. Perfect as planned. Back in the box.
Carl Jung had mentioned the relations between micro and macro conceptions that amazingly enough are convincing but do not seem to be used in Politics! We could just look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs and imagine a big boot crushing it. This is not just about Socialism or authoritarian regimes, but about the widespread fear of being unable to control a smarter commonsense! More freedom would mean that ruling becomes more challenging but lifting the level of the 'ordinary ' would be matched with an upgrade of the extraordinary. The added bonus is that better informed people are against war, putting blood thirsty vampires under pressure. Recycling and green politics are at their best when Citizens are involved and heard. Recycling can involve from being a duty to being part of socio economic growth as this takes place when psychology and more transparency enter the world of Politics. Interactions between neutral Spirituality and Politics would go a long way towards associating knowledge with feelings. Respectfully Cults and Religions could practice their services under a non discriminating protecting umbrella. The first global exercise consists in stepping off our bikes and watching ourselves pedalling, a fun approach to introspection.
So many conflicting views in psychology I don't know how anyone makes progress. I think people just try everything until they feel what is right for them. Those who look inside awaken yet thinking too much causes mental health problems and we should all focus on mindfulness
Wouldn't you say there is a difference between consciously thinking/meditating about certain things and your constant thinking that goes on in your head? The later is the issue for me, the unconscious or at least undirected constant thinking.
A lot of times o listen to true crime podcast when i fall asleep and the events described often make an appearance in the main theme of my dreams.... Analyzes: i listen to a lot of true crime

Loved it, Jung was very insightful
Jung was cool! He liked astrology, & the psychic psychology!
Thank you so much for making this! God blesses you and your loved ones!
At least half of ´his´ philosophy were already there in Hindu philosophy and sciences. Wouldnt be surprised if he read our books, just like Tesla and Einstein did.

Absolutely amazing content! I learned a lot about Jung from this.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
“There's no coming to consciousness without pain.”
“Like plants, so men also grow, some in the light, others in the shadows. There are many who need the shadows and not the light.”
“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
“To be "normal" is a splendid ideal for the unsuccessful.”
“If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.”
“Where your fear is, there is your task.”
-Carl Jung

I loved this, learnt so much by Carl's teachings.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO ❤️ your videos sincerely calms me down and makes me to accept and fight life struggles especially at times when my mind is in rush filled with rapid thoughts that is unable to differentiate between what's right or wrong anymore. But just by watching or reading about philosophy, peace, patience and wisdom are brought within me once again, as I continuously do it. This is so far the most genuine certainty I've ever known, penchant!

Thank you Philosophies for Life!
Numerous great lessons in this video thanks a lot
First! Love CG Jung!! Thank you
Jung broke with Freud's psychoanalysis and rejected Freud's method of sitting behind the client and other methods.

Thank you for insight and encouragement 😊
Finally, Carl Jung's philosophy on this channel. Thanks man
7:02 No...this is a formula for disaster.
However, I do believe in trusting the FEELINGS you feel in your body and understand what your unconscious mind is trying to communicate.
thanks a lot. what a wonderful episode! next time Erick Fromm would be a good choice to talk about!
Good Introduction video. Individuation, however, is surely a life long process.
Analysis of your dreams is a difficult task. I misjudged a friendly talking cat, who told me that his owner was an old lady and the address they lived.
Exceptional, thanks
Outstanding presentation. 🤗
the sad thing about life is that most people give up on life on their first big failure. They didn't realize that should they overcome that challenge their life will be totally different.
Thank you for this.
Brilliant and profound.
Gloria in Excelsis Deo!
I never tire of June's works
Buddha went deeper into human psychology than anyone in human history, more than 2600 years ago.
This true and needed
Very well said 🔥
Channel your emotion and energy into what God tells you in human nature
Jung was a genius to be sure but it's important to remember that he forced his wife to accept his necessity of a mistress in order to explore his feminine side. She allowed because he seemed to be going mad. Or, was he manipulating her?
Admin of Carl Jung and the Creative Bridge Facebook page here: This is an excellent overview of Jungian psychology.
Excellent video, could you please do Alfred Adler and Carl Rogers?
HEY LESSON NUMBER ONE, LIVE YOU OWN LIFE!
How nice there is no music in background.
most such videos play irritating music that works on your nerve and distract you.
super good video on Jung

I’m 44. So far I learned. Don’t get married is biggest lesson I’ve leaned
My marriage is the most difficult yet best thing I've ever done. Finding an honest person might be a problem though. I'm not honest though trying to be.
Awesome video !
Thanks man this awesome
i love how much i have learned about mastering self❤️
Good, video! THX!
Before you do shadow work , know that it can get dark and very dark real quick but it is worth it
Yung is one of my heroes! 😌
Great video, thanks a lot
A mystic called him narrow minded people...Actually, he utilized fully the scientific method in the formulation of his theories.
Very refreshing knowledge
Good stuff 👏 👍
thank you
very helpful👌🙏
Thank you very much
Great idea
My doctor loves your work
great presentation
Most think everything can be explained by science and can't believe it would lie to them for a profit. Most need to continue to believe in science for that's all they have and all they will ever have. Perfect as planned. Back in the box.
Großartig ☺️
Great video
Tremendous video
Thank 🙇!

we already understand words, nothing beyond me that I don't understand. It all unfolds within me.
Contemplating...
It is the value of empty space in our hearts and mind that makes room for God
That’s why there should be a balance between the logical and the spiritual.
As Hans Kung said ..."Thinking won't hurt you."
A good book on Meditation is "Zen in the Art of Achery", by Eugen Herrigel.
Love this guy
So many conflicting views in psychology I don't know how anyone makes progress. I think people just try everything until they feel what is right for them. Those who look inside awaken yet thinking too much causes mental health problems and we should all focus on mindfulness
Wouldn't you say there is a difference between consciously thinking/meditating about certain things and your constant thinking that goes on in your head?
The later is the issue for me, the unconscious or at least undirected constant thinking.
Are the work-life examples in these videos a cry of help from employees at POL? Great video. Thanks for posting
