Spa Guy, Rob and Trey,all toys you guys mentioned bought back memories our oldest Son “born in the seventies “ had those toys, including the banana bike. Rob ,yes my oldest had a Sony Walkman as well. Trey, you also bought back later memories second and youngest Son,also had Nintendo 64 Sure miss those days! However,we are making new memories with our four Grandchildren ,they are so very special to us, As your grandchildren are to you and Your wife Spa Guy! Now memories from growing up I In Italy ! Christmas was a big family celebration with lots of food ”fish.” But no gifts because the Christmas celebration in Italy was to celebrate the birth of Jesus. In the “New World America “ I Carrie on the European tradition ; with the family ,a lot of food and guess what? In the scene you are referring to the kids heard a missionary was giving away Christmas presents. They had to recite a bible to get a present. Elizabeth recited a Bible verse and the missionary gave her a present which was the baby doll that was missing an eye…a used Christmas present guess you say back in the day. I’ll never forgot what was said afterwards and it has always stayed with me: “Nobody gives anything away worth keeping.”

Sorry to hear about your dad Billy. I lost my dad in 2018. My dad wasn’t perfect but some days I really miss him.
