The Long Dior jacquard coat is a classic. The suiting/ tailoring and wide flowing pants in the Fendi are absolutely on point, not to mention I loved their white cropped shearling jacket giving me very early 2000s vibes.
I watched several SS22 shows, and I was honestly whelmed. Imo, Fendi was by far the most interesting and had the most fabulous pieces. Kim Jones is easily leading the pack. Chanel was unexpectedly good. I reckon it was Virginie's most accessible collection thus far. I also liked that the runway was more economical, instead of spending millions on useless props and sets. Dior has become very boring to me, and I'm annoyed because they keep releasing new bags, flooding Instagram with influencers' marketing, then ignoring those bags after 1-2 seasons. If you don't stand behind your own products, why expect the consumers to buy them? Btw, YSL pushing catsuits just as their global ambassador, Zoe Kravitz, is staring in the upcoming Batman film as Catwoman 🤔 coincidence? I think not!

The Dior bag comment 😂 - the idea of flexing on a quasi literate child is so hilarious to me, any mom that has it will be raising a fashionable kid! (And if they buy them a matching micro Dior?? YES). Loved how bright and colorful some of the shows were, Chanel was a little campy in the best way and I enjoyed the callback to the 90s supermodel era. When I watched the Saint Laurent show I thought every ounce of the models’ concentration must be focused on those heels, I was nervous for them lol. Overall don’t think anything is joining the wishlist, I liked some of the Chanel RTW but I’m not quite there yet in life lol. Hopefully that means some permanent items knocked off my wishlist then I can focus back on seasonal stuff again next round!

Love the breakdown! The Dior Rasta collection circa 2000's played on a Crescent moon/hobo shape reminiscent of the new cannage shape. Also the papillion/ cylinder shape most brands have done a version but the Hermes does look interesting . Love the discreet logo placement tho. Preach 🙏😘

Honestly I’m so excited for platforms to come back in because they’re so much more comfortable than a stiletto heel which I personally can’t walk in. Like you can get a five inch heel but it’s still somewhat comfy. Also, Chanel just doesn’t do it for me anymore, don’t care what the designs are, the company themselves are just icky.

I'm not surprised at the Fendi First bags being so popular and (as a result) having more variations for SS22- I'm not much of a Fendi person and I like them. I also enjoyed the Tom Ford show and a few of the SS22 pieces

Honestly I’m so excited for platforms to come back in because they’re so much more comfortable than a stiletto heel which I personally can’t walk in. Like you can get a five inch heel but it’s still somewhat comfy. Also, Chanel just doesn’t do it for me anymore, don’t care what the designs are, the company themselves are just icky.
