Thank you Mark Ronson. I treasure any post by people who actually knew Amy and loved and respected her. She was a sweet, fragile little girl looking for love, So sad she didn't find it and that she left us so soon. Much of what's posted on RUclips I can't watch and wish would be taken down, but the genuineness and deep emotion of other performances brings tears to my eyes. RIP Amy.
The last 15 seconds made me happy as well as sad as I teared up. I'm an old dude but her pure talent and passion and knowledge of music was once in a lifetime, if even that.
I knew of her but two weeks ago it popped up on my phone so I actually went through her life history sad to say I didn't get to know her cuz she's already passed I live here in the US and Montana very awesome person old soul beautiful music and very beautiful from what I'm gathering she started Young healthy and then she met up with Blake that's when Amy started doing her bad habits she did love this guy I think she was lost without him for shame on him though for doing what he did to her leaving his girlfriend going back to her leaving her going back to the girlfriend Karma comes in threes makes you rest in peace
What a loss. She seems to have been one of the last top vocalists who really sang on recordings, which can't be said about most singers, nowadays. I'm afraid the general public is going to get used to the neat and clean, perfectly processed voices and prefer them over real, soulful singing.
I honestly dont like amy's version of valerie. The zutons wrote that song on a guy's perspective, so a girl singing that doesnt make any sense, let alone with her happy jazzy dont fit with the story of the song.
why does that guy sound like he has marbles in his mouth. english people invented the english language but they are literally unintelligible. edit) i just watched amy winehouse' 'valerie'. everybody thinks that she is some kind of god's gift to singing but WTF she is nothing more than the british version of courtney love.

We miss Amy . Bless her
I can only imagine the future projects he had lined up for her
Great cover. Really was. Not a lot of people do justice to great songs when they do it but she did a great job
Rest in peace Amy Winehouse 🙏
love it,,, from a mate who really gets it.. i love it.. interview on

Zutons didn't do a version of it they done the original, it's there song.
@@mrjasondylan well that still never answered the question but thanks anyway
this guy now has an American accent, master!
The zutons valerie is the only version i need. Not to discredit amy in anyway
Would love to hear the Curtis Mayfield style ... alternative version.
I believe it's the bonus track off the deluxe edition of "Back to Black". Should be able to find it here on YT.
It’s on net posthumous album. It’s called Valerie (68 Version) or something like that.

Mark Ronson sounds... High or drunk? Slurring his words.
Does Mark Ronson have a speech impediment?
Another lamentable victim of the 27 club. Alas and Alack, oh what could have been.

Listen to the live version she did on radio 1 lounge
All Mark Ronson does is jazz rearrangements of pop songs. And then he has access to marketing. His music is garbage when compared to the originals.
Absolute crap!
Honestly, i think she butchered valerie.
Sounded like she was on something. After seeing Bruno Mars live tribute version I thought he nailed it and should have been the one to record it.
I agree
Look up the version that Tawiah did live. Definitely my favorite version of the song.
@@joegar317 i like that version. Reminds me of the pinettes version
@@nkcbrazilBruno mars? Are you fucking kidding me 🤣
