Blockade happened BEFORE the rockets. Rockets were the response to the blockade. Blockade entails no movement by land air or sea, extremely limited imports and virtually 0 exports allowed, which basically means that Gaza is fully cut out of the world.

Rather than undertaking its duty of protecting the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, Israel has been placing Palestinians under a suffocating blockade, which constitutes an unprecedented form of collective punishment in a stark violation of international humanitarian law.

Yeah, th.3r3 r settlements in the west bank and the treatment of pals could be much better (to say the l.3ast) and since 2008 the governments oppose a two stste solution. Blockade happened BEFORE the rockets. Rockets were the response to the blockade. Blockade entails no movement by land air or sea, extremely limited imports and virtually 0 exports allowed, which basically means that Gaza is fully cut out of the world.
The notion that everything that Gaza does is "because of" something Israel does is unmitigated nonsense. Why is it that Gaza never has agency and is never responsible for anything it does? Every country on the planet controls its borders and determines who and what goes in and goes out. Yet somehow if Israel controls its borders it is doing something terrible? Here's an idea Palestinians- do what Israel did and figure out how to grow things yourselves.
