Now this is skilled archery!
I like it more than shooting olympic recurves but lets be honest: string walking works very much like having a sigth, only placed in the string instead of in the riser. Is easier than instinctive. Being said that, I love that lets you to use modern gear (carbon arrows, metal risers, arrow rests and plungers... ) without huge stabilizers.
@@Buran01 String walking is way harder than having a sight.
@@petarvelagic8127 Is harder, yes. Also, shooting instinctive is also much harder. In all of those shooting/aiming modes "being good" requires skill. So I don't understand Dracus comment: in any tournament, you will face competition wielding equipment in your same category, and shooting at their respective targets. Aiming with a compound or olympic is easier, but their targets at 18 m have a 2 cm "ten", whereas in barebow and traditional the center circle has a 4 cm diameter, so the area surface is more than the double. I shoot both barebow and compound and I would say that scoring good at compound is harder, because "just doing 9's you won't go anywere".
@@Buran01 Barebow has the same target as olympic at 18 m. Instinctive has larger. The diference between barebow targets and olympic and compound targets don't have 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 circles. So this guys could shoot at compound targets and nothing would be different.
@@petarvelagic8127 Compound at 18 m: 10 is from 0 to 1 cm radius (2 cm diameter) from center, 9 is from 1 cm to 4 cm radius; in barebow the 10 is from 0 to 2 cm radius (4 cm diameter) from center. Outside the 9 score line both are the same, but inside the gold the 10 for compounds means hitting a 0.1 € coin whereas for barebow the 10 has exactly x2 that diameter.
Bravissima Cinzia!
For anyone interested in cumulative scoring: Lina 136/150; 9.07 points per arrow.
Cinzia 135-136/150; 9-9.07 ppa her score depends on the final arrow call. This is still better than I have ever done: 8.89ppa with 18 arrows from my target recurve.
Great match.
Permainan barebow yang sempurna ❤
Grandissima!
