Love the mushrooms. You probably have already cleaned everything, but for future reference. You can absolutely clean them with rubbing alcohol. Just get the majority off with a paper towel, then clean well with alcohol. However, what I like to do.. since the resin is no longer toxic once cured. I cure it while it's in/on the plastic container. Then I just squeeze a little and it pops right off. Sometimes I might have to poke at it to get it loose. This works best on any plastic that is smooth and shiny. If it has scratches, or is rough, it may not work as well. I've done this inside the capsules, inside lids to my laundry detergent, all kinds of stuff.. heh Works great. Also, silicone measuring cups are great for this too. (not any you will reuse, of course) Just cure and pop it out. If you run out of things to make wicks, you could just pour them, then paint the wick tip (if a bubble doesn't get trapped there, with nail polish or paint) Also, you could definitely make some real candles with these. Buy some tea lights, use the wicks from those, or just buy some actual wicks in bulk off amazon, then pour in your wax from a candle and let it cool. Just have to have something to sit it on if you decide to actually burn it.. or just put in a small wick and it will only burn halfway.
Initially I wasn't super interested in the new lifestyle sets but I have to say, after watching this I definitely want to try and find this one. Also, with fall coming up, some Halloween mushrooms could be cool. Maybe a green/orange or green/purple?
The mushrooms r my favorite too! I have gosh 100's of resins lest so it's been fun just mixing n matching diff colors. I also did some with mica powder soo awesome looking. Luv the teapots too even without the handles still cute. These r by far my favorite just due to the molds! On the wicks I used some thinner yarn. Dipped it in clear resin n it worked perfect I also found some small wicks at hobby lobby and they fit perfect as well. I do the same just cut little pieces n use my tweezers to pop em in.
I thought the yarn and resin trick might work, but haven't tried it myself. Once I realized you didn't need to put a wick in, I've been throwing all left over resin in there lol. I don't even know what I will do with them all but they are just SO cute!!
Alcohol, you can use alcohol wipes or some on a cotton ball with tweezers to clean out resin.

All wonderful suggestions, thank you! I cured what was left in the pouring cup and it did pop out pretty easily, which I wasn't expecting.
@@KitchenBricks Yeah.. I love that. It's so satisfying sometimes.

Good idea! I will have to see if I have green. I feel like that color isn't used too often.

They said no do not put resin down the sink. Alcohol should clean it out.

Just fill in the holes or missing ears and cure it outside the mold.
