I have that exact guitar, only with a scratch plate. Same color and everything. A genuinely excellent guitar...just wish the neck was a little bigger.
Lucky! I've got 4 Gretsches, but none of them is Cadillac Green.

I'm always impressed by Michael Lemo's playing, but that second thing that he played was just beautiful and I'm sure difficult for a mere mortal like myself.
I’m curious how old that guitar is. Was it mentioned or does anyone happen to know? It sounded beautiful as does every guitar Lemmo gets ahold of.
It can’t be that old. It’s not a roc jet. It’s a Duo Jet Players Editjon G6228BT. They’re still in production. They released them in 2018-2019 ish. I have one. They’re amazing.

@@josephcorcoran8714yeah, it's a Roc Jet. They had it listed for $1349, so it can't be too terribly old. Looks like it's sold already.

For me a Gretsch isn’t a Gretsch without a Bigsby.
What is the difference between the Gretsch Roc Jet and Duo Jet?
I'd say that's a Duo Jet in the video - the Roc Jet was introduced in 1969 when Gretsch were still owned by Baldwin, and discontinued in 1980.
They're a slightly different shape - mostly the bottom horn, and came with two volumes, two tones and a master volume in the usual place.
They originally came with Supertron pickups, a floating bridge and a tailpiece, but in 1977 changed to a combined stop bar bridge and tailpiece and regular humbuckers.
They don't seem to have the love the Duo Jet gets, but they have their charm I think, and if someone gave me one I'd keep it!
