Canon uses a vacuum system to hold paper down. What about Epson? Also with Canon you adjust the position of the print head above the paper. Can you do this with Epson? Also, does Epson offer in-home repairs and servicing?
Owners of the both the P700 and the P900 have reported issues with the front and rear feeders of both models. Unfortunately I was not aware of these issues prior to this week. On Monday I purchased the P700. On Wednesday I returned it back to the store because the front fine art feeder would NOT print to my third party fine art paper. I then purchased the P900. Both feeders of this printer will NOT print to my third party fine art paper. The paper that I am trying to print to is pro level paper from Moab and Canson. Epson is aware of the issues with the feeders. Why is Epson continuing to sell printers with defective feeders?
