Please describe your feelings after solving the cube with a ball core. Does it help you control your movements better? Is there at least a small automatic edge rotation? And how much difference does the diansheng 8x8x8 version with and without a magnetic core make? And is it worth buying an 8x8 cube with a magnetic core or is it better to save money and buy the version without a ball core? (there may be inaccuracies in my translation)
My pb improved by about 30 seconds with the ball core (4:2x -> 3:51), so it is definitely a big improvement. The ball core takes a bit more effort to turn but it is much more stable and that's why it's better. In my opinion you should buy the ball core because on most websites it's only slightly more expensive and it's actually cheaper than the normal one on CubeZZ
