Auburn is probably in the best position. Tennessee has great defense and a couple special offensive players but we don’t have depth. Injuries could drastically change Tennessee’s fortunes. After the first six SEC games Tennessee will have more Q1 wins. But Auburn is deep and look unstoppable.

I wouldn’t be shocked if UK don’t end up being in top 5 of SEC this season…but I also wouldn’t be shocked if they end up winning the SEC championship in March. 🤔
Here is a good way to put Auburn's SoS this season. They start SEC play ranked 10th in SoS on Kenpom but as the SEC grind continues Auburn's SoS ranking will decrease. This is when we will start hearing outside talking heads say Auburn had an easy SEC schedule blah blah.
Sup guys. Great show as always. I would like to say that the best win that an SEC team has this year is not Kentucky over #4 Duke, but it is Auburn over #3 Iowa State at Maui. Both on neutral, and Iowa State is ranked higher.
Say what you want but if you take a deep dive, there’s a bigger gap between Auburn and the #2 team in the SEC than the gap between thst #2 team and the #10… we are so different
Auburn looks real but a lot can happen, it’s still early, the SEC is being preferentially represented again, many teams have not beaten tough opponents in tough environments and yet they’re highly ranked LOL, and now we’re finding out that ESPN has been manipulating SEC football metrics LOL, perhaps we should stop using any rankings before conference tournaments for ranking purposes that affect seeding for March, like I’ve said auburn is the only SEC team looking very strong against a tough schedule , Alabama has no consistency yet ( at times they look bored, unfocused, not at all like last year) . Preseason rankings are nothing but regional bias becoming normalized by the media…..follow the money
So if you get a quad 1 win, and that team drops below the 75 mark in the metrics, is it still a quad 1 win because they were top 75 at the time, or does it go to wherever they finish the season?
Yeah Net ranking is a living ranking, adapting evolving has it goes. Last season Auburn got 3 Quad 1 wins in non con but by the time conference play started they dropped from being Quad 1. Last year Auburn got a couple Quad 2 wins by destroying Quad 1 teams and dropping them into Quad 2. lol Arkansas and Indiana were 2 of those teams.
Tennessee gets the nod because they are unbeaten but Auburn is right up there with their 1 loss and strength of schedule. Florida isn't far behind with their unbeaten record. The thing that makes Tennessee so tough is that they have the best defense in the league and an offense that has maybe the best point guard in Zeigler and the probable player of the year in the SEC in Chaz Lanier. They are truly built to beat anyone. I wish we got to see a home and home between Auburn and Tennessee this year. Unfortunately, we will only see them play in that highschool gym called Auburn.
@DanielStalnaker I don't bet but I would definitely take that if I was. I believe Auburn will probably win in Auburn but I would take Tennessee in Knoxville.

Auburn is far and away the best in the league and country. They have 6 quad one wins😂

How many SEC teams get in? SEC play hasn't even started yet, right?
Non conference play more so determines how many sec teams get in than conference play.
LET'S WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SEC PLAY STARTS FIRST TO SEE WHERE THE SHUFFLING IN THE CONFERENCE ENDS UP. GO VOLS!
