It would be great if Knotts was able to built this, too bad the new BBQ resturant is gonna open this summer. Great coaster, and good choice of color. Back in the day, Boomerangs original color scheme was Blue, but I think the color should be green to blend in with the colors of the Boradwalk. This new coaster will live up to Boomerang, if it ever gets made.

This roller-coaster could be true. Knott's Berry Farm has already closed and demolished Wipeout, The Boomerang will be closing on April 23, The Hawaiian like restaurant has been closed and demolished and construction of somthing has started where the restaurant used to be but Knott's Berry Farm won't say what they are working on. Also the iconic Sky Cabin, formally Sky Jump, has been closed for several months now because of an accident that happened in December of 2016, and she is currently just sitting there. Since all of this closing and demolishing is happening to some rides and things around the Xelerator and their all happening in the same area it is most likely that the rumors of this new roller-coaster could be true which probably explains why the Sky Cabin is the only right in that area that has not been taken down. I did contact Knott's Berry Farm and ask them why they were closing the boomerang and why the sky cabin has been closed for a while. Knott's Berry Farm still has not responded. so my guess would be is that Knotts is going to build a new roller coaster and they want it to be a surprise. I really do not want the Sky Cabin to be closed permanently because it is an amazing piece of Knotts Berry Farm history.
Hoping for at least 300ft in height, but since it's in close proximity to a neighborhood (West side of the park, boardwalk area) its unlikely but still possible. Supreme scream is 300ft tall and it's roughly in that area. Don't know if Buena Park has a limit on how high they can build because of noise or what not. They could use tunnels at the highest points to block the noise like California Screamin'. I suspect that's why they have a tunnel/shack on pony express because it's near a neighborhood on the west side of the park. I'm thinking they could've gone higher if it were built on the East (windseeker 300ft) or North (Supreme Scream 300ft) side of the park. Maybe the station will be in the boardwalk area, but the lift hill will be facing the East? Idk I just hope it's similar to Fury 325, high and fast, and it engages the Main Gate area which Cedar Fair seems to be a fan of with their other parks. Hopefully it'll be ready to go by summer 2018, one year before star wars land opens at Disneyland, that way it can build a reputation for knotts and lure away a few visitors for a day. Knotts does the highest attendance numbers for cedar fair (3.8 million in 2016) more than cedar point, their flagship Park. Here's hoping!!
