Great video Mark. Nice to see your new set up from a different aspect. Interesting antenna set up especially. At least you didn't have to worry about hammering the spike in #mudseason 👍
Mark. I'm putting my IC 705 and LC192 together. I've got a plastic breadboard that I have velgrove a Quadra Inovato linux device. Instead of lugging my CF 19 Toughbook, I can remote into the Quadra with my Android Tablet.
Given the super antenna is effectively a manual transmatch using the loading coil, I think i'd lose it, and use a couple of lengths of wire with the mat transmatch unit. You'd remove so much guff from your pack required to support the super antenna. No additional baseplates, no whip, no spike, etc. Add a lightweight carbon 6 pole from sotabeams and jobs a goodun.
Hi Mark, finally I managed to look you up on here :) (George_locations here from instagram,) very nice and informative video, thanks for sharing, will have a look at the others, tc n catch up on IG, best 73s de George
Thank you for the video Mark! I am planning to purchase the IC-705 along with the LC-192 and I am interested in many of the antenna choices and other accessories you selected for your bag. Would it be too much to ask if you would please provide the links to the components in your video description? Thank you again for sharing your information! 73s, N1PB
Great video. If you don’t mind me asking what is the antenna setup? Looks like a standard super antenna but I’d really like know what the folding whip is you are using.
I picked you up on JS8 40 m today. I note that you get the wireless for your computer from your phone, but is the pi running as a hotspot? BTW TNX for you JS8 utilities. VO1OK
The pi only runs a hat spot when it does not find one of my other WiFi networks. If it finds the phone WiFi it will connect to it and not create a hotspot.
Excellent video Mark.
Fantastic video Mark ! great small setup - de EI2GYB

Your equipment set is fantastic. I love how you take the best of the antennas systems to make your rigs. Thanks for the videos.
Sweet setup. 😀👍
Great content Mark. Thank you for taking the time to share your /P setup. Great to work you on JS8 today!

Hi Ron, I have another video in production right now that will be about my antenna system. I will include links with that when its done.
Great video. If you don’t mind me asking what is the antenna setup? Looks like a standard super antenna but I’d really like know what the folding whip is you are using.
It’s a buddipole mini shock cord whip. Theres a new video progress with more details about the antenna. Hope to finish it off soon.
Thanks Mark 73
Great video, many thanks!
Good video but would like more information on your antenna setup. Thanks, 73
Hi Jim, there’s a bit more detail about the antenna in this video - ruclips.net/video/WZqxvtAUH3I/видео.html

Do you have room in the bag for an antenna tuner for the 705?
At about 6 mins I take the tuner out and mention it :-)
Thanks for sharing
