I always thought their style of heavy was unique in a very cool way. Can't describe it. His vocals. The balance of melody. The crunchiness in the break downs feels like when I'm breaking through ice or something. Glad to still them doing it right.
No-one worshipped this band like I did in highschool. I grabbed the most neon red and blue hair dye and sloshed it through my mop. With labret piercing, I wanted to be James Hart
Fully agree. Their new album is great. I love how they returned to an earlier sound while also paying homage to their influences with their fantastic covers
I was there for this in the pit somewhere. Probably one of the funniest sets of the weekend they are still so heavy and energetic I loved it thanks for snagging this
It’s crazy when I first heard eighteen visions it was the album obsession. Love that album. Then I heard vanity and it was so different, more hardcore sounding than obsession. Then they released their self titled album and it was more hard rock sounding. I still love that album also. When they broke up I was sad, they were one of my favorite bands growing up. Then they come back with their old hardcore sound, and it’s good to see them return to form. I’ll always love obsession, and the self titled album, and even burn halo’s 3 albums. I grew up on rock n roll, so my musical tastes are all over the place. There’s just something about the heavy stuff I can never get enough of.
I'm so glad that he ditched that Scott weiland poofy hair and soul patch. And even the radio friendly song he's singing very hard core. This is a phenomenal performance.
Bet they'll rip at this year's furnace fest too! Just found out they're playing it through some reddit post, where everyone (of course) was bitching about them being there to play Obsession in full. Lol, they can all suck it... 18V rules. Big fan because of that album. Also sad to hear this'll be the last one. If I had the money I'd go there, even if just for them.
@@splipinski1980 Superstructure is the best release of the three bands.... but early releases are a bit too crusty more like Groundwork or Absinthe, that Southwest Sound..... knocks FS down a tad for me. Adamantium was consistently brutal across all releases and tight AF live.
@@Cheeseburger.Launch.Sequence Yeah, Superstructure is their best record. I was already into them for a couple years by the time Superstructure was released, so that earlier material is still canon to me. I like everything they’ve recorded, even the new stuff. Saw them once in ‘99 and again in ‘01 or ‘02. Fucking great band. And I love Groundwork, too. Not familiar with Absinthe. Saw Adamantium once when they were on tour with Bane. Maybe ‘00? I was into their first LP, but their later material didn’t do anything for me. I don’t really revisit them too much. Doesn’t hold up for me.
@@splipinski1980 Absinthe was another AZ band. Had the 10" on KOTM. They were related to Groundwork and maybe 400 Years before they moved east. Crusty, early metallic hardcore. Good. This band needs an Audiotree session ASAP. I'd never stop listening to it.
My high school blood boils up, so much nostalgia feeling here. thanks for recording this man 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Just to clarify - I had NOTHING to do with the recording or production of this video. I just happened to snag it before it got taken down.

There were a few associated bands from that era that ripped. 18 Visions, Adamantium, Fall Silent, Throwdown.

Yup thats def hunt lol 🤘🏻🙏🏻🖤
This just made my day. I fuckin love dead to fall and vanity is the most underrated fuckin album on the planet
Watching this getting hyped to see 18v is Wooster tomorrow. Great set and great job capturing it
To clarify. I had nothing to do with the recording or production. Just a fan who believes in preserving stuff like this for posterity.
I don't think he's in their budget but I legit have dreams of Ross Robinson producing an Eighteen Visions album. That shit would slap.
Maybe like in the early 2000’s. Back when they were sick as fuuuuuuck.
@@wuhan8014 I don’t know Ross doesn’t do that much stuff anymore ( I don’t think he needs the work)
You know 18v's still committed to the aesthetic when James' water jug is black too.
Thank you for sharing this, the 4 guys are sounding immense. Inferno ep kicked ass, can't wait to hear what they put out next
the godfather of fashioncore!
God bless you for this. Thanks a lot dude 🍻🍻🍻
God I want to see them live so bad
Jon Hunt of Dead to Fall getting down in the pit at 33:53. Legendary.
I still listen to the vanity album. Remember seeing them and throwdown at club laga in Pittsburgh back in 2002. It was awesome.
The re-recorded version of Vanity they put out last year R I P S!!!
It does but I still like the original better. Just what I'm used to
Until the ink runs out is a badass album too
The nostalgia is almost too much lol
Love this band. Sport em everywhere I go
this band still rules
Thank you so much!!! I was here!!!!!!!!
The INXS shirt is fire!! Love this hardcore shit, but also love those days in the late-80's early-90's!

I just saw Jon from dead to fall in the crowd lol
Thank you for this. Had to see Terror while Eighteen Visions were on, tough decisions.
I chose 18V over Terror but I'm making up for it by catching the Dying Fetus + Terror tour at a club venue in Greensboro, NC this weekend 🤘
