VW used to be over the road, where the casino now is. I had a Polo GTi and I absolutely loved it! Visited there recently with a view to ordering a brand new car, but they didn’t have any vehicles that ticked all my boxes. Skoda, few months ago one of their new vehicles caught fire and damaged at least one other car! Not sure if it was an electric vehicle but it makes you think! I would love to know what happened.

I have just bought a new car , this isn't a place I would ever be purchasing from must admit , and your his target market being a golf owner , the chap needs some sales training.
That first manager destroyed the reputation of his dealership. The man at the Skoda dealership did an excellent job, polite, open, agreeable, knowledgeable and very nice sir. It showed an unprofessional man compared to a professional man who enjoys his work. I hope the man from Skoda gets a lot of visits and sales from this video. If i was gonna buy a Skoda, then i would go to the lot that sells VW and just mock them and show them how they lost sales!!! I had bought a car when i was looking for one, i had went to a Mazda dealership in 2009 to buy a CX-7 full equip apart form the entertainment screen. The salesperson had told me that my credit wasn't good enough etc, although i wanted to put 25 000.00$ down, i own my house, the land, 3 vehicles for my work, my own company as well, and they said no. So at the time the price i was quote was about 42 000$, one of my friends and neighbour had bought one for his wife and wanted to sell it. He had a 2008, 12 000KM full equip, 4 winter and 4 snow tires on mags. I asked him how much?? He told me if for your own use and not to try to resell it, give me 18 000$ cash and it's yours, which i did the same day. After that i went back to the Mazda dealership, went inside and told the salesman not to worry, i got one and it was fully paid. One saleslady i knew was laughing at him so hard, as he just saw a sale walk out the window. For me having my own business, i have always paid everything cash and on the spot, no debt, credit needed. So for bank on paper my credit looks like crap to pencil pushers, if you have nothing on credit, banks think you' a bad payer and not worth the risk. As i told my sons, buy what you can pay without credit or interest, do not fall in their traps and on interests everywhere and everything. Do not become a slave, you are free and remain free!!!! Banks, credit companies hate people like me, we piss them off so bad, they have no control over us, none whatsoever!!!! I still own & drive that Mazda CX-7 today also. No interests, minimal maintenance all done by me or my sons in my driveway. How much did i save overall really?? Y don't know but the vehicle had cost me 18 000$ on purchase and that was it for the costs for 2009 till 2023. I' say that wasn't a bad deal at all and banks and credit companies = 0$ 🤣😂
