There was a patch 3.2 released few days back that did quite a sweeping changes when it comes to bf2042's 'battlefield identity', as in, they sorted specialists into old school classes (assault, medic, engineer and recon) with their own kits. That combined with bug fixes, map reworks, new/old content and balance tweaks since release, I'd say the game is shaping up pretty good. Though, sadly, I think in a few weeks we will get a season 4 with a new map, vehicles and weapons, then some smaller patches and that will be it for 2042.
they don't have time in their favor like "single-player" games like no mans sky do. That one you can buy at any time and have fun, giving them a bigger time window for fixes, but multiplayer games die at some point.
@@ghostdragon2282 That's very much true. But also NMS is a one in a million game that managed to make a comeback. There have been many games that were lost to mediocrity, because not many studios have the resources to keep on supporting their games post-release with actual content... but also when you sell millions of copies and the studio was like 10 people, I feel like they weren't under that much pressure when it comes to finances. But when it comes to AAA especially, they release a game, leave a crew to work on some content and finish up what they had in a pipeline. But the studio is by then already working on another title or rarely a full blown expansion pack and the crew still supporting the previous title is being pulled back to the new one when they are needed. And when it comes to 2042, there is no content worth paying for to keep the lights on for a AAA studio with over 700 employees. It is sad, but it is what it is...
They've already confirmed 2042 will get another full year of content so it has ample room to make a comeback, they've already teased Season 5 when talking about Season 4 and showing the new map's concept art. The latest update was a true gamechanger and now that that's out of the way they can do a ton more with it.
I actually really like the class system update they added in just this week. But it's just enough of a good change to be able to play the game like a normal Battlefield, not enough to enjoy it without friends to play with. Like... every Battlefield before it.
I would like to hear your chart of Alignments* on the high quality group* *1: chaotic good, lawful evil and so on *2: InternetHistorian, Max0r, Sseth, Martin and the others
InternetHistorian is dead center, Max0r is Chaotic Neutral, Sseth is Neutral Good, Martin is chaotic Good, Badger is Chaotic Evil, and no one is Lawful.
@@thegunman2841 I beg to differ Max0r is more akin to Neutral Evil (as he's a sentient editing software that craves Vtuber collabs and relishes in destroying our retinas), Sseth is Lawful Neutral/Lawful Evil (his love for abuse of economical systems in games speaks volumes) and Badger is straight Chaotic Neutral (in one video his entire group was called a bunch of Chaotic Neutrals and tbf he's not always advertising murder..... just very often)
Mr. Frog is a walking acid trip and I'm lovin it Also I know there are some negative feelings about Destiny but I'd recommend Rylee Reloaded and his absolutely insane challenges, I guarantee you'll love his humor and have a blast o7
Is it worth it to get the game on sale for Portal mode? That is really thing that interested me in this game. Also do they plan to keep portal mode going through the next few games?
I hope you didn't go for it, Portal sounds nice on the surface level, but without proper community servers that can run 24/7 and edit their parameters more in-depth... It's just better to actually play the older games.

Battlefield 2042 wasn’t just technically broken. The game design, the music, the classes, the battlefield identity wasn’t quite all there
oh yeh sure bf4 was a bit broken but that was it, it just needed patches and what not
Yes my man keep it up with Martin's videos
edit: pls react to Combat gods 1 & 2 you will love it i swear the fights are 10x better than most anime
As for backblast being in the game, it's already in the engine as BFV has the same thing

The NTW-50 reminds me of the Kraber sniper from Titanfall 2.

Tcz
Do you have ya PERCS
The thing about the backblast is that they already had it in BFV so its just a matter of copy and paste
Didn't fix c5 launching? Like i don't think it's as good as bf4 but it still works
You should redownload 2042 for the spaceship map it's map event is pretty good not as good as bf 4 but still good
uh hydra's are a mythology thing -_-
Do you have any interest in maybe doing a reading of "The All Guardsmen Party"?
Hey im fast here so ill recommend 'The Beard's TF2 comic dub.
You should watch a crap guide to dnd by jocat
ever since Bad Company 2 Battlefield came out as a broken mess of bugs but god was it ever so fun.. ahem... *spaghetti man*
bf2042 is a good game except that it um makes my pc go into BSOD (blue screen of death)
Tbh I think bf2042 will start to become the Bf4 of our era where the game only gets good after Y E S Amounts of Patches and updates
It doesn’t matter what game it is, battlefields launches have always been bad lmao
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Jesus, this game is raw as hell. And not in the good way
What happened to Dice? What were their playtesters doing?
2042 is pretty much dead on console
